Hi you guys! It’s been a while!

After a very tulmutous period, I’m excited to announce that I’m finally settled down and in a situation where I can begin writing again, yay!

However, I feel like I’ve outgrown the use of tumblr, so this blog will be here as an archive of sorts for the time being.

I’ve moved my social media presence to twitter. You can find me over there at https://twitter.com/moonchalice

My fics will still be posted/updated on AO3, though I’m considering changing my username there too.

At the moment I’m currently re-editing both of my currently on-going fics, and once that task is finished, I’ll be posting new content on AO3. Please follow my Twitter if you���d like to stay in the loop for furure updates!

Hakyeon lay on his back, staring straight up at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep. The advice given to him by the strange hooded figure they had visited the day before was still echoing in his head. It would perhaps be best if you left this city.

He looked towards his companions to see if any of them heard what was said, but they already disappeared into the darkness of the hallway. When Hakyeon glanced back into the room to question just what he meant, the mysterious figure was no longer seated behind his desk. In fact, he seemed to have vanished completely in the one second Hakyeon wasn't paying attention.

Hi Soo!! I really really really love your fics a lot! They're so so good but it's been a while since you updated, are you doing okay? Everything all good in life? I know writing takes time and sometimes writers block happens too but I just wanted to let you know that I'm super excited for the next installments whenever you're ready to put them out. I know you sent this a little while ago and I am sorry I didn’t get to it sooner, but I haven’t been checking my email inbox very much (and generally ignoring all my social media on the whole, eep).

First let me say thank you for wanting to check in! I really appreciate it!

Secondly, I guess the timing of your message is really fortuitous because I was thinking recently about posting something regarding it, but actually no, I’ve not been well.

I know I last updated the fics in December, and had been gearing up to update both Rebels and Serpents and Stardust in February, and while I do admit the fic writing took a bit of a backseat to my Korean grammar blog I never intended on actually letting them languish this long. Around that time I was feeling rather unwell and starting going to the doctors to figure out just what the heck was wrong.

Long story short, after a lot of blood work and various tests and different things, I finally got a diagnosis about a week and a half ago. This has been going on since February. I’ve recently started medications but even then, they said it’ll take a couple weeks to start seeing results.

Additionally, all of this has been incredibly expensive--I moved to the US towards the end of last year and I don’t have American health insurance. And I haven’t been able to get a proper job while this has been on going, so I’ve been focusing mainly on doing what I can to offset these bills instead of focusing on writing (be it fic or grammar lessons).

I 100% intend on updating both the fics as soon as I possibly can (I had a skype brainstorming session with some friends a couple weeks ago!), and I’m really grateful everyone has stuck with me as long as you all have! I’m going to do my best to get back to writing, however at the moment I don’t have a firm ETA on when I will be able to update next. :( But I’m looking forward for when things are a little more stable so I can get back to doing things I enjoy. :)

I LOVE YOUR WRITING STYLE IT KEEPS ME SOO HOOKED!! also i know i shouldn't have but i burst out laughing when leo said "you can't train me. I'll eat you" and then, few chapters later he's like "you dont look very tasty" its typical leo who's always worried about eating hahahahah

He had only been half asleep really, simply dozing because subconsciously he had been waiting for the alarm and didn't want to miss his cue. Taekwoon pressed his feet into his slippers and stood in order to stretch for a moment before he headed for the small desk and chair just opposite of his tiny bed in his extra small room. He couldn't complain about the size though; Taekwoon was one of the few people on the ship who even had a private room. He'd take a tiny single room over the larger, more spacious dormitory rooms a lot of the other crew bunked in any day. The light in the center of his comm box was flashing. The small 5x5cm smooth metal cube was the only thing currently on the desk, and Taekwoon pulled it forward so it was settled directly in the middle. He sat up straighter in his seat, squared his shoulders, and cleared his throat before he pressed the flashing light.
