It’s because I know not a SINGLE PERSON that’s not upset about the amount of work we have to complete for school over the summer. For a language class, we are somehow expected to complete over 20 pages (if your handwriting is as obnoxious as mine ig) and teach ourselves like half the whole flipping curriculum.

Also, @myheadprepetuallyhurts, we definitely should meet up or call or SOMETHING bc I don’t think any of can finish this on their own (at least not without breaking down over the presentation of nouns.)

‘Radio’ in Spanish means two different things. El radio is the chemical element or a circle’s radius(so the internet says) and la radio is a radio.

Pride Month is rightfully every month.

The last day of Pride Month… already here. Are we all ready to cease to exist and disappear for the next 11 months?

Unfortunately, the corporate world is now going to tear down the pride flags and collections. They’re gonna change their logos back to the boring, generic ones. What’s not expected?

But Pride Month was never about the pride collections. Any month of awareness is just that; Awareness. It makes you wonder, ‘do any of these companies have a SINGLE queer identifying person on their marketing teams?’ Like, who cares if there’s an overpriced rainbow hoodie in every other store? Because let’s be real: Pride is about raising awareness. Not about lesbian flag dresses.

So post about LGBTQIA+ awareness even AFTER Pride. And know that’s it’s because it’s genuinely needed. We don’t need awareness to be “represented” by random companies. That’s not what we’re fighting for.

Baking should not be this stressful

I tried, okay? I TRIED MY BEST making banana cookies. It's not my fault that it's SO FLIPPING STRESSFUL-

I'm sweating and it's not even funny-

And my cookies are still in the oven, and they're STILL SQUISHY-

IT HAS BEEN 20 WHOLE FLIPPING MINUTES AND THEY'RE STILL SQUISHY-

Do I deserve this? It should be in my blood, no? My sibling is a baker, and they're literally fine. BUT ME?? WHAT IS THIS-

oh well, let me check on my cookies- OH WAIT, THEY'RE STILL SQUISHY IT'S BEEN 22 MINUTES ARGHHHHH

And the thing is, I cleaned up, did the dishes, and am done with the prep time. but I'm still shaking? I will never get how they do it. Like- never ever am I gonna like baking.

ALSO I HALFED THE RECIPE SHOULDN'T IT TAKE LESS TIME?! The website said that prep time was 15 minutes, it's really not.

So it’s Father’s Day today,

Celebrating Father’s Day can be a conflicting idea for a lot of people.

I know this, so I’m really glad that I have a father that is here, caring for me and my sibling, my whole family. For Father’s/Mother’s Day, my sibling and I typically take them out for dinner, and have like a mini celebration. It’s pretty important to my family.

I think my sibling and I take Father’s Day/Mother’s Day very seriously because it’s hard to find time or even bring up the conversation of ‘hey parents, we appreciate you working your asses off for us’ during the rest of the year.

it can feel like an excuse, the gift being an apology for my being a moody teenager. I mean, I don’t have the perfect, pristine relationship with my dad. But in my family, I know my dad does really care. I am forever grateful and appreciative for him because he’s been supporting me in a lot, regardless of how his intentions seem unclear sometimes.

Father’s Day means a lot to him on a personal level as well; His father (my grandpa) passed away a couple years ago. We don’t talk about things like that out loud, but I can tell that the day hurts him. The year after my grandpa passed (his dad), I heard him mumble under his breath, “this is my first Father’s Day without a father.” That… stung. Did it feed my already overwhelming anxiety? Yes, like tenfold. But can I still empathize with him?

A very super, awesome, irrational fear of mine is of the people in my life whom I love dying. The question is, ‘when will my last Father’s Day with my dad be?’. I have a habit of distancing myself from people I think I’m gonna lose. I can see myself doing it to my parents when they got sick. And now… Father’s Day comes around and I have the urge to make it so special. Because who knows? Maybe he won’t remember me in a few years. idk🤷🏻

So anyways, I covered a song for him, my sibling’s gonna take him shopping, and we made a little scavenger hunt to lead to my performance. The song is actually more about me singing it, not the song itself, (well the song is about a guy talking about his dad, but singing it is more important…?) What I mean is that my dad sings 24/7, it’s definitely in my genes, in my siblings genes. My passion for music was definitely sparked by him, my love for ‘Lambi Judai’ came from him, dance, music, and producing all supported by him. I gained the confidence to sing around him, and recently showed him my own music. So this surprise has a deeper meaning to it.

Do we say any of this out loud? Hell no, are we crazy? We just hope that he’s insightful enough to realize how much I do appreciate him.

people who don’t identify with the ‘two binaries’ are trying hard to find labels outside of those two boxes… so don’t force them back into a 3rd box!! We don’t want to be in there, thanks very much!

But hey, it definitely can be a step in the right direction, but it’s like creating a system when there is no need for it.

Hello everyone, this is just a friendly reminder that, since there is no binary system, I don't see why we should want a body which is the expression of it. For example: I don't want to be neither a girl nor a boy, so why should my body be female or male? And also remember that there is no trinary system either. It's not: male, female, nonbinary. There are people who feel like both male and female, people who feel partly female/male and partly nonbinary and so on. There are people who don't care about fitting in your stupid boxes, because it's not about cis or not cis. Gender is a spectrum, don't act like giving three options is inclusive, because it's not. It's a step in the right direction and I appreciate it, but remember that gender doesn't work like that.
