Does anyone else have that issue where they read content and then proceed to like become the embodiment of that content?? Like for example reading a 100k+ fanfiction and then somehow taking all of the personality traits and jokes that were in the plot and making it like, you?? Like for me today I read a fanfic with far too many meme references tiktok stuff and shit and like woke up as if I was an npc with the soul purpose of being like the stereotypical like tiktok personality and somehow had losta fun acting like it??? also, what’s it about the middle of the night that just makes every fanfiction experience so much more enamouring?? like that cringey joke they just made? hilarious? the plot? makes you scream so much more at it like is it just delirium or just me idk I might be insane

Lil Mental Health Tips that work for me part 2
- This goes with one on the last post of doing back and forth with assignments, but if you are struggling to get tasks done and you need to get more than 1 done by the end of the day or a deadline, do a 15 minute or some other reasonable(remember reasonable for you, not what ‘should be’ reasonable) time frame and do back and forths! Do 15 minute of school, 15 minute of another task and then 15 minute break! Remember to keep track of each and it’s okay if it doesn’t work at first, it takes a small bit to get your brain in that mindset of 15s. - Along with the 15s, if you, like me, struggle with days feeling too long or too short or just with time feeling weird, just take things 15 minutes at a time. Don’t think “I have 3 hours until I can do this” Think, I have 15 minutes I have to get through, and once I’ve done that, I can take the next step. Try hard not to think of it as “one 15 just means another and that’ll just be 15s forever”, try to remind yourself that each 15 is a step forward. You’ve done a lil step and now you’ve done that and you know you can another! - This 15 thing is also a common thing that works for some people in regards to staying clean(not just SH, but anything you are trying to not do) Tell yourself you will wait 15 minutes. You won’t do it for 15 minutes and after that you will revisit whether you still want to. Those 15 minutes may be incredibly incredibly hard but if you can get through one you can tell yourself you can get through another 15. You got this! - Do you have something or someone you hate. Like hate with a fiery passion. Whether it’s the fact that some people drink ketchup and enjoy it or that fictional character you think deserves jack shit or someone irl who just don’t like, remind yourself that if you don’t continue going on there will be one less person who hates that. If you don’t like the idea of living for hatred, pick something genuinely horrible, and live to try and do your best to be the good in the world others aren’t. Please remember that these may not work for everyone and that’s okay! Also keep in mind I am not a mental health professional, I am simply a person with mental health issues who has things that work for me. If any of these are unhealthy or whatnot do please correct me and tell me and I’ll fix it :) Also sorry this one is shorter than the last.

Help so about like 2 or so years ago I saw the like milk before cereal or cereal before milk debate, and saw that most people said cereal before milk so to spite people even tho no one knew I did it I started doing milk before cereal like as a haha funny ironic joke and then I just got into the habit of it and the other day I like tried to do cereal before milk and realized it tastes completely different so now I'm just an advocate for milk before cereal so

Anyone else have that like issue where you want to do art digitally, but you feel like to do art digitally your art has to be amazing and so you never do it it digitally because you feel like if you do it w/o first learning to be good on paper it’s cheating and everyone will know you’re just a fraud?

Lil Mental Health Tips That Work for me.
- Make future goals, not ones like “be a millionaire” but ones you know you can achieve. Make a bracelet or a letter or something you can give in person for an online friend you hope to meet irl one day or for an irl friend and decide to give it to them at a later date, that way you can have a little reason to live, because you have to give them their gift at that date or when you meet them and you can’t die now, you have a gift for them. - Ask yourself if you would treat a child or a friend the way you are treating yourself, would you starve your friend or your child? And furthermore, if you had a starving child you’d work with them on being able to eat, right? Until you can find value in yourself and the things you do imagine you’re doing those things for others. You’re cleaning your friends room, you’re helping your mentally ill child show because they can’t find the energy to do it themself. - Write down nice things people say to you. Anything anyone said or did for you that made you happy write it down, not in a way of “look how fortunate I am” but as a reminder of the fact that you do have value, and sometimes our friends remind us of things we sometimes forget. Even if you don’t get many compliments if you write them down they’ll end up wracking up. - If you have trouble keeping your room clean, find some part that you can clean without much trouble(trouble for you, not what you feel shouldn’t be hard, something that is easy for you because we all have different standards and views on what is and isn’t hard) For me, I’ve learned to make my bed whenever I can. Even if the rest of my room is a mess, at least I can feel like I accomplished something, and sometimes after making my bed I find the motivation to clean something else as well. - For my ADHD buddies, body doubling is a godsend. Even if it’s some random online friend in a vc where you’re both muted it is a huge help for motivation purposes, as long as it’s someone who you won’t get too distracted talking to and end up talking to them instead of working. - Do you have assignments due in different classes? Do some of an assignment in one class and when you need a break move onto a class you can and want to do, then move back to the assignment you were working on with a clean fresh slate. Take breaks to walk around or breathe for a moment w/o work when needed, but make sure not to spiral. If you are working on Class A and get it half done and then you get tired and work on Class B and get it half done then you have gotten 2 halves of 2 assignments done, and all that’s left is 2 more halves, you have proof you can start and at least for me that’s immensely important.
