This second Friday of February, in honor of the national Black History month celebration, elee.mosynary gallery will be showcasing the work of Basis for Perpertual Rebel, Marcellous Lovelace, Marley Billie D., and Marcus Sterling Alleyne. Each artist has a distinctive style and philosophy displayed in their art, however, these selected works are all created on found objects and vividly illustrate and epitomize the Black experience in America.

In 2014, from June-December, a young G hosted nearly 50 exhibitions and art related events, showcasing the works of over 150 artists including emcees, DJs, producers, painters, photographers, videographers, poets, fashion designers, chefs, et al. 2015 will be a year for much growth and development, no Larry. The foundation has been laid, building has begun, #LetsGetRich is the new mantra goddamnit.

In honor of this second day of Kwanzaa, Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), the "50 Shots" project provided 50 Black men an opportunity to define themselves and also demonstrates the diversity in the Black community and seeks to expand the perception of Black men.
