For one, I think that Ayato would be angry on your behalf because you didn’t deserve such a thing. He also feels terrible because he knows and you don’t, meaning that he’s extremely conflicted about whether you should know or to not meddle in business that isn’t his. He thought about maybe paying your so called significant other a visit so you wouldn’t have to go through the pain of knowing that someone was cheating on you, but then again, it wasn’t really his business.

Due to Suzuya’s lack of morals and empathy, he probably would just straight up tell you that you were being cheated on. He could see the hurt look on your face, but he thought it was the best for you to know rather than unknowingly being hurt by you so called “significant other.” When he watches you dash off with anger and hurt he just stands there. The next time you see him, you apologize and explain that you weren’t mad at him, but the fact that you’ve been cheated on this whole time and that you’re glad that he told you.

Hide, like Ayato, has conflicting feelings of whether he should tell you or whether he should just let it fold out on its own. He really hates seeing you being hurt so discreetly, but then again, he’d feel awful worming himself into your business. The poor boy decides on telling you because he believes that no one, especially as lovely as you, deserves to be cheated on. At least he’d save you the pain of finding out and unsure of whether your partner really was or not.

Your eyes were glued to the TV screen in front of you, watching some stupid rom-com that came up as you were channel surfing.
