i already love jess so much she is such a brat when she meets MGG like he is so patient with her because she has so many tactics to get what she wants and not get a job or go to school. 

today i can just picture her getting up like really early to watch the parade and then she's supposed to go home to her huge family get together but she's like NO I HATE THEM THEY HATE ME TOO deal even though they literally WANT to pay for her to go to school and they only kicked her out to try to wake her up but she is just convinced they hate her even though they love her and miss her. so she ends up staying with him and doing whatever he's doing and he's just like SIGH.

and her parents call to wish her a happy thanksgiving but she refuses to take the call and he has to talk to them omg i love them already.

my character omg okay my tay here is what i'm thinking patty read this okay and tell me what you think!!!!

so we shall call her tay because idk what to name her yet!!! so she's the youngest of 8 (and you'll probably recognize this idea from before but i tweaked it) and but 7 after her older sister died. so tay's family is like: brother who is like 31, brother who is 29, sister who is 28, brother who is 26, twin brothers 24, brother who is 23, then she had a sister who was SUPPOSED to be 22 but she died when she was born and then they conceived tay shortly afterwards but she wasn't expected. she's 21 now we'll say. 

well tay was born early and they thought she was going to die too but she didn't and so they weren't really sure about her because well their daughter died and they SURPRISE baby girl and they didn't really want her after first because they were mourning still so it was just a shock and they never really treated her like they should have because she was literally an accident overshadowed by the death of their kid. 

anyway, tay's got stuff going like essentially she is very small and immature. she's always been used to slipping through the cracks and sneaking by in life. she's really indecisive and may or may not have bi-polar disorder because she can go from one extreme to the other in seconds. she doesn't know what she wants in life either. she was really used to just skating by until her senior year when she failed because her grades just went to hell and so she had this wake up call because she repeated 12th grade. and so she ended up graduating but sorta lost faith in herself and because she is so sensitive and all over she took it as a huge blow like whelp today i'm gonna lay in bed and tomorrow i'm going to get a job WAIT NO I'M A FAILURE. 

she's really slow sometimes and will get needlessly rude and just is really ADD. so one moment she'll want to be a firefighter or something random and want to go to school for that and the next she'll be like fuck it i'm going to play trumpet in a subway!!!!11 but doesn't exactly have any follow through from her growing years just existing and not needing to do much. so when she finally graduated, her brother was moving out so her parents turned their attention to her. so when they noticed that she just didn't DO anything after graduating, no job or anything or filling out college apps, they were like hey WAIT a minute. tay just seems really nonchalant like hey whatever i'll figure something out one day and this goes on until a month or so ago when her mom is finally like ENOUGH IS ENOUGH GET OUT and kicks her out and cuts her off until she decides to enroll in college. like they tell her they'll pay for school when she decides to grow up. because tay is just acting like an ass like i do what i want type of deal so they're like bye bye then tay is sorta like well idk what to do NOW. so she sorta hops from place to place and avoids getting a real job or going to college because she's stubborn and then she meets mr MGG who i envision is older than her and understands the world. 

and essentially she is just stubborn and mean and mooches off of him and gets into fights but stays with him and will randomly leave and say she's never coming back but always does and then eventually he gets her to DO something with her life idk idk PATTY WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?

like if you don't like it we can rethink it!!!

gracie jade lancaster is the name. she was born on november 27, 1991. she is a poor soul born into a wealthy family that essentially fell apart at the seams. when she was born everything was chill - her mom was australian and her dad was american and he moved there on business but since met her mother and chose to stay living there and keeping his post in sydney or something like that.  she has one sister a year younger than her and a brother two years younger than that. well when she was eleven they moved to america because her father was offered another super spectacular job and less than a year after they got here he was injured when he was hit by a drunk driver and broke his back. while in the hospital they discovered he had another illness that he had been showing symptoms of but he chose to ignore. well, she and her siblings went back to australia for that summer while her dad was in the hospital and then when she returned she found out that her father was basically not going to live very long and with his injuries he was bed-ridden. so gracie took over trying to take care of the whole house. she would cook and clean and ride her bike with her siblings to get groceries and such and they would have help from her grandparents but without her dad's job they were losing all their money. their mom would work non-stop but only make enough to pay for his medical essentials really and they were running out of time and cash. when gracie was 16, her father died and that was when her mother fell into a depression and lost her job. gracie took care of her 15 and 13 year old siblings by herself a lot of the time while her mother confined herself to her room or went out for days and days on end without coming back. the depression hit her hard and so gracie went out and got a job and took care of everyone and still went to school but it wasn't enough to make ends meet because she didn't want to drop out and when she was 17, she and her siblings were taken away and brought to her paternal grandparents but gracie went off to college on a scholarship that fall. she still helps her mom out who lives in an apartment and tries to do everything for her. 

well she meets camden while she's out with her friends because they had a few mutual friends who thought "hey - these two both have killer accents, they should be friends!" and they spend the entire night bonding and talking probably until the sun comes up and they exchange info and talk and text and facebook each other neither really discussing their family life or any of those things and then eventually they get together. well when he starts having his problems, gracie is there for him wanting to take care of him because it's all she knows and she's just a giver and that one person who just takes care of everyone and she doesn't want to give up on him at all.
