(Hello! This is kind of a patch notes post in a way

There is a chrono tag now! You can go on the .03 link in desktop and all of it its under story It’s so strange to see my old art...

There will be a small hiatus since the next update will be kind of long and I need to draw all of it. You can still ask Palmer stuff BUT you can also give Palmer questions to ask to Gabriel! If you wanna ask Gabriel stuff just put “to Gabriel:” before your question!

Two hours before Gabriel arrives

Palmer was shaking after some of those questions. All the fire talk in a group chat didn’t help him calm down again.

Of course he was afraid.

Of course he knew this could be dangerous.

Everything about Gabriel was dangerous.

“You shouldn’t think like that though” His mind scolded him.

Lou squeaked and tried jumping off the table to go back under the couch. He thankfully managed to grab her and put her back in her cage. No running away tonight.

He took a deep breath and texted Dr. Hopper

Palmer🐀: Hey Hopper. I need your help. Nothing serious.

It wasn’t late yet, but Hopper usually had already scheduled meetings. Maybe they will answer at ni-

Dr. Hopper: Hello Palmer. What’s wrong?

 He read and re-read for a while. There was a lot going on. How could he tell them?

Palmer🐀: Nothing is wrong.I made a friend with someone in town.

That wasn’t completely a lie.

Dr. Hopper: Someone? Do I know them?

Palmer🐀: I don’t think so, but Jules does.

Dr. Hopper: Ah, that is good.

Palmer🐀: He is coming home tonight.

He took a deep breath and sighed. He still felt some weight on his shoulders.

Despite everything Gabriel scared him.

Dr. Hopper: What?

Dr. Hopper: Palmer are you sure?

“Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?”

“But you are scared”

His leg started bouncing, trying to think on what to say.

Palmer🐀: He seems trustworthy...

Dr. Hopper: I don’t know about this Palmer…

Palmer🐀: If things go badly you can help out, right?

He felt so wrong typing that. He cupped his face and groaned. He was blowing this. Maybe he shouldn’t keep this conversation going on. Maybe he should tell Gabriel to do this another day. What if he got mad though?

Palmer🐀: I’m sorry that doesn’t sound like I wanted it to..

Palmer🐀: I’m kind of nervous about it, that’s all

Palmer🐀: I’ve never had someone come in my house like that besides you

That still didn’t ease his mind.

Dr. Hopper: I’m out of town for the night.

What?

Palmer🐀: What?

Dr. Hopper: It’s what we were discussing with Jules today. I’m going to the closest towns to warn them about the rogue disguiser.

Dr. Hopper: They can’t get another disguise that easily, right? They would still look like Charlie..

He hadn’t paid attention to the meeting today… It was so loud and his brain was still thinking about his encounter...

Palmer🐀: I’m sorry about Charlie.

Dr. Hopper: It wasn’t your fault at all. We will be fine..

Palmer🐀: Still….

Dr. Hopper: Palmer, it’s fine. Enjoy your night, okay? Stay safe too.

Dr. Hopper: You can ask Jules for help.

“That Jailor hates your guts though...”

He didn’t want Jules’ help.

Palmer🐀: Alright…

Dr. Hopper: I hope you are right about this friend. Maybe I can meet them another day?

Palmer🐀: Sure… maybe you two will get along?

Dr. Hopper: Perfect. We can set up a day for it later.

Dr. Hopper: See you tomorrow, Palmer

Palmer🐀: See you...
