The heart of the movie was the APO Hiking Society’s timeless classics. The too familiar romantic story of poor boy and rich girl still worked because the songs of APO (that encompass various themes and emotions) were strewn well in the story. Of course there were cheesy moments, but those moments won’t make you cringe. Instead, they would make you tap your hands and feet or bump your head in the air while hearing the songs of APO because they were that good.

The Bourne Legacy just had the right combination of action and suspense to be considered a good Bourne film. It may not be better than the original Bourne trilogy but what it has shown is enough to jumpstart the franchise.

"The Healing" is the latest horror masterpiece from acclaimed Filipino director, Chito Rono. It's able to top the list of recent horror movies with its cohesive plot, stellar acting, brilliant directing and editing, great visual and sound, and most importantly, solid suspense and thrills.
