I love that magically short window of time when we head to the river for a walk and find that it's elderflower season. Picked a few heads to make into cordial.

My brother very kindly gave me a batch of elderflowers from his new garden so I could make some Elderflower Cordial.

But it is rather a lot of fun...

The harvesting has well and truly begun with tomatoes, runner beans and juicy peaches!

A busy morning in the sunshine staking up the tomatoes, planting the basil, and checking on the mint and strawberries. The runner beans have a long way to go to reach the top of the arch but I'm sure they'll manage it - they outgrew last year's frame!
