Y'all I have a horrible idea for a farming game

Your character is a swordsman, who's tired of fighting, so you and your party members make a deal to start a town together. The catch? A bet is made that if you can do everything you've agreed to do for your work, only using your sword, for a year, then they'll throw a huge celebration for you and the town.

The work includes:

Farming(digging, and later tilling and such, and you use the sword to splash water at it to water them)

Digging for cool stuff

Chopping down trees

Raising monsters to produce food and such(you don't butcher your own monsters, but sorta like rabbits' feet in stardew, if they are happy enough, you can let them around the town and they'll come back with different types of monster meat. Your character will have a funny reaction to this, and will say "I'm just going to ignore this...") (The fifth time a monster gets something, another one of them will be dragging a passed-out character to your doorstep, and they'll become your roommate until you build them a house.)

Fishing. The fishing minigame is pretty much just tying a string to the end of your sword. The fish include: Fish, bigger fish, smaller fish, not a fish, and a potato.

Mining. You stab rocks with a sword until they explode comically

Building buildings and structures and paths by hitting them with your sword

Making a train station

Crafting things

Blacksmithing is one of your party member's jobs, as to not melt your sword.

The buildings can be mixed and matched to customize them

You can gain friendship with people who decide to visit your town, as well as building on it with your previous party members, and if you show off your ☆cool sword skillz☆ and offer to build them a home, some of them will open businesses, and a few of them will get together after a few different families with school-age children move in, to open a library and a school, and the cleric who was in your party becomes a doctor, and their small friend who they meet up with becomes the town menace(and banker, they are good at their job)

The friendship system is less focused on romance, and more focused on friendships formed, although romance is an option.

The sorcerer from before your party settled down also discovers her grandmother lives there and so together, they decide to prank you by either turning a single one of your floorboards into a slightly darker shade of wood than the rest of the floor, or by turning one of your ground tiles into a tile that will always grow a potato.

Okay, so I'm thinking: Mumriks are sorta like migratory birds. They all go in a specific cardinal direction when winter comes. They go northeast. "Oh why would they go to a colder climate" Because they have a tradition. It's known as the midwinter bonfire, basically a huge Mumrik fair on the winter solstice.

The way it works is that the fire stays burning all night long, and midway through the night, the adolescent Mumriks get as close to the fire as possible. The parental lineage and how the Mumrik was raised really impacts how they grow, such as Mumriks growing up on their own or with their father missing having lighter fur and growing taller than their father, having both parents means that they have super dark nose fur and more cat-like eyes, and having a Mymblemama as the mother makes them grow antennae and grow much much taller than their fathers.

The fair is filled with music, dancing, and laughter, but one of the rules and traditions is that no talking is allowed.

Moomins: Hippos with short white fur. Very protective of their tails. Remain relatively the same as they age.

Snorks: Moomins that change color according to their emotions. Girls often have blond bangs and most boys are shortsighted as they grow older.

Mumriks: All Mumriks are biologically male. Mumrik features include larger noses that grow fur as they age, fur on hands, and dark, slim tails. The features are highly influenced by surrounding parents, but if the child of a Mumrik spends much of it's childhood alone, it will have lighter fur and hair, and will grow much taller than its father. If a child has a Mumrik father, he's a Mumrik son.

Mymbles: Highly matriarchal, most commonly ginger. The women keep their hair in tight buns to show off their antennae, which develop after their mother has died and the new matriarch has been decided. They are up to 7 full inches tall (remember that to the Moomins inches are like feet) and the men are often disregarded and go on to have a comfortable existence. Often short tempered.

Perfect Peter was abused too

TW for themes of abuse for this rant

So for context of this title, I grew up watching Horrid Henry, and as I grew older, I realised that Henry's parents were pretty damn toxic and neglectful towards him, such as punishing him at the drop of a hat, constantly taking things away from him, blaming him for everything, etc. It's fair to say that Henry is a victim of neglectful and somewhat abusive parents.

And I used to think it was Peter who was the true "villain" because he's generally portrayed that way through Henry's perspective. But over time, I realised that Peter was also facing abuse from his parents, but on the other end of the parental abuse spectrum (if that's even a thing).

While Henry is the scapegoat, Peter is the golden child; the kid who can do no wrong, who always is put on a pedestal and has to be perfect and well behaved, otherwise he is made to feel shame and disappointment. And because of this, he is a constant people pleaser and always tries to please his parents otherwise he feels like a disappointment. However, even when he is misbehaving, he never gets in trouble for it, like in the episode Perfect Peter's horrid day, he wants to push the boundaries and try and get in trouble, but no matter what, Henry is ALWAYS blamed while Peter is doted over.

Anyways I headcanon that Henry and Peter grow closer when they grow up and they both go no-contact with their parents. For Henry he has no issue cutting them off immediately, but for Peter it takes him a little bit longer because of how he was raised, and even has second thoughts about it but realises that it's not a healthy dynamic that he was raised with.
