I might be one of the only people that thinks this but I actually like the AOT ending more with the additional pages. I felt like the original ending was missing something and I do think the additional pages add the extra elements I wanted originally. 

I think it is fitting for the story to show that Eren’s actions actually had more consequences than benefits and it makes sense that the ending is almost cyclical. And I like that it ends where it started (as in where the titans started). My biggest issue with the original ending was that it felt like everyone moved on and the world just kept going after this horrific tragedy. I think it makes sense that they wouldn’t forgive Paradis and war would continue. 

I still wish that Historia and Levi got to have more of a solid character ending but I understand that this is about Eren Armin and Mikasa. I still love the way the relationships between the main trio ended.
