       She really wasn’t amused with his counter-sass.

             Kid or not, she’s partially used to this sort              of behavior. But as long as he could find              Henry and keep the rest of the town in line,              all while attempting to stay on Regina’s              good side, then all would be well with the world.              Hopefully.

                 “Somewhere----?”

                       The only two choices were his bedroom                        and his special hiding place at the beach,                        and the latter had already been torn down                        by Regina. Where could he be talking about?

                “That-- that’s great. Really.”

          “WELL, excuse me for being cautious, Buddy.”      Now now, Stan, no need to be rude, she’s      just looking for her kid, after all. He said       something about leaving a book somewhere,      said he had to go and grab it, might as well      tell her and not run the risk of having the kid      be taken from his Mother.           “Before you leave–He said something about            leaving it somewhere, didn’t catch quite where            left it, though.”

     “----Firstly, I’ve had a lot of people       lie to me lately, so I can never be       sure anymore. Secondly-- I don’t       think it works that way, pal.”

I see y'all there. Followin' from my OC. IIIIII'm watchin' youuuuu. Nah, I'm kidding, ily guys and welcome to whatever the hell this blog is. Suppose you can like for a thing, or something.

       “Yeah, well, I’m not one of those people, buddy.”

           Henry should have been a good kid,            he’d been raised by the mayor for            most of his life already up until more            recently. After lifting the curse off of            Storybrooke, though, things had            become increasingly difficult to figure            out for Operation Mongoose-- or Koala--            or whatever the kid’s operation name was.

                 “Great. If he left the book at Regina’s--

                     ---Thanks, though. I appreciate it.”

          “Allot of people who aren’t the parents            say ‘My Kid’ more often than you’d think.”      He hadn’t seen him-hadn’t seen many kids      asides from his class He hates people and      he didn’t want to, either. Wait, not that he      thought about it, he did, Henry. That kid,      fairly decent one.           “YEAH, he left my class maybe–ten minutes            ago, said he was gonna go read that storybook            of his.”

       “Kind of implied by the term ‘my kid’,         but yeah-- yeah, in all technicality         of the word, yeah, I am.”

               She hadn’t technically really been                the sheriff for very long, but it had                been long enough in that time combined                with her time as a bail bondswoman                that she knew how to deal with certain                types of people.

                      “You seen him or what?”

     The Sheriff, he knew she looked      familiar. She may be the Sheriff,       but he gave no fucks about any      authoritative figure, even the pr-      -esident.           “Let me guess, you’re his Mother,            right?”

        “Ahhh--- yeah, about that---”

         He may be a school teacher, but          she’s the sheriff of the town. Kinda          trumps teacher, in her opinion.

            “I’m looking for my kid. Twelve years old,              brown hair, probably lugging a big storybook              around?”

          “I’m afraid you’ve stumbled upon the            wrong office.”      Third one in a row-he may be a School      teacher, but having to explain how he’s      the History teacher, and not the principle      is getting annoying. Stan told him he      should’ve been placed more in the front.
