(I'm gonna assume you're referring to the original fics)

When I write them I try to think how would y/n act, not necessarily realistically (because then it'll all end with restraining order), but I give y/n a bit of a relatable characteristics, and describe their inner thoughts (sometimes) as well as motives behind actions. Basically give both the Yandere and y/n a personality that is not too cringe because I'm tired of the typical cringe Yandere x reader stuff.

That or it's cause I'm unhinged, or maybe both lol
