Climate Change: Greatest Threat Against Humanity
Global Warming has become a serious topic over the many years. Climate change is real and it is crazy to think that there are so many people that think that Climate change is fake, including Donald Trump. Everybody is stuck up in an echo chamber where they think that Climate change is not real because somebody who has a status announces something like that on live television. Millions of Americans believe that their president, D. Trump, knows the facts when he is clearly ignoring the facts and figures because he is afraid of what will happen to him when proven wrong.
The Glaciers at the north and south pole are collapsing, the temperatures are rising and we, humans, are the main cause of this. We release so much CO2 that it is damaging the Ozone layer, which clearly means that more sun rays can enter the atmosphere increasing the temperature leading to catastrophic disasters. Furthermore, I think that animals and their habitats will differ over time because of the damage that we are doing. Animals have already gotten extinct and some will die sooner or later, for instance the great polar bear. So, for those people who say, “oh, let the world resolve this problem”, get a hold of yourself and think about what you said. It is clear that we are causing these problems. Start using less public transportation, less cars, more Electric Vehicles, less travelling. If everyone in the world were to stop doing these, there would be a huge change within 2-3 years.
This is a graph collected form the NASA organisation website and it shows the impact of vehicles and other objects have caused to the world. The temperature has a risen a lot and will continue to rise. Since 2000, 0.5, the temperature has risen nearly above 0.8. This is a huge change, even the slightest change in temperature will affect all sorts of living standards and will affect everybody life. If people really think that the world is fine and that the world will heal itself, honestly it wont. Your mind set is too much ecocentric and should be more Anthropocentric because we should help the earth.

COVID - 19: Is it beneficial to the world or not?
The COVID - 19 (Coronavirus) is a very dangerous virus as it contains similar symptoms as the Spanish Flu had in 1914. Many people consider this virus to be a bigger problem than it really is. It is only just a flu and yes, it can lead to death if one is not taken proper care of. Thousands of people have died due to this virus and most likely will continue to kill more people. Moreover, the Coronavirus has also impacted the environment very well because of many things such as:
- Due to Social Distancing, the coronavirus has temporarily decreased air pollution and brought more visibility to certain countries.
- Canals in Venice have become clearer and more fish can be seen.
- More water animals can be seen and are coming closer the shores. Dolphins in the balearic Islands have been seen jumping around.
The Coronavirus has also had a huge impact to the world regarding the life of Humans and their problems becoming immune to the virus. We have just reached up to 1,000,000 cases of infected people in the world. Older people have a worse immune system than younger people because they are not able to recover from being infected however, younger people are more likely to stay alive longer because we have an immune system that has not been alive for over 35 years. One could say that Corona has helped the world but others would say that it has impacted the world so negatively.
I honestly think that it is a good and bad thing.
People who are in relationships - lose their feeling with one another if they cannot see each other.
There can also be a loss in friendships
Less CO2 can be released and no air travels and car pollution can be done.
This was my POV towards the problem that COVID - 19 has towards our global existence.

Gun Control: Global
“https://gun-control.procon.org/“
Gun control is a very controversial topic to discuss as it can be perceived as more of a threat than other countries. In the EU it is rather illegal to have possession of any Gun if you have not gone to the Military service, which in this case is mainly for Switzerland.
I consider this here: “Proponents of more gun control laws state that the Second Amendment was intended for militias; that gun violence would be reduced; that gun restrictions have always existed; and that a majority of Americans, including gun owners, support new gun restrictions.”, an unrealistic behaviour towards the legalization of gun control. In America, children above the age of 16 are able to buy a gun but not yet drink or smoke is totally against the law. How does that make any sense?
In my own opinion, I believe that in the United States of America, people seem to be so worried about terrorism which is understandable but still does not want to lower the age of drinking and smoking which is just as dangerous for a young child to have the access of purchasing a gun.
The point being made is that people revolve around the idea of how “gun control” is a good thing but instead this could have a negative impact on everybody else and their countries and cultural beliefs. We are stuck in an echo chamber where everyone thinks that having a gun means that you are protected, it is not like that. You are putting yourself in danger and nobody should have access to guns. Only those people who risk their lives to fight for their country or those with a license deserve to own a gun. Nobody else should be allowed!

Drinking Age: 21 or Lower
https://drinkingage.procon.org/
The drinking age is determined differently depending on cultural beliefs and other aspects that contribute to alcohol consumption. The drinking age in the US is different than the drinking age in European countries. The US has a legal age of drinking at 21 whereas in European countries the age of drinking alcohol is at 18.
There are a lot of issues regarding the age of drinking in America as there are worse things that you get at a younger age. A lot of controversies has gone around the age required to purchase alcohol, where at the age of 16 a child can purchase a weapon. Purchasing a weapon at such a young age is far worse than purchasing alcohol. How is it, that in the world that we live in - we let children of the age of 16 be able to buy a gun and not alcohol?
How is buying Alcohol worse than buying a Gun at such a young age?
In America the legal age in which a person becomes an Adult is 18 and why is it that since they are an adult they still cannot purchase alcohol. When you turn into an adult you have to deal with taxes and other payments yet “ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION” is so bad.
Of course, there is the exception where children can have a glass of wine with their parents after the age of 16 up until 18 but, why can they do that and not purchase their own alcohol.
European countries allow children after the age of 16 to purchase normal alcohol such as, Beer, Champagne and other beverage that are not considered “hard alcohol”. However, they are allowed to purchase hard alcohol after the age of 18.
America, explain your reasons for these actions - why not have the same age limit as in the European countries?

Abortion: Yes or No?
Should it be allowed or not?
Abortion! Are you for abortion or are you against it!
Abortion is defined as the intentional ending of a pregnancy. (dictionary.Cambridge.org) The main idea of abortion is that women and their spouse get to choose whether they want to get rid of their child or not. It is important to follow and obey the law of, thou shall not murder which in this case refers to the child within the womb. However, the decision of having a child or not is without a doubt their own choice. There should be no law that you have to have the child within your womb and get to do what the person wants to do.
Amnesty.org has mentioned that people have abortions all the time, regardless of what the law has to say which in this case is not that big of a deal. There is already an overpopulation on earth, so why is it that we cannot abort a child from entering earth... once again? People always say that abortion is bad and should not be done but the majority of people on earth anyways complain about how many people there are and that it is starting to get overpopulated.
Another issue is the idea of teenagers who get knocked up and the man who did this just walks away and does not want to have the child. For somebody who is probably going to school and working to earn money for their child, that would be a catastrophic experience to deal with since the child is on the way at such a young age. Many teenagers are dealing with this more regularly than usual and it is affecting their lives a lot. How would this make you feel if you were in their shoes?
Two peer students of mine suggest that abortion is bad, why you may ask? This is her reason:
- You are murdering somebody!
- Killing innocent people is wrong in every manner
She says that she knew the consequences of having sexual intercourse with somebody at a young age and took the chance but yet she still got knocked up and ended having a child. She did not think that it would be bad to have a child. It is not considered her problem in the aspect of human population but rather in the responsibilities that she has. Another friend of mine also said that it is wrong because it is a human life and if that was you, some people would not be on earth this moment. It is morally wrong to take someone's life away therefore one should really think about the options at stake when dealing with pregnancy.

The Political Compass - Left and Right
After taking a survey regarding how I felt about the world and their problems at the moment, I received an answer towards where I stand in regard to being left or right-wing. I do not know how to feel regarding the position I was put in because I am still unsure as to how this affects my life. I was put at the economic scale at -4.13 and on the social scale at -2.72. I see that I am in some sense at the same view as Gandhi but still a bit off. However, my family is more to the right and seeing that I am on the left makes me feel like my family would not accept for the choices that I make. Tests like these are inaccurate in my opinion because what this does it put people in boxes that show a reflection of reality. It is just a bunch of people agreeing and disagreeing with information that does not really matter (to some extent). I could dangerous for us to choose who belongs in each box.
Totally do not agree where I stand...

Echo Chambers
An echo chamber: A situation in which people only hear opinions of one type or opinions that are similar to their own - Cambridge Dictionary
The main focus of these Blog posts of echo chambers will show the differences that certain sources have towards a topic. The topic could be political, educational, Sport, Abortion or many other controversial topics. The way certain information is shown to us is from their own personal perspective and not taking any of the reliable sources there are with statistical evidence of an issue to represent it. Sometimes the source can be misleading leaving one with false information.
This blog will talk about topics that are controversial and also topics that people are afraid to talk about due to judgement by others. Both sides of the topic will always be discussed to show which side I would rather prefer believing in.

Audi RS6 Avant 2020 - Comparison of Articles
carwow.co.uk & motor1.com
The comparison between both articles both has very similar information and specs of the car. This would include the release date for the car and also the estimated price of the vehicle, however, carwow.co.uk was posted on the 23rd of September and the article on motor1.com was posted on the 3rd of September.
The information of both articles may differ as to the information that may have been released or after the publication of the other article. Both article mention that the vehicle will have approx. 600hp with a beautiful set of twin-turbo V8 engines. On Carwow.co.uk they mention that the car will cost on average, in England, 90′000 pounds and in Germany, it will cost around 117′000 euros. The specifications of the car make me feel like this will be by far one of the best cars that Audi has ever produced, coming from the specification and overall design of the car. I learned that this car will make the driver feel like it is like a supercar but with 5 seats and enough space for a ton of luggage. It makes me feel excited to see what will come at the beginning of 2020 as to how the Audi RS6 will perform.
