mornings (b4 first block)

go 2 lunch room and then when the bell releases the students - to sarah's locker

mary - white. pretty green eyes; has had the same backpack since 5th grade (pink. lots of stuff written on it. i wrote stuff on it.) i had the same english class with her for years. and then not this one. once got free stuff bc her name is so generic it was used as an example. has a sports tumblr. likes hockey and soccer. we have this game we’ve been playing for two years where whenever we enter a room/hallway the first to make a hand motion is the winner and we get a point for the day. really easy to talk to. tends to sit in the background if there's more than two people though.

kayla - white and has this really interesting way of talking it's. i can't explain it. i like it. it's cool. she's really really small and skinny bc she's sick a lot. she had a stomach surgery (i think) sometime a few years back and she was out pretty much the entire year. likes drawing and writing. draws a lot of anime (like actual anime not "OH IS THAT ANIME") (it's pretty good) uses a lot of japanese names for them too, but she's not.. weaaboo-y? i guess. has this kind of "gentle sarcasm" thing going on. she has cute freckles

crystal - not quite sure of her race or ethnicity?? tbh? (not white though) uses a lot of hand gestures. smells nice a lot. softspoken and has a laugh that kind of drifts off. used to be extremely shy in elementary but she’s a lot better now. makes these sleepy motions a lot. carries a shit ton of books. good at art and likes it, but has a really controlling mother (who she doesn’t talk about much - but it’s really apparent). in2 sherlock and doctor who.

sarah a - one of the three sarahs i know. she's middle eastern (i think?) and her laugh is really cute she has really pretty brown eyes (i swear they literally sparkle) and eyelashes. also sarcastic. she's also really easy to be around and just talk to and i appreciate that. locker combination is 42 30 40. we meet at her locker every morning.

first block - Art 

teacher - mrs. norton - one kid (age 2); likes running (but her husband doesn't). eats fruity chocolate. actually not as peppy nice as i thought she's pretty chill

katie - white; redhead i guess? not quite? blondeish red? strawberry blonde? white.she has freckles too. plays soccer. i thought she was going to be those nice, studious people but she's actually pretty funny although extremely feminine. blue-green eyes. always does her latin hw in art. shorter than me (5'0)

ashika - indian; also 5'0. really long, black hair and she's so short she seems shorter than katie i guess it's by how she carries herself. also very feminine (although kind of... a differnet sort? idk) laughs. a lot. 

donald - sophomore that's 17 bc his parents started him in school late. likes anime but hates anime?? laughs at my jokes a lot. i got him to give me chocolate so he's cool in my book. pretty good at art tbh. parents are lawyers. has 3 older siblings and 2 of his sisters are born on the same day (but are 2 years apart). i called him an accident. im terrible.

those two girls that sit across from me idk their names (prezli? and something else) - one of them (the someone else) was in my class last year apparently whoops. she smacks gum really really obnoxiously and kind of actually looks like victoria except not. it creeped me out at first. prezli???? is more quiet and she's apparently the daughter of a teacher and a principal or idk. they giggle a lot and it kind of scares me.

chandler - white boy he has this red nose and it's kind of cute (not him; but the nose thing); idk what grade he's in; he's kind of annoying tbh i havent actually talked to him but he feels annoying. thinks he's really good at art but i mean. he's  okay i guess but he has this rlly big ego and it's gross.

peyton - white scene boy w brown hair; sometimes comes over to talk to donald and the two giggly girls; wears snapbacks and beat headphones and hipster glasses. has extremely clear skin and fucking perfect lips i'm so? wtf. a huge douchebag. he looks 10.

marsailles (not sure how 2 spell) - black i think; kind of weird he curses to himself a lot but not quite. in a normal way. he draws it out a lot and i'm not sure if it's a southern drawl or something but i dont think so? i think he has a speech problem. tall. 

some other kid with really scene hair that sits at my table - white; blonde scene hair; he's small but has this super deep voice it's kind of offputting. i tell him to get out of my way and stop stretching a lot (jokingly) and it's one of those joke things u kno.

teacher - mr congo - very sarcastic; 3 kids; knows greek and latin and also majored in marine biology - brought us pencils back from london

camille - white; smart kid; my dad works with her dad. isn't allowed to use any sort of profanity at all (not even crap or?? antyhing like that it's); brown hair (wavy); kind of reminds me of a bird; whistles a lot

kaitlyn - white; blonde (sits behind camille); smiles a lot and leans forward when she talks (not in a flirty way just an eager way); rides horses

melissa - white; dark, thick, wavy hair. extremely skinny. apologizes a lot (but isn't really shy). probably, objectively, the best at latin. apparently really girly but i thought she was just kind of a really study hard kind of person. it's weird.

biagio - white italian kid (as in he speaks italian and is from italy not as in "yeah i'm part italian); the only sophomore and the only male in the class (that i am aware of); has this habit of touching his stomach while he's talking it's kind of funny; he walks funny too; really tall; i stole his lunch

katie - same as from art

paige - white; one of the twin set who i hang out with the most. orderly and nice. likes sherlock, doctor who, supernatural, etc. has a tumblr. came up with the term "funny lying" for when we lie but pass it under "sarcasm". which we both do. constantly. really cool. has this funny laugh when she laughs really hard it's cute.

kali - white; blonde. pretty but the kind of pretty that you have to really look at her to realise how pretty she is. friend since 7th grade i think? she's also kind of bitter towards me i think. it's. just the way she says thing sometimes. insults me a lot but not in a friend-way just in an extremely mean way and i think she considers me a friend but she also kind of hates me because she views me as lesser than her or more stupid than her but i make better grades than her and she is spiteful to me because of that.

block 3 - psychology

teacher - mr hoyle - overweight guy; sarcastic; curses; pretty funny (but really religious so i'm kind of ehhhhh); also considers himself a cynic so once again - ehhhhhhhhhhhhh

mia - the other twin; has this way of walking and talking where she's kind of... in your face? i guess. not in a rude way but in a confident/powerful kind of way. it's cool. longer hair than paige (wavy). cool. also has a blog for superwholock.

ASSHOLE BOY - white; i think his name is dustin? mayb? idk my teacher made a joke about him 2day but im not sure if it was him?????? ugh. ANYWAY. GROSS. WILL PROBABLY. COMPLAIN ABOUT HIM A LOT. i told him he looked like a serial killer tho so. ha ha...... h..

other girl (stephanie?) - black; idk i just sat by her today but she gave me 6 starbursts so she's cool in my book. i think she's this girl from 7th grade that everyone was making fun of for being a lesbian (who knows if she is idek) and she used to come up to me and tell me i was cute and i didnt even know her so i was just really confused and kind of scared. at least i think it's her. she gave me candy.

kristin - white; long, brown hair. known for a while. talks in this really kind of soft, clear way. does acting and is pretty good at it. seems like she'd make really good grades, but she doesn't. nice enough.

hannah - white; blonde (shortish hair) if you have a problem she will do everything in her power to top it and complain about her problems and say that she has it much worse. really smart with a hugeass ego and i want to punch her 90% of the time. (was in my chem class)

luke - sometimes sits with us; white; dark hair; ice blue eyes. his younger brother is my younger brother's best friend pretty much. i used to make fun of him a lot and i kind of forgot and was confused why he was being an ass to me and then i remembered. dont really talk to him

brian - white; red hair; sometimes sits with us (basically there's 4 people that's part of luke's thing when they cant find a table). a sexist asshole who i used to know in 8th grade. i dont think he recognizes me or he's pretending not to and i am cool with that.

kyra - not white? idk i think she's mixed. was in my creative writing class but i never talked to her. kind of reminds me of a rabbit. bakes cakes but hates cake.

??? idk - luke's gf i think probably? i had never seen her b4. smiles a lot and kind of intimidates me. another one of those nice people i think.

okay so what i've decided that will probably stick:

there are two realms on earth. they are kind of... somehow overlapping each other. in former times they were separated into the type of "normal" creatures we have on earth. this realm is called The Heaps. on the other end, where all the "supernatural" creatures live, it is referred to as The Risings.

these terms were coined by the inhabitants of The Risings, who have always been aware of the existence of The Heaps. on the other hand, people of The Heaps have no concrete knowledge of The Risings, although there have been incidents of things from The Risings creeping in.

The Risings are populated by "magical" sorts of (mostly) humanoids/ish. it used to be shifters, demons, elementals, and angels (also known as elves).

shifters are a fairly peaceful race since they shift between all sorts of creatures (both of the risings and of the heaps). most specialize in different shifts. as in animals/plants/non-living objects and it's very difficult to shift into perfect imitations of an individual person (although general similarities aren't too hard; such as hair colour). however just because they shift into something does not mean they obtain its power. they obtain a physical form through these means, but they cannot replicate talents/abilities (although they can obtain weight; so if one would shift into an elephant or sorts they could probably crush someone). there are a few  shifters that do not generally have a physical form. they're kind of.. "ghosts" i guess?? a lot of times they'll get lost for years, just floating around in nothingness with no real sense of consciousness until something grabs their attention. shifters are gender neutral (although some take a preference) and live for eternity.

demons are, in general, very competitive. the sole trait they all share is metallic colours of eyes (silver/gold/bronze). their skin colour also usually takes on a slightly grey shade. their skin colours vary from human tones to monochrome bright whites-pitch black. demons royal heritage have a tendency to have blue skin (a rarity). they have the ability to alter dreams (sometimes, if powerful, the thoughts of others) and create force fields, but are not an cruel bunch (contrary to popular opinion). they like to best each other in mind-tournaments where they try to overtake another's body to do things. but have a very strict moral code not to do this to others (although sometimes... pranks call). many of them do have horns (different depending on their heritage) and tails (long, wiry - with a hard and spiky feather at the end) (actually the feather is usually soft, but it hardens when they sense danger). they can control their tails like a limb and use it often in fights (which they enjoy having, but only for sport). most possess above average physical abilities. although they do not have a gender binary, their build is very like humans in that there is a "male" and "female" body. although this means nothing to them aside from if they want to produce offspring. demons mate for life and do it regardless of gender. when they lived in the risings, they were extremely family conscious (and even race conscious at times), but that has changed.

elementals come in four sorts: air, fire, water, and earth. the basic elements. there are, of course, subgroups (such as mermaids/dryads/etc.) but those are the broad range. each elemental has the ability to control their element (to an extent, as their power comes from pretty much using some of their "blood", as their veins do not contain actual blood, but their element) and they can turn into their respective element, losing a humanoid form. it isn't sure which is an elemental's true form, but they each have their own preference. water elementals and earth elementals tend to group together into their own society. neither society has a "leader" and actually most are just generations of family together. although elementals do die at some point, they have a fairly long life span. air and fire elementals prefer to roam on their own, although they do have companions and families, after about the human equivalent of 10, most children are kicked out. offspring creation is a very strange thing, mostly involving the wish for children and breathing half of each parents power into a collection of their element. with this being said, it is possible to have more than 2 "biological" parents.

and then there's the risers, or, well "elves/angels". in appearance they vary greatly. they are all humanoid and cannot shift forms. they are very like humans except that they lack breasts since the young is not fed milk, but power. in regards to genitalia, well, they all possess both masculine and feminine. they all appear mostly human, except that their skin is slightly luminous and the trademark elven pointed-ears. skin colour can be possibly anything across the human spectrum and any other colour known to humans and those that aren't. (although mostly only ruling blood (those who tend to be stronger) have colours that deviate to a significant amount from humans. they have highly developed senses, including ones that deviate from the main 5. for example, their ability to determine another's intention towards themselves and to detect presence is great. some are exceptionally skilled in this. they also possess magic (called "whyre") and it's basically what gives them the power to fight. different risers command whyre different ways. there's no actual gender, if anything, they would all be considered "agender" although pronouns are of no meaning to them as when they communicate with each other they interpret words as more of images and less of the actual words themselves. when referring to one another they generally use the pronoun "rhe/rher/rhem" but will respond to any others (if they respond at all). unlike all other raves, risers are highly aggressive. to solve the high death rate, a rule was agreed upon that there would be one riser at a time that sits above all and will pretty much dictate everything. however, they are an antsy bunch, and every 50 years or so that person will be murdered off and the killings begin again until another takes the throne. usually the fight for the top seat is limited to the "nobles" of sorts, but a particularly strong commoner might be noticed and picked for the competition whether they want to be or not. they can be without food or water for a long time, but do require it. They refusal on principal to mingle with any other race.

anyway. the Risers, being the violent sort that they are, decide to purge their place of all the filth who get in the way of their fighting so The Heaps are merged with the Fallen (aka those who got kicked out. shifters escaped into nature, as did some elementals. the other elementals and demons mix with the humans.

years and years past and so many races in the heaps are mingled that there's very few of one race anymore. pure humans are almost extinct. many have some sort of power from their mixed blood, but there are few that have actual useful power.

the government right now is controlled by not quite fallen, but with a high amount of power mixed into them. they want to abolish all fallen and interfallen. meanwhile, the resurgers want to destroy both the fallen and interfallen and the government.
