I've said it once and i'll say it again robin and vickie is a lazy pairing.

okay so maybe its because i ship ronance but aside from that let me explain why this pairing is so extremely lazy and lacks what other relationships have.

aside from the show being sci-fi and monster/battle focused something it does really well is developing friendships and relationships between characters.

example one: jonathan and nancy's relationship has been developing since season one. we see them pine over eachother in season one and season two until they eventually get together. even in season three and season 4 we see how their relationship develops and how the deal with issues in and outside of the relationship together. this is good character pairing. it has that establishment in season one, the team up and tension in season two and well yeah its just very good writing.

example two: byler. whether you agree its romantic or platonic thats your choice. But we see how much will means to mike in season one and how he is so focused on finding will, in season two we learn more about their friendship and we see mike being super protective over will. and since then there has been this underlying tone of homosexuality for their relationship. if they do end up together the build up and tension over the seasons will make it a really good relationship that once again is established and developed. the same can be said for lumax, elmax, jopper and even the friendship between dustin and steve.

now vickie was just placed into season 4 as robins crush and thats literally it. we see them interact in the first epsidode, which oh my god lacked what I was hoping would be good chemistry and tension. right off the bat this ship/pairing became so uniteresting. to me it feels they only placed her in as a crush and nothing more. also there was literally no establishment or development over the season which is why its lacking. It also is very hard to picture her character in season 5 as they didn’t set her up well or gives us a really cool new character.

from a ronance standpoint it would make alot more sense if they ended up together. we see them interact in season three which establishes their relationship. its also worth mentioning nancy is mentioned in robins coming out scene (this would’ve been the start of good development) we only then see them again when they team up to solve vecnas curse. we see them have to work with eachother closely which leads them to being friends but has alot of tension and angst. this would be a excellent lead up to them being together.

robin is the first openly confirmed queer character which is why the vickie pairing is so disapointing. if they wanted the relationship to have the effect that the other ones do they needed to develop it more. they could have mentioned her in season three while robin is talking to steve, have her walk in the video store when robin and steve are applying to the jobs. but instead they placed the most boring character with no previous connection to robin as her supposed love interest. It just feels super out of place and almost awkward!!

I think all sapphics and gays can agree we actually want to see a well thought out and developed relationship, especially a queer one!!

But who knows my opinion could change when season 5 comes out!! Let’s hope they fix their chemistry and actually make it interesting

Honestly, Ronance should be canon.

We all know it would be the best thing for both Robin and Nancy!!!!

yes I completely agree. As much as I adore jancy I think it would be really cool to see nancy in a different relationship. she is a very curious and for ever changing character so I think it would be nice to see her explore her sexuality as well. I also think she'd love being with robin as we see in season 4 she becomes quite fond of her. I think this relationship would piss not only her parents but hawkins off quite a bit which I think nancy would love being rebelious and exploring something new. But aside from this it would be a nice unexpected surprise for when both of them fall for eachother more obviously. we see in season 3 how robin assumes nancy is a priss but as she works with nancy closely her opinion quickly changes as she realises nancy is a character full of surprises. I genuinely think it would an immensely beneficial relationship.

Stranger things bts spoilers ahead!!

So they are still filming at the moment and filming this scene. A lot of people have assumed these kids are the main group but let me tell you it’s not.

First off it would be flashback so it’s clearly not the main boys as looking at the costumes it looks more late 80s outfits

These are the types of clothes they wore not even remotely similar.

So what is this scene? Well I think it could be anything really other than a flashback of the main characters.

Personally I think this will obviously take place in the last episode. It could be a scene where the grown up group or mike sees a group of four boys resembling his friends biking in the streets like how they used to do. It would be a sweet nostalgic/ looking back moment as the group are graduating and leaving to explore their lives. It would be a bittersweet sweet scene.

Season one and the first introduction to the main characters begins with the boys biking home with Mike watching them ride off. so this could be a parallel to this as a grown up mike is seeing his own friends and childhood in these kids.

Do you think there's a chance for Ronance to be canon?

Okay as huge ronance shipper and stan I wish I could say yes but I have to often correct my own delusions and think realisticly.

I think its clear we see a nice connection develop between nancy and robin in season 4 which is to me set up in a way were its very sapphic with lots of tension. but unfortunalty i think because its the 80's and considering nancys family I don't think they'll end up together.

realisticly nancy will either end up with jonathan or no one. robin will either end up with vicky or no one. I'm hoping robin doesn't end up with vickie as its such a lazy pairing and has no chemistry or establishment. But you never know what tricks they might pull for ronance.

But i'm am expecting some more ronance genius teaming up and tense moments between the two in season 5!!

I'll go a bit off topic here since I already answered this in my last ask-

I'm a bit more concerned about where El is in the first place. The scene is presumptuously for the epilogue but that's not confirmed. She hasn't been spotted since they started filming these epilogue scenes and I have a source who says they're unsure about where she is. I'm also a bit concerned that Mike and Hopper are seemingly having a scene in front of a memorial for fallen victims right now. Then I'm thinking about Millie's surprise at El's final ending which doesn't seem to jive with the "everything goes back to completely normal" kind of thing we're getting here.

I have a theory about the scene depending on if we actually see El or not in the next few weeks. I don't think she will die in the traditional sense, but I have a feeling something supernaturally strange will happen for her ending....

My thoughts on the end of stranger things!!

as we know a lot of images and sources have come out recently stating that all four boys survive and graduate. and look not to be a buzzkill but let me explain why this may be a bait and switch twist.

stranger things is a super anticipated release considering its the last season so they would go to alot of measures to avoid spoilers. so when sources say they spotted all four boys graduating this may be to avoid spoilers.

for example hypothetically speaking, if will was intended to be killed off they wouldn't want this spoiled as it would have alot of impact, so to avoid spoilers of character deaths they would ensure characters/actors/doubles are spotted in costume near various scenes. so what i'm trying to say is just because all four boys and other characters were spotted doesn't neccessarily mean they are alive. they would be taking alot of precaution with spoilers. considering its the final outcome.

now please don't take what i'm saying super seriously as well I could be totally wrong but it's very likely they are getting hopes up for a reason (potentially). Its essentially so we don't actually know whats going to happen.

New stranger 5 production photos!!

Filming is currently underway on downtown Hawkins set at the movie theatre!! And lots of Hawkins signs are posted up which kinda confirms that Hawkins goes back to normal

The film on the theatres signs was released in may 24th 1989 which is when they would graduate as well!!

Could we see a Lumax movie date or a big group hangout?
