If a leprechaun appears in your house
I. If a leprechaun appears in your house
If a leprechaun appears in your house, you've been touched by a curse.
You will see rainbows every day,
But the sun will always set before you reach the pot of gold.
The pinches will drive you insane;
the leprechaun's cackle will meet you in death.
But if, one night when North Wind screams her agony,
if you shelter a leprechaun in your house,
your courage will bring the end of the rainbow to your eyes every morning.
You will be blessed with more than gold,
for you are courageous
and a leprechaun never forgets a strong heart.
II. If a mermaid cries for help
If a mermaid cries for help,
and you go, fearing, yet reaching for her burning hair,
your lungs will forever scream for water.
You will hear her velvet song while you sip your drink.
The sea and the lakes and the streams will pound through your mind,
until your thirst drives you to the sea.
But if, one morning when the waves pin her against the rocks,
if you lay your wife's shawl round her shoulders,
you will be loved by the sea and by her people.
Your crops will spring forth beneath the gentle rains,
and while your neighbors thirst,
you will be satisfied.
When your son is lost at sea in service to his country,
he will be found.
For though a mermaid cannot be dried and cannot be warmed,
a mermaid can be dashed upon a rock and a mermaid can be saved.
A mermaid never forgets a kind hand.
III. If an angel falls
If an angel falls,
and you stand, towering, over it's broken form,
and decide their kind are obsolete,
you will burn.
The sun will scorn you and pour its molten fury across your body.
The birds will claw at your stone heart,
throwing it from heights to watch it shatter below.
The vultures will feed on your bones,
yet you will not die.
But if, one frightening day, an angel battles before you and falls,
and, trembling, you take its sword and give one human blow in its defense,
you will be one of us.
When men turn against you for your loyalty,
we, the legends, will fight for you.
You will not lose your lands for the leprechaun shelters inside them.
They will make you bleed,
they will make you break and your followers will break,
but you will not cry for the mermaid has taken your tears.
You will be cut down as the woodsman falls a great oak,
but we will stand beside you and return blow for blow.
We will help you rise.
For while an angel may fall for a moment,
we are never obsolete,
and we will repay.

Heroes
Heroes should be perfect
Tall and straight and true
A perfect smile and pretty eyes
And they never lose
Villains are the dark and dangerous
Hateful dirty cold
You should see them the moment they come
You should fight them and watch them fall
You should be the hero; take them down without losing your soul
Depression makes us hate ourselves
Covering the light in our lives as the black hat covers the face if the killer
Suicide makes us hurt ourselves
Beating the woman the villain once took
Addiction makes us serve another
Kicking the hero as he lays in the dust
And the scars on out wrists cover the perfect smiles

People title instagrams
Always with their birth dates
Like they're trying to memorialize
When they began
I've noticed no one makes their names the dates of their deaths
No one goes into the future
Maybe our future doesnt exist
And Instagram is the only one to know

If you run out of living models to photograph, start using dead things instead. There are so many more of them.
