People liked my last post about this so here's some detailed wing headcanons for Grian:
They flap when he's excited, happy, and also when he's flustered
They flare out when he's angry or startled
When he's scared or hurt they either fold over him or fold back
They droop when he's tired
He can force these movements but it takes conscious effort most of the time so it can be tiring to do consistently
They will instinctively flare out and/or flap rapidly if someone touches them unexpectedly
Only a few people (Mumbo, Scar, sometimes Jimmy, sometimes more) are given permission to touch them
When they get wet, they are an absolute pain to dry and can weigh him down if he's flying
