“Well, there's stuff to look forward to, right? Like all the interesting things you get to learn!”
AP classes are the worst…and I’m like…am I really looking at four more years of this, four years of college, and two years of grad school. Holy shit.

Maya: It's fine. Not like I was smart enough to understand what you were saying, anyway. :)
Smackle: You are smart.
Smackle: Maya, you are very smart and I am so sorry for saying otherwise.

“Oh, okay.” Isadora said. She was about to ask another question, but was cut off by the bell. “I have to get to class,” she announced, “but I hope I can talk to you again.”
“Well, that sounds pretty good,” Isadora said. “Is there anything else you like to do, besides performing?”

“I’d be happy to show you,” Isadora said, smiling. “I’m sure the numbers will like you soon,” she joked.

“That sounds good,” Isadora agreed. She quickly looked through her binder for the last test they took. She wasn't sure if he had brought his copy, so it seemed easier to just find hers and have them both review from it.
“Ok, well we can obviously see what I didn't understand here,” she motioned to the red X’s on the incorrect answers, “but what questions did you have the most difficulty with?”
Isadora was slightly worried when she saw Levi walk in late with slightly wet hair. She didn’t know he was in swim, so she thought he might have been bullied or something. After he explained the situation however, she felt a lot calmer.
“That’s completely fine,” she said after he gave his excuse, “"What should we work on first?”

Isadora’s eyes practically lit up at Dom’s comment. She was getting used to most people thinking her passion for science wasn't “cool” or something. But Dom made it sound like it was! “You really think so?” She asked, grinning.

“I am very interested in science, and the academics of school,” Isadora answered.

“That sounded like it was going to be a lot of fun.”
“ So apparently, the whole “Harry Potter Go!” story was false, and never before have I felt so deceived. “

Ring. The final bell ending school on Thursday had rung very suddenly. Now that school was over, it was time for Isadora to meet Levi in the library for their study session. She had been looking forward to studying with him. It would only be helpful for both of them.
Isadora got up from her seat and headed towards the library. She had all of her study materials with her. She had notes drom the classes, colorful pens and highlighters, and a few of the textbooks. She found a seat in the library where the two of them could easily work together, and waited for him to show up.

“They said a lot of unfair things in that post, Farkle.”
“Really, what I do with my girlfriend is between us and that’s it…but we most definitely are not doing that...at least not yet. So, if everyone could stop talking about it, that’d be great.”

“I’m not really an artist. But I’ve been told I have pretty handwriting.”

Isadora smiled a little and introduced herself. “I'm Isadora. I don't think I've seen you around much.” She noticed the two drinks, and asked, “you didn't spill anything, did you?” She felt like a klutz, and didn't want to have made anything worse.
Isadora was having fun at the party. Sure, she hadn’t really gotten a chance to talk to her friends yet, and the music choice was very different than she was used to, and dancing was not her strong suit. But overall, she was having a great time at her first high schhol party.
It seemed like Isadora was a magnet for new people today. First Charlie, who she didn’t know very well, had asked her to dance. And now she bumped into this person as she was dancing. “I’m sorry,” she apoligized as soon as she realized what happened, “Are you okay?”

Smackle: Hey
Smackle: I'm really sorry with how I answered that question.
Smackle: I did not intend to say something that mean.
Smackle: I would like to apologize.
