Furina: I'm very grateful to Neuvillette for all the hard work he's done for Fontaine in the past few centuries. It seems he doesn't intend to investigate my crimes of deceiving the people. Neuvillette: The work that she has done over the centuries is truly immense. If were to ever make a return to the stage, I should personally attend the performance and give her my heartfelt applause... Yes, I must do so when the opportunity arises.

Blues time.

I didnt want it to get this far, but Ive always liked Furina a lot, then 4.2 happened with all the drama and betrayals and guilt, and then I saw Neuvilette smile and it was OVER.

Suffice to say, these two are stuck in my head permanently.

I honestly like any interpretation of their relationship, but I just found I have more fun coming up with more ship-y situations for them. (also like, small and feisty + tall and cool, by now you should know my preferences)

Anyways, bit of context for the Melusine one: in contrast to most Fontainians, the Melusines have been with Neuvilette and Furina for decades, so while they answer to Neuvi, Id think Furina still is a soft spot for them.

(And Neuvi seeing his ex-Archon he rly wants to reconnect with get along so well with his daughters, well, man has to decipher that emotions first).

She’s been acting as the Hydro Archon for five centuries. Of course it will leave a lasting mark on Furina. She needs a long, looong break.

And this is what I hate about the Traveler and Paimon. Furina just said that she wants to take a break from acting and respect her boundaries, but these two are doing the opposite and being insensitive pushy jerks.

Paimon is being rude to Furina and even guilt trips her. I expected better from the Traveler especially since he knew what Furina had gone through, but no. He’s also persistent as Paimon.

No means no. Furina already said she won’t take the role, so move on.

TOON BELLAMY.

I wanted to draw a cute stylized reference of.. my dnd oc Bellamy Briar… looking like the fancy long dad he is (was).

Ingredients that comprise bellamy: 70% leg; big glasses; big hair; big ears; big nose; big dimples. Somebody get this skinny tired boy some decent food and sleep. His sclera are actually dark grey!

I play Bellamy in a Curse of Strahd game and he’s developed as an oc in his own original plotline! He’s a Grave Cleric Revenant, who used to be a sun elf when he was alive. He’s also a doctor, surgeon, plague doctor, and straight up a ghost - when he died, he lost his body and returned to the living world as a horrific abyssal wraith being, and he disguises his undead nature from people (and his own party members who don’t know!) behind the plague doctor mask he died in. 

How did he die? After his adopted daughter was infected with the plague that was decimating their sleepy rural village, Bellamy prayed to an evil god to save her, cutting out his own heart in an occult sacrificial ritual in exchange for her life. Too bad the god, The Hidden One (true name Indrik, owned by @jacobin​, had other prophetic plans for him. :^) Now he’s an empty plague suit wandering Barovia, in thrall to his god (and eventually lover) of secrets, the unknown, pacts and dreams. 

When alive he was very sweet, gentle, self-sacrificing and desperate for any kind of love or validation after a history of abuse and emotional neglect; as a Revenant, he’s mechanical, robotic and devoid of complex emotion, unable to understand or relate to the living after being dead for many decades.

at the end of the day what happened is that rhaenyra and daemon’s grandchildren all became self-destructive women-hating neurotic catholics because they could not cope with bearing the targaryen family curses or the spiritual void left behind by losing the dragons. how powerless it made them. the ghost of alicent hightower really was walking those halls huh

tb fans will be like “rhaenyra did not orchestrate b&c so u can’t blame her for that. that was all daemon” but in the same breath will place the blame for everything the men in alicent’s life did on her. otto pushed her to keep viserys “company”? her fault. viserys marrying her as a child and pumping her with children thus causing a succession crisis? her fault. larys manipulating her after she’s left alone at court after her father leaves? her fault.

and yet she’s the villain for wanting to protect herself and her children. right
