This got me thinking, I watched all the Bayverse movies as a kid and throughout my childhood I found out about information about Age of Extinction, on how the Autobots were hunted down one by one. One interesting and depressing detail I found out from an old post way back was that Sideswipe was hunted down and killed by Cemetery Wind. Then the surviving Autobots found him, buried him and mourned his death. What hurts me the most is like what was he thinking during all that? He and the other Autobots were just trying to survive, he not only witnessed one of his old leaders kill his mentor in front of him, couldn’t do anything about it. But now he had to be separated from his fellow comrades to protect each other. Which didn’t work and the fact he was the only Autobot to be buried and mourned over really hurts.

I have many favorite Autobots and Sideswipe happens to be one of them. I wish we knew more about him in the Bayverse and got to see more of him and Ironhide. I like to think they had a father and son relationship or a mentor and student platonic relationship, I just see them as a cool duo. Just as much as Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. But what also gets me is that during all this Sunstreaker in that universe could also be dead and not only him but Ironhide could be waiting for Sideswipe in the Allspark. Probably a bittersweet feeling, on one hand they get to see him again on the other he dies at the hands of those who he protected and lost his mentor and his friends over. Also another thought I wonder if the other Autobots would regret their decisions on protecting the Earth or feel honored that they followed their beloved leader to the end.

I just wanted to share my thoughts about this, sorry that this post was long XD

On a serious note I can only imagine how Orion was feeling during all that, seeing his best friend be transformed into something he isn’t only because someone hurt him badly. Both were lied too, enslaved, became cogless, and were almost killed by the same dude but only one saw the victory of exposing his wicked ways and not killing while the other only saw destruction and death as a fitting punishment towards this dude. It’s sad but true. Another note it was agonizing to watch this unfold on screen and understanding how it will end, and how that one “13 death’s scene” really affects them and creates a intense emotional change that leads up to that ***intense*** scene in this movie.

I don't feel like Orion trying to stop D-16 from killing Sentinel was because Orion felt like Sentinel deserved to live. I mean, he crashed an entire train into the guy just minutes before.

Imagine you have a chill best friend who is the voice of reason between the two of you, but he goes through a trauma that turns him into a roiling pit of rage. You keep reaching out to him and he keeps shoving you away. He is suddenly getting fusion cannon boners from beating the shit out of potential allies, and you have to beg him not to blow said ally's head off. Your friend frames this restraint as "the last time I will show mercy."

When Orion says "Don't be like Sentinel", I don't think he means "Um, have you considered that ACTUALLY this is not The Proper Way to change the government?", I think he means "You are losing yourself and it's scaring me and it's hurting you."

He was not trying to save Sentinel, he was trying to save D-16.

Slight spoilers TFOne for those who haven’t watched it: I wanted to talk about these details I have noticed while watching the movie of TFOne

You all notice how Orion literally kneels down to the minors level while giving them a speech? Not only does that symbolize that he isn’t above them but that he is being a good leader by making them equal. He may have a cog but he was once like them and that small detail was fricken genius his Optimus Prime colors started to show and really being out the gentleness and kindness he has even as a upgraded minor. And then become a prime, while for Megatron it’s different….

Many probably noticed how he gives an aggressive speech about how many should follow him and create a new order with no history of primes due to Sentinel, he is shown to be above everyone with nothing left to lose since he basically killed his best friend…there is no equality in this. It’s “either you follow or you don’t” and if you don’t your consider a “follower of Sentinel” and should be killed. However due to what has happened I don’t blame him for wanting to create a new order of things, he just went about it the wrong way sadly. And caused him to go on a rampage and try to kill those in his way and destroy stuff while others followed. (Still hurts my soul to see him go through this…😭)

These details in the movie make it so much cooler and lovable on how these writers really care about this movie and want it out these in here for fans to find and talk about. There are so many scene in this movie that I have just geeked out about irl and sometime I do wanna talk about it more here. ✨✨

HI HELLO I SAW YOUR POST ABOUT D-16/MEGATRON'S DRIED UP TEARS AND REALISED they're similar to the ones megs has on his face in the 1986 movie when he says "its over, prime"

Well I am officially broken…I found out a day ago that TFOne Megs literally cried in the movie. There have been clips of him with tear streams on his face of the aftermath of crying. And I cannot stop thinking about it…

LOOK AT THE GLIMMER ON HIS FACEPLATE! It was confirmed that those are in fact dried up streams on his face of him crying. Which breaks my heart even more for this guy…Megatron knows pain at this point. He was forged and went through the pain of being a slave, being cogless, being lied too, almost being executed, and killing his own best friend. This…this is it right here. He is now officially my favorite character in this whole entire movie. (Btw the job the animators/artists did with this is incredible✨).

We need a sequel so badly…😭😔

I watched the “The Wild Robot” recently and it really gives someone a new whole perspective on life and wild life. I loved all the animation and music involved! I have never read the books but have heard many recommending it and watching the movie. It made me cry, and love the friendship between Fink and Roz. AND THE LOVING MOTHER AND SON DYNAMIC BETWEEN BRIGHTBILL AND ROZ 😭. Anyways I want there to be a second movie of this and TFOne. (I do wanna draw Orion and Roz interacting. Because I mean come on her and him interacting is perfect).

I still can’t get over the movie….like I love all the characters, but who hurt me the most was Megatron…D-16 was happy. LITERALLY HAPPY. BUT NO. Crap had to happen and he had to become Megatron. I just can’t wrap my head around it all, of how this movie really created him as the villain we all grew up with. This movie made it so painful and yet sad but yet we see how it unfolds. I just still can’t get over it. Poor Megs…😭

Just watched the Transformers One movie and I am speechless. This was the best movie I have ever watched and teared up a couple of times, the wait was totally worth it and honestly I am hoping they make an art book, that would be incredible. The music and soundtrack and EVERYTHING was incredibly done and I love each of everyone’s arc and HOW MUCH OG CHARACTERS THEY INCLUDED! But man it also destroyed me at the same time- T-T

After watching the whole livestream of ALL the Epic Musical songs INCLUDING the Wisdom saga, I am officially broken by this musical, THE WISDOM SAGA REALLY PUNCHED ME IN THE GUT just like the Thunder Saga but it’s safe to say that I am ready to see more of what Jorge Rivera-Herrans and his whole entire team has planned for the next saga! ✨✨
