Namjoon

“Why do you have a doctor’s appointment today?” Namjoon asks when he comes into the living room.

You have to force your eyes away from the girl on tv, crying her eyes out, “Huh?”

He strolls over to you, handing you your phone, “Why do you have a doctor’s appointment?” he repeats and dumps down on the couch next to you.

Your eyes widen as you stare down at the notification, “Shit!” you exclaim, quickly turning off the tv and jumping to your feet, “What time is it?”

“Almost four,” he announces, looking at you with eyebrows drawn together.

“Almost four!” you almost fall over the coffee table as you run to the hallway to get your shoes.

Namjoon is right behind you, looking as puzzled as ever, “What’s going on?”

You grab my jacket just as you pull open the door, shortly followed by Namjoon.

“I’ll drive you,” he says hurrying to the driver’s seat.

Within twenty minutes you’ve made it to the hospital, and both of you are honestly surprised that you A. didn’t get into a car crash and B. didn’t get stopped by the police.

Nevertheless, you hurry into the building and up to the front desk.

You’re only fifteen minutes late and you’re silently praying that you don’t have to get another appointment.

When the lady at the desk asks for your name, you’ve almost forgotten that Namjoon doesn’t have a clue as to why you’re even at the doctor.

“A screening test?” The lady says just as she points to the waiting room, “Please take a seat, the doctor will be with you shortly.”

You thank her with a nod and dump down in one of the hard couches.

“You have a screening test?” Namjoon mutters as he crouches down in front of you. For a second you’re not sure if he even knows what it is, but then a smile breaks out across his face, “You’re pregnant and you haven’t even told me?”

You silently sit and watch his smile grow even wider while questioning why you haven’t told him sooner, “Surprise...”

Jin

“Look at her,” Jin mutters in awe when a little girl in a pink tutu and a crown tangled in her curly hair runs to her mom, “Isn’t she adorable?”

You smile when you see him waving at her, trying to catch her attention, before giving up and leaning back against the bench, “When I have children, I’ll buy them a thousand costumes, they can be whatever they want to be.”

Your eyes shoot to his face, halfway expecting him to look at you with a knowing look, but to your relief, he’s still watching the little girl, who’s now twirling around in circles.

“Do you want children?” You ask cautiously, trying to keep your voice normal.

He turns his head to look at you with dazed eyes, “I’m almost 28, I don’t think it would hurt to start thinking about children now.”

Your mind is already racing and you can barely get the image of the positive pregnancy test out of my head before you’re suddenly just thinking out loud and doing the one thing you’d promised yourself you would do, which was blabber about it. “Well, I’m really glad that you’re thinking about getting kids soon, because I’ve actually also been thinking about it a lot, and seeing you being all cute like that when looking at that little girl, it just made me think that I should just tell you that–” He cuts you off by placing his soft lips against yours.

As he pulls back, he’s smiling shyly, “If you’re trying to tell me that you’re pregnant, then I already know.”

You frown at him, “You know? How?”

His smile widens, “My mom told me, you know she has an eye for things like that.”

You shake your head, who has an eye for ‘things like that’. “I’m glad you finally told me though, I’ve known for about two weeks now.”

You gape at him, you’ve only known for a couple of days, “Your mom is good,” you mutter.

Hoseok

Even though you know Hobi brought you here because you were supposed to give all of them constructive criticism on their dancing and singing skills – not that they need it – you find yourself being distracted by Hobi’s smooth moves as he dances across the stage. A perfect smile rests on his lips the entire time, and you can’t help but return it whenever he looks at you.

However, every time you return his smile, you feel a bit guilty, a feeling that makes your chest tighten.

“Y/N!” Hobi calls out of the blue, surprising you and pulling you out of your thoughts.

“Yeah?” you reply verily.

He gracefully jumps from the stage and jogs his way to your spot a few meters from the front, where the Hobi and Jungkook had managed to carry a couch out for you to sit on. “Did you like that thing I did with my hands?” He asks smiling.

“I always like what you do with your hands,” You mutter distractedly, seeing his smile widen. “I know you do,” he winks, “But I meant this.” He recreates the thing he did on stage twirling his hands in the air.

“Love it,” I say, feeling a sudden nausea over me.

“Why don’t you come dance with us for a few minutes?” Hobi suggests already pulling you out of the couch. It was no hope if you held on to the armrests.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Jungkook chimes in, as he dumps down on the couch.

You send him a mean look, not worrying about Hobi seeing you because all you ever do is stare at Jungkook like the brat he is. Except this time, the brat knows one of your secrets, which you’d told him because you were having a mental breakdown about this whole ‘pregnancy thing’.

“I can dance,” I protest following Hobi to the stage, where he lifts me up easily.

“Be careful Y/N!” Jungkook calls from the couch, “Wouldn’t want you getting sick!”

Hobi frowns at him and then at you, “What’s he on about?” Hobi questions.

You shrug and shadow your eyes from the bright light. While walking away from him as he climbs onto the stage you begin to mumble under your breath, “You know, the usual stuff, stressing about life, being pregnant, running on three hours of sleep every night.”

“What?” Hobi mutters right by your ear as his hands land on your waist, as if he was about to lift you off the ground.

“I’m just kidding,” I laugh harshly, trying to brush it off as if it was nothing.

“You’re a horrible liar, you know that, right?”

“Okay, well, I might be a little pregnant,” You admit, watching his smile set back into place.

“I can’t wait.”

Yoongi

“I’m about this close to coming home today,” Yoongi says showing you just how close with his thumb and index finger a few millimeters from each other. “You’ve only been gone for three weeks,” you remind him, even though the grin still splits your lips.

You’d been lying to yourself about not missing him ever since he left for Japan, and every night you’d had a huge space in the bed, which he usually filled.

“Doesn’t mean I can’t be excited to see you again,” he smiles his gummy smile and winks at me.

You smile at him, but even though you try to make it seem genuine, you know he can see straight through your smile.

His smile falters, “What’s wrong?”.

You chew on the inside of your cheek.

You’d wanted to tell him after he came home, but what did it really matter if he was coming home in a couple of days anyway.

“I actually have some news,” you met his eyes, doing your best to make it sound like it wasn’t a big deal. He’d been dropping hints about how he’d want to have children sometime in the future.

You hoped he was okay with the future being a lot sooner than expected.

“What is it?” he encouraged you when you didn’t continue talking.

“Do you still want to have a child?” you muttered, avoiding his eyes and staring at the hat, which had some Japanese written on it that you couldn’t read.

“Say no more,” he replied, holding up a hand and calling for someone off screen, “Jin hyung! I was right, you owe me.”

You looked at him with shock painted all over your face, “You knew?”

He grinned at you, “Of course I did.”

The smile on his face told you everything you needed to know, which was that he wasn’t even the slightest bit unhappy about your pregnancy.

You burst out laughing when Jin throws some money at Yoongi, “Damn you,” Jin mutters.

Taehyung

“I actually got the craziest call today,” Tae suddenly mentions during his very detailed description of his concert a few hours prior to our call. You continue my never-ending doodles as you absentmindedly mutter a ‘what’.

“My mom called me and told me some very interesting news,” He continues.

“Did she make cookies again? Because I could really need a new batch,” you say, readjusting my phone.

“Not even close,” he tells me, “She actually told me that she talked to your mom earlier, who talked to you this morning, and–”

“She did what?” you cut in, suddenly very aware of the conversation, “What did she tell you?”

Tae laughs softly at you, “Why do you sound so worried? Do you have something to tell me?”

You nibble on your bottom lip, happy that he can’t hear your heart beating hard against your ribs.

“Nothing?” He continues when you don’t reply.

You fold my legs underneath you.

“Well, she told me that apparently, my girlfriend is pregnant, isn’t that a little crazy?” he says.

You silently curse your mom. You’d told her not to tell Tae. But to be honest she hadn’t told him directly, and you should’ve known she’d tell his mom since she’s her number one gossip friend.

“Are you mad?” you mumble.

You’re not sure how to take his silence before he takes a deep breath, “I’m not mad that you’re pregnant, but I’m a little mad that I wasn’t the first person to know.”

“I’m sorry,” You mutter, “I just didn’t want you to come back home while you’re on tour.”

“Are you kidding? We have five days before our next concert, so I will be on the first plane home tomorrow morning.”

Jimin

“What do you mean you haven’t told him?” Yoo-sun exclaimed, and you were almost certain that she was going to choke on her coffee. You shrugged as if it wasn’t a big deal at all, as if having a baby was a piece of cake.

“Tell him now for God’s sake!” she ordered handing you your phone, which she’d been using to look at pictures from when you went on vacation last week with your family. You’d only come home a few hours prior to the unexpected visit from Yoo-sun, and you hadn’t even had the chance to tell Jimin that you were home – not that that seemed too important anymore.

“When did you find out?” she asked for the fifth time.

“Five days ago,” I repeat while typing the message.

Jungkook

”Y/N?” Jungkook’s voice sounds from within the bathroom and you flip onto your back with a groan, ”What?” you reply, even though there was no way he’d be able to hear you. His figure appears in the doorway and you peek one eye open at him, “Is there something you want to tell me?” he questions, causing your brows to furrow.

“Like what? I promise it wasn’t me who ate that last piece of pizza if that’s what you’re talking about.” You push yourself up against the wall and hold your hand up to the bright light from the bathroom so it wasn’t blinding you anymore.

When he doesn’t say something immediately after, you exhale loudly, blowing some stray hairs out of your face, “Okay fine, I might’ve eaten the pizza, but you shouldn’t leave stuff like that in the fridge without a note telling me not to touch it.”

He doesn’t even laugh at your joke, and as your eyes adjust to the light, you notice that he isn’t even looking at you.

“Are you pregnant?” he blurts as if he can’t say it fast enough.

Your eyes widen in shock as your eyes focus on the small device in his left hand, “What?” you mutter, even though you heard him perfectly well.

He moves over to your side of the bed and sits down, shifting his gaze between you and the pregnancy test in his hand, “Are you pregnant?” he asks again, more softly this time.

A lump forms in your throat as you try to make your mouth work, “How did you get that?”

He nods his head towards the bathroom, “Saw it in the bin.”

You bob your head up and down and then shake it a few times as if unsure of what to say. “I don’t know if I’m pregnant,” you finally say, staring down at your ridged hands.

“There were three positive tests in the bin,” he reminds you, which of course already knew.

“Do you want to be a mom?” He questions, his eyes boring into yours when you don’t reply.

“Do you want to be a dad?” you retort shortly after

You could see his throat working as he thought your question over for a few moments.

“I think we can do it,” he mutters under his breath, reaching out for your clammy hand, “But only if you want to.”

You were quiet, staring at him intently as if to see if he actually wanted to or not, before murmuring a ‘We can do it’.
