re: artimators ep 14 i still think the arrow bit from the sand castle part is so fucking funny. i completely forgot about it until i went back to editing

fucking up my one and only job, nobody on either team noticing, getting not one but two more chances by sheer luck, then getting praised by my team for a job well done might be the most me thing to ever happen. sums up my character in 60 seconds i think

Pearl calling herself a pathetic wet cat when she got fifth is so crazy. I don’t think she gives herself enough credit for what has actually resulted in her successes in the series. Her biggest strength in the life series has always been surviving, not killing, except for the very very end of Double Life and the murder camel rampage in SL. She has the highest average placement because she’s good at staying alive! She doesn’t do social game, she doesn’t do rampages, and she doesn’t need to do those to live. In a death game, because surviving is always the goal. Outlasting your opponents is just as valid a strat as anything else. Yes I know we all joked about how she was dying the most from the first couple wild cards, but when it gets down to it, she made her final couple lives count.
