Phyllis frowned as she took one last glance at her very empty, barely-used appointment book, and sighed, before the bright, blonde wig she had been waiting to come her way all night - right by the exit - popped into her peripheral vision.Alright. It’s time. Now or never. Well… Okay, so, technically…since they’re here pretty much all the time, so, I mean, there’ll be other opportunities, but…no. She quickly grabbed the book and slung her bag over her shoulder, stood in her seat, and made a beeline towards the leader of the group, just as she neared her post.
“…You know, you did great out there tonight; they’d have been passed out in a pool of their own vomit at some point during the night anyway.” Phyllis joked about the less-than-stellar reception towards the band’s performance by the few disillusioned patrons strewn sporadically around the small restaurant. She matched their pace, soon casually falling into line and walking alongside them as if she belonged there. Because she definitely did. “But next time - next time will be better. I’ve already started looking into possibilities for the next venue. Just have to…make some calls, take some people up on a favor they owe me, and you’ll have eyes open and actually on you as soon as you get up there, this time.” She smiled.
Sometimes you need to fake it ‘til you make it. But she knew she had an eye for talent, even though, usually, others found her vision a little impaired. Actually making good on her word shouldn’t be that hard…

She slowly rose from her seat, her shocked, dumbfounded expression so intense it was almost comical. She cautiously stepped away from the unorganized chaos that sufficed as her working space, and began to approach Hedwig.
"Oh...it did? I-Is that...why you're as naked as the day you were born...?" She laughed nervously. As baffled as she was by Hedwig's appearance—or lack thereof—she was so relieved and delighted to see her again, and in simultaneously one piece.
As much as Phyllis wanted to run up to Hedwig and throw her arms around her and give her a much warmer welcome back, she was finding it a bit difficult to simply do so in her client's...state of non-dress. Even so, she hoped Hedwig could tell how ecstatic she was for her return.
“Y-Yeah, just a minute…”
Phyllis was trying desperately to concentrate on anything else than that she hadn’t heard from Hedwig since she’d told her she could no longer use her services after lashing out at her husband and his passport. While she did feel like Hedwig may have gone too far with her actions that day, maybe she had, too. It was like Hedwig had completely disappeared.
It was a bit delayed, but she took a moment to register the greeting, and didn’t think she would find what she did when she looked up to check she hadn’t only imagined it from stress and worry.
“H-Hedwig…?!” Her eyes widened.
Well…it sounded like her, anyway…

Hedwig arrived back at the motel room late into the night. She unlocked the door and leaned against the doorframe.
Phyllis was at the desk, going over…something and didn’t appear to notice Hedwig’s arrival.
“Guten Abend,” Hedwig said softly, paying little mind to the fact she stood completely naked in front of her manager.
