Started my version of the 75 Soft today. Took their base of Food, Exercise, Water, and Reading, and added a few more items I wanted to work on. My goals for each day are: Wake up (aka GET OUTTA BED!) at 6, 7 or 9 depending on my schedule
Drink three of my water bottles
No Fast Food or Junk/Pop - doesn't include like restaurants, which I dont do much by myself anyways, or like, butter chicken or full meal items like that. Right now I still have a case of Diet Spritz Up left so Im going to allow that on weekends
Veggies for Supper
30-45 Minute Walk
10 pages of 2 books (a fiction and non-fiction preferably)
No Impulse Buys! (Oh bad I was getting bad at shopping in December)
15 Minute Clean Up
Take Vitamins
Use stupid CPAP Machine
and then each day I have a different thing to do, like listen to an album, or clean up my photos folder for a bit.
I couldn't sleep last night, so I stayed in bed today until 9:45, and Im a bit behind on my water drinking, but other than that today has been a success! Though I'm off this week, so the real challenge will be next week when I have to deal with work and my commute on top of everything.

So I have some life goals (one major one - IVF, as IUI wasn't succesful) that appears to be requiring me to attempt to lose some weight. Part of me is excited, I got my little checklist of tasks Im trying to do daily, got a new notebook and some pens and highlighters. But Im also kinda bummed that Im back doing this whole process AGAIN. Oh well. Here we go.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your messy home, and nothing you do seems to be making a difference, it just might be time to re-think how you look at cleaning. Most people, when faced with a messy disaster of a home, usually do one of two things:
1. Wait until it gets to the point of being completely unbearable and then clean everything in a whirlwind marathon and then consider it done; or
2. Decide it’s all too overwhelming and just give up entirely, only cleaning things that are needed for immediate use and ignoring everything else because where do you even begin when everything is so terrible?
Unfortunately, neither one of those approaches is particularly effective or sustainable. With marathon cleaning, your home ends up completely clean for a very short period of time, and then the mess accumulates until you reach your breaking point again. With avoidance, you never make any progress, and you continue to be frustrated and overwhelmed by your home all the time. But there is a better way. Rather than knocking yourself out doing it all at once or pretending the mess isn’t there at all, investing just a little bit of time every day (or, realistically, most days) will get you to a clean home that you can actually enjoy much faster than you’d think.
“A 20/10 is 20 minutes of cleaning followed by a 10-minute break”

It is time to tidy up, tidy up, tidy up
My house renos of 2016 are FINALLY almost finished. Just one last thing hopefully mom can take care of Tuesday so I don't have to wait for contractor #3 to come back. My house has been in chaos since August of last year. It’s a long weekend, my new couch is coming Tuesday, so I hope to get a bunch of cleaning done this weekend, allergies be damned! Here’s what I'm hoping to get done today: BEDROOM: Floors (pick junk up), sweep/mop, make bed, put drawers back in dresser, put clothes away BATHROOM: Clean bathroom things, sweep/mop floor, empty storage shelf, dust, go through bins, and then put them back with things logically separated. SPARE ROOM: Sweep floor ALSO: Clean kitty litter Towels - wash/dry/put away Dishs - put away stuff currently in dish washer, run a new load and also put those away Water plants (including ones outside) BONUS: Either clean off the table in the back room or the black shelf that I want to move into my room. Let’s see if I can get this stuff done before I crash for the evening.

I have been completely failing at all things adulting/humaning. I am awful at keeping my house clean. I eat way too much fast food. I never go to the gym. I don’t get nearly enough sleep during the week. I spend my weekends in bed or on the internet. I don’t hang out with people. My life is a bleh mess. Going to try and use this tumblr to help keep me accountable as I try and work on my life.
