𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭

warnings - spoilers characters - hunter and willow ( huntlow fanfic ) genre - fluff, and angst i came up with this last night and i thought this was an amazing yet sad scenario, so i decided to drop it down and see what my mind can come up with, it takes place in season 3 episode 1

as flapjack was trying to get hunter under control from a remnant of belos, it seemed whatever possessed hunter was even more annoyed by the bird's attempts so as flapjack was pecking at one of Belo's antlers, the possessed hunter grabbed him and began to speak

"That's right, you wouldn't want me harming your precious palismen, would you? but then again" he turned to look at the group "I don't care what you want " with that being said, flapjack was now fatally injured by Belos beyond repair but before Belos could do any more damage Willow sent an attack towards Belos clutching Flapjack with gentle care and handing it to luz

currently, the ones who were standing in front of each other were Belos and Willow, regardless, Willow was not scared, she stood her ground attempting to protect her friends regardless Emperor Belos found this amusing and wanted nothing more than to end the one person that got in his way- no got in the middle of making his nephew fall in love with someone like her. " you are the one my nephew seems to really care about, how amusing "

Willow kept her guard up and not looking away from him, she loved Hunter more than he could ever know so that's why she couldn't hurt him. why would she? he was someone amazing and worth a bunch of talents in the academy, and she wanted to be by his side but the plan she had might cause an altercation in the future, but it was a happy thought. her bee palismen tried to fly to her side despite Willow holding up a hand declaring she didn't need her palismen to help her. "Willow? " Luz said with shaking breath and tears still streaming down her face, flapjack also noticed and tried to hold up its head to look at Willow. however, the palismen was too weak to do so, Willow turned her head to look at them slightly but only smiled as tears dripped down her face. she used her magic to make her appear in front of the possessed hunter and hugged him

Hunter was trying to fight from the inside and eventually got through and looked at Willow, scared but also tearing up "Willow! What are you doing?! " he stated looking down at the girl that was holding him "You'll get yourself killed if you do that! ", however, willow didn't care and only hugged him "Hunter, I love you and I want to help you as much as you help me please, let me - " however before she could say anything else, a sharp pain began to appear in willows chest, Belos had landed a fatal below directly into Willow's heart and was giggling

" you should never let your guard down in front of a strong emperor little miss half a witch " Belos spoke and pulled the fatal blow out of Willow's heart and watched her body fall to the floor. everyone was panicking and screaming, Gus was upset that his best friend now was close to dying and there was nothing he could do, he was frozen in place, scared.

Hunter saw everything and how Willow's body fell to the floor not moving an inch, there was no pulse that he could see. he was scared and most importantly heartbroken, his crush was now dead. dead in front of him, and there was nothing he could do. he was trapped and scared. however, before Belos could do any more damage. willow whispered something and hunter could only mutter a few words "
