Before and After: Edna's Ghoulification
Before: Edna Murdoc, four times widow and divorceé.
After: Edna Murder-McCoy—still married to the same man after a century and a half, against all odds.
#I am looking forward to the Fallout 76 ghoul update.#Fallout 4#Ghoul#Edna started turning into a ghoul shortly after her marriage to Mort. She was enamored with him from the day they met in the Wayward#But he rejected her advances because 19-and-fresh-out-of-the-vault seemed practically a child to him.#She turned her attentions instead to a raider named Bones. They would have divorced had he not been killed by an underling he left for dead#Her second husband was a hunter she met outside of Crater. The had an amicable separation after realizing they wanted different things in l#They stayed friends until his death.#Her third husband was an unusually intelligent supermutant roaming Appalachia as a travelling doctor.#He died after they were attacked by an independent group of raiders leading to Edna's Raider Queen era.#Her fourth husband was a farmer she married after getting bored of leading the raiders. This was the only marriage she considers “failed”.#She ended up chasing him off of his farm and selling it.#Not long after she encountered Mort and they joined forces - eventually marrying.#They moved to the Commonwealth to find work after the incessant bombings left Appalachia inhospitable to all but ghouls.#They made a home for themselves in Diamond City and purchased a house near the Market. After their business began turning a steady profit#they bought the neighboring warehouse and began renovations to turn it into an office. A week later McDonough began his campaign.

I should take a snapshot of Edna while I have her ghoulification mod off.
#I'm trying to get the mod to work with a hair mod.#Fingers crossed I can get it to turn on again.#76er: Edna Murder-McCoy#Fallout 4#I am using the Ghoulified Alternate Start and Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar V3.0 mods on FO4.#G.A.S. is extremely finicky and I can't remember how I got it to work without freezing the game the first time.#I decided to give Avery Pendrick/Nora the Sophisticate hairstyle#so I want to change Edna's to Azar 13.#If I can't get it to work#I'll let Avery have Azar 13 or return her to her original Wendy the Welder haircut.

do you guys think Luci ever regrets how he treated mc?
like, would he feel guilt after getting to know them fully? Would he be embarrassed that he was so quick to hate them, especially after experiencing their warmth and their kindness. And when would this finally hit him?
maybe it’s whenever they do something for him, whenever they dip into his office to give him some snacks and tea when he’s been working for a while, or maybe when they volunteer to stay after at RAD an extra two hours to help him wrap up some student council work.
or maybe it’s just whenever he see’s them in general, laughing, doing their work, simply just existing, every second of them being relaxed around him makes him remember the time when they weren’t. When they’d sit up straighter and avoid eye contact.
or maybe it really hits him hard when they flinch away from him, really he had just caught them off guard and snuck up on them, but the way they moved away from his hand, almost fearfully. Maybe his mind goes back to all the threats he had spewed out at them in the heat of the moment, or maybe his mind goes back to when he had injured their hand during the retreat. the first thought in his head is that he doesn’t want them to feel that way about him, to see him as this imposing figure to be feared. He doesn’t want that, he wants them to know how dear they are to him, how treasured they’ve become, how he’d never allow anything bad to happen to them-
Do you guys think it would keep him up at night? Thinking and regretting no matter how many times mc tells him that they’ve forgiven him? Humans are just so much more fragile compared to demons, and he knew this, how could he have been so ignorant? Moments like these most likely make him despise his sin.
#My MC is a pair of sisters#Lenora and Maven#Maven is friendly and well-behaved and has never seen the dark side of the Devildom#But Lenora spent their first year trapped in it#in no small part because the threats from him (and his brothers) led her to make a deal with another demon for protection.#He knew there was a rift between him and Lenora which was likely because of the way he used to treat her#but it isn't until the end of Season Two that the brothers learn about the deal.#She doesn't go to them about it.#No#the plants she buried in the garden throughout season two suddenly turned into various members of the Devildom's Missing Persons list.#That raised some questions... that led to some answers that keep him up at night.#Reblog#Obey Me

Here are some questions to consider for character development:
What parts of their childhood trigger them?
How do they treat themselves when they're feeling sad?
What parts of themselves do they tend to hide?
How do they punish themselves when they make mistakes?
Who are they loyal to? Why?
Who do they avoid? Why?
What emotions or situations do they try to avoid? Why?
What angers them?
What are their insecurities?
What are their emotional triggers?
How do they feel about love?
What are their fears?
What is their relationship with their family like?
What kind of people do they tend to gravitate towards?
What do they like/dislike about themselves?
Happy writing ❤

I was creating a log of Avery's first day in the Commonwealth calculating time based on distance traveled instead of the in-game clock, and realized that her first encounters with raiders, radscorpions, and ghouls were all within 15-20 minutes of leaving the vault.
#Fallout 4#SoSu: Avery Pendrich#OC#She never visited Sanctuary because it appeared abandoned.#Instead she went south following the “Best of Three” questline. Since the distress signal was from Vault-Tech#she hoped to find allies at the end of it

"The Postman" (Rebooting my Fallout 4 OC)
To the Commonwealth, she is Mrs. Nora Franklin, a desperate mother; to the Railroad she is the Postman, Deacon's resourceful partner; to her family, she was Avery Pendrich, the best graduate VTU has ever seen.
Avery's childhood goal was to become an actress, however the rising concerns of nuclear war lead her to change course and in 2076 she graduated from VTU and was assigned to the Vault 111's research team. Though she had misgivings about keeping the nature of their vault from its residents, she saw value in having members of the future population that were free from the diseases and mutations that could arise from radiation or in-breeding.
The stress of being confined to the vault caused her ladies' hysteria to resurface and she kept to herself so that the unfortunate quirks of her grey matter would not test the respect of her neighbors and colleagues. As her reclusiveness meant she was rarely seen researching in the labs, she was assigned the majority of the janitorial duties and took care of general maintenance.
In late March, she was drugged by another member if the research team and her body switched for that of the occupant of Pod C7, his lover Nora Franklin. Her attacker claimed in his report that the issue was a malfunction. As Avery and Nora shared superficially similar features and the staff members were preoccupied with the dwindling rations, the change and her disappearance went unnoticed.
As part of Vault 111's stagf, Avery felt responsible for thr deaths of its residents, and resolved to find Shaun Franklin and ensure that ge had a comfortable life as a way of atoning for her part of the tragedy. Assuming that the workd outside would ne more willing to help a desperate mother than an ethically questionable scientist, she left the vault not as Avery Pendrich but as Nora Franklin.
Her starting Stats:

Does anyone have any Fallout 4 OC questionnaires to share and/or questions about Avery Pendrich and/or her nieces Edith Murdoc and Edna McCoy (neé Murdoc)? I am in the mood to dive back into their story.
Avery Pendrich was a low-ranking Vault-Tec employee at Vault 111. As a child she was determined to become an actress and dreamed of playing the Mistress of Mysteries on the silverscreen. Looming concerns about the war lead her to focus on a more practical career path that would benefit society. In 2073 she was accepted into VTU and the Pendrichs moved to Appalachia. Thanks to her sister Charlie's artistic talent she was able to secure her a place in Vault 76, and she was sent to Vault 111 to work as a janitor and mechanic.
Quiet and reclusive, she often was perceived to disappear for days. This and her superficial resemblance to his lover lead her to be an ideal victim for Douglas Thompson, a member of the vault's staff who had struck an affair with Nora Franklin, the unhappy wife and mother of Nate and Shaun Franklin. He sedated her and swapped her for Nora, who he intended to run away with. Both Douglas and Nora died during the mutiny.
After thawing out and seeing the blood on Vault 111's hands, Avery determined to find Nate Franklin's kidnapped son and ensure he was taken care of to atone for her part in the tragedy that had taken place. Suspecting that a grieving mother would find more help searching for a missing child than an ethically dubious Vault-Tec employee, Avery adopted the persona of Nora Franklin.
She recognized Deacon multiple times while traveling the Commonwealth and suspected that he was related to Shaun's abduction. Things were cleared up after she stumbled across the Railroad's HQ while fleeing from raiders.
Thinking she had discovered a forgotten piece of history that had been uncovered by the bombs she used the sounds of the dial's mechanism to crack the lock. To her disappointment all she discovered was a secret, underground society dedicated to liberating obscure, pre-War musical instruments from Canada.
Though not invested in their mission, she decided she needed allies better acquainted with the new world than she was. And so began Deacon and the Postman, the most worrying team-up the Railroad had ever seen.

More fallout 4 oc lore questions for people (other fallout oc answers also welcome): what does your oc do in the wasteland now? Do they have a job? What do they spend their free time doing?
#After the Railroad's defeat of the Institute Avery Pendrich takes a trip to Appalachia with her most trusted but reluctant friend Deacon#who has a few pertinent secrets there he would like to keep.#Afterwards Avery decides to take care of long-distance jobs for the RR because it's easier than admitting to the entirety of#the Commonwealth that she is a VaultTech employee who stole the real Nora's identity.#She tends to spend her time doing odd jobs When she has time to kill she enjoys listening to music and photography.#Reblog#Fallout 4#SoSu: Avery Pendrich

Werewolf Lore Book found in The Quarry Game
Okay, where do I start? A few days ago I was playing The Quarry and trying to get screenshots of Travis. However, while in the Hackett House, I saw this book. I was curious if it said anything. Part of me wondered if it was just gibberish since the player can't really see it and it would just be for dressing the set and making the room look full. However, as I squinted I realized it said Curse of the Moonlight. I began to try multiple different methods to read the two pages of text. I couldn't find it in the game files and searching book didn't get me anywhere. However after some clipping and eye strain through using my glasses as a magnifying glass. Maybe this has already been discovered if so that's okay. I still just wanted to point this out. I am unsure which character was reading this. I want to say Chris Hackett since there are cigarettes present and the only other time I've seen them is in Chris' office as he smokes.
The text reads as the following:
Before the creation of the curse more than 23,000 years ago, the people of the old town, recognized the presence of an evil spirit, which successfully escaped from hell, broke all the spells which imprisoned it since the initial establishment of the Earth. Mankind had been struggling to fight and hopelessly defend themselves before the cruelty and the brutal behaviour of the beast. Finally, through all the tears and bloods, prayers and desperation, mankind lost to the creature and vanished. However, becasue of the vital impact and the destructive damage the conflict resulted, the Mother of Nature abandoned it from the ground, kept it in captivity under thousands of earth layers, for million of years.
The curse is supposed to be timeless. But unfortunately, some unconscious individuals summoned the beast with a deadly ancient magics and spells. Following the guide of the devils, they were forced to wake the monster from the deepest place that the humanity may ever know. Hence, every night when the moon shines the brightest, it will rise and hunt for human lives, as many as he can find, as much as he can fulfill the hunger through so many years, just until the sun rises to the fullest. And that became the story, which is then conveyed and spreaded from ears to ears, about this enigmatic forest.
Once upon a time, there was one said every journey is always full of unexpectancies and moreover, inevitable incidences. Stories have been told through centuries and decades, from villages to towns, from the elder to the youth. But not as the generations pass by or as the time fades, the curse has never been once broken. Whenever the reading is started, the moon will shine and the untamed creature will be released from your worst nightmare. Danger is triggered. And death follows.
Now, one is here in this place, reading these ambiguous is and wondering about everything. But he did not even noticed the wind has begun to blow harder and colder. The surroundings are frozen, not because of the weather, but due to one thing which is coming for the thirst of blood. The shelter is no longer a place to settle. It is now a deadly hunting area, dangerous obstacles, damaged constructions and mysterious blood stains.
In every step he takes, the traces will stay to wait for the beast. Like the last footprint he left during the last moment of his life. His scream will not be heard and his prayers will not be granted. He may survive but the terrified soul will last forever. His curiosity was the cause of the unfortunate event. And now he has to pay the bloody price and no savior would come to rescue.
Every moment he has now is priceless and vital. His life and the journey of survival depends on how he uses his last breaths. Which means now is the time that he needs to start to run.
My most insane attempt to read it which got me 2/3s of the way down the first page.

Updating this idea to add Travis's expertise in romance novels being key to catching a criminal in one episode.
I need a buddy-cop show about Travis Hackett and an idealistic young woman who joins NKPD. It starts out wholesome, with her friendly attitude slowly pulling him out of his shell. He sees in her the man he wanted to be: someone devoted to bringing justice and protecting the people of North Kill. His responsibility to his family is more important than his own wants, but she doesn't have his burden. He is happy to encourage her, to give her all the tools she needs to become the best cop North Kill has ever had
But in the end, that is why he has to get rid of her. Because she can't accept that sometimes hikers get lost.
