i'm so fucking hyped for gratsu week!!!!!

So after a while here it comes again . Gratsu week is back yet again but this time it will start on the 16th of july (since it took a while to choose the prompts and make a post about it I decided to postpone it at least 6 days to give more time to participants to get ready )

so the prompts are :

hungry / cooking 

hot spring

as always each contribution is due on its date late participations are always welcome aaaand you can ,of course , contriute with anything : fanart , fanfictions , edits , headcanons …..

Thank you to @thessratestragedytouken ​ for the prompt! Here’s something short and fluffy, under 1000 words. I was planning to make it into angst, but that wouldn’t really be a welcoming first. Anyway, here we go~!

“everybody needs some rain in their life”

Erza woke up early.

She always did, even in mornings like these, when the usual warm rays of sunlight weren’t spilling down from her open window, and the bright azure sky was blocked by dark, heavy clouds. It looks like the weather forecaster was right, after all.

Getting up and stretching, the Requip Mage walked over to the vanity, not bothering to make her bed. She picked up a hair-brush that was sitting inside an open drawer and started to brush her flaming, scarlet hair.

She listened to the sound of the pouring rain outside, and Erza started humming a soft melody to a song that she forgot the lyrics to when her chocolate colored eyes caught a glimpse of something reflected on the mirror.

‘Is that…?’ Erza wondered, setting the hair-brush back down and making her way to the window, which was located directly beside her bed, her face and pajama clad chest getting flecked with water droplets that managed to blow themselves into the agape window. She placed her hands upon the windowsill and crawled unto the bed to take a better look.

A figure was dancing out on the backyard of Fairy Hills, their body a little bit blurred from all the rain. The person was still wearing their night clothes, which in their case was a yellow vest top and short denim shorts that were barely visible from Erza’s point of view.

The red-haired mage could barely hold back a sigh, who would dance in this weather? Not bothering to Requip into more appropriate attire, Erza grabbed a yellow umbrella from her bedside table, slipped on her flip-flops, and headed for the door. She made her way out of the bedroom, through a few hallways, down the stairs into the great hall, and finally out a door into the backyard.

She opened the umbrella and held it over her head as to not get soaked, the rain seemed to only get worse by the minute. Only after she walked a few steps into the wet, muddy ground did she realize that it was Juvia.

The Requip mage sighed and quickened her pace, stopping only when she reached the blue-haired girl. Was it raining because of her? Erza knew that it always rained whenever Juvia was sad or emotionally distressed, but how could the weather forecaster predict it…?

Although, she had to take a moment to take in the breathtaking sight.

Juvia appeared to not have noticed her, as her deep, navy blue eyes were closed. Her face was serene; peacefully relaxed, it was almost like she was sleeping. Her curvy body was twisting and turning gracefully, moving to the beat of a song only she could hear. Water danced around her form, flecks of the crystalline liquid bouncing off of her eyelashes and dripping off of her hair.

Juvia was… beautiful.

Magnificent, regal, amazing, gorgeous, awe-inspiring…? Erza couldn’t find the right word as she found herself falling deeper and deeper in love with the water mage. Without really knowing what she was doing, the scarlet-haired girl thrusted the umbrella forwards and shielded Juvia from the pouring rain, not caring about the fact that she was the one now getting soaked.

Juvia noticed the lack of dripping water almost immediately, and her eyelids snapped open to reveal her mesmerizing pools of crystal blue, the color of the deepest depths of the ocean.

“E-Erza-san!” She squeaked, her blue hair bounced as she jumped in astonishment. Erza gave her a lopsided smile. “Wh-What are you doing here?” The Water mage sounded nervous, and her fair skin flushed rose pink from the embarrassment of being caught red-handed.

“I could ask you the same thing,” Erza said sternly. “You’ll catch a cold out here, won’t you?” She dismissed the fact that she would most likely get a cold too, taking a step forward. Juvia winced, about to mumble an apology, when Erza decided to throw away all ounces of her natural instincts.

Her smile grew wider as her grip on the umbrella slackened, letting it fall to the muddy, grassy ground, taking Juvia’s hands in the process.

She begins spinning them around, and Juvia doesn’t take another moment to register what was happening as she clasps her fingers around Erza’s hands and goes with the flow, the umbrella lying forgotten at their feet. Their laughter resounded through the cold, July air, their voices warming each other’s heart. Their legs were spattered with mud, their feet beginning to numb, their heads beginning to spin, but the two could only care less.

They stopped only when Juvia stopped spinning, the heel of her foot making friction with the mud. Erza paused, giving her an amused, questioning look, which immediately turned to a look of shock when Juvia closed the gap between them.

It was a kiss of renewal, of newfound love, of emotions, and of happiness. Erza realized that it couldn’t possibly be Juvia causing all the rain… for she was with her, and she was happy. So happy, she could tell from the way the Water mage’s lips moved against hers enthusiastically, and Erza’s expression softened as she closed her eyes and kissed back.

Sharing a kiss in the rain wasn’t so cliché when Juvia was by her side.

Hours later, they would find themselves in Erza’s room, the both of them cuddled up against each other and suffering a mild fever, sneezing occasionally while holding cups of hot chocolate while the fireplace roared, emanating delicious warmth as Lucy scolded the both of them, but right now they just let themselves melt into each other’s touch.

For in this moment, they realized each other’s feelings.

And who would deny them the moment in which they could relish each other’s love?

Yes yes.

Juvia making cheesecake for Erza all by herself and from scratch, and it turned out horrible by the time Erza came back to Fairy Hills and found Juvia crying. Erza tried it, despite it’s horrid appearance, but it actually tastes really good so she ate the whole thing (Juvia was still crying while Erza ate it all).

Erza gets really pissed whenever it starts raining, because she assumes Juvia is sad or someone hurt her feelings. She’s gets like a rampage behavior throughout the Guild until Juvia explains that the rain is natural.

Erza likes bonding with Juvia in the baths and trying to get them to wash each others back and it makes Juvia freak out.

Erza is usually the big spoon, but sometimes Juvia gets all puffy and scrambles around until she’s behind Erza and practically plops on top of her. Once she gets to sleep, Erza snickers at how cute Juvia is.

Juvia is the only one who can never get attacked by Erza when she’s drunk. Erza sees Juvia as “precious cinnamon roll” and instantly cuddles up to Juvia. Juvia is extremely confused but lets Erza cuddle her anyway.
