As we already know, this version of Leonardo sometimes speaks or says words in Spanish, and the information is in its dubbing into Latin Spanish.

Here they encountered a problem, and that is that if they applied the classic method of when a character speaks another language, then change it (for example, if he speaks Spanish, change it to English or vice versa) But the essence of the character was going to be lost, so this detail was erased by at least 50%.

There are phrases in the original language like: "Vamonos hermanos", "Adiós hueso", In these, there is no noticeable allusion to the aforementioned detail that Leo spoke Spanish, nor is there any noticeable change in it.

On the other hand, in the episode where they go to the pirate ship and where he interrupts Big Mom's auction, so to speak, you can notice the reference to the change of language, Since here Leo sometimes uses a Castilian accent, Also this chapter (the one with the pirates, I forgot the damn name ajajaja) when Leo says: "Hermanos" , this was changed to "brothers"

There are other phrases like:"Muy rápido" or etc., the dubbing actor makes them very articulate, making it seem as if Leo wants to exaggerate or something like that 🤸🏻✨.

And it can be said that this is how the problem was solved, in addition to the fact that being a Spanish speaker myself I like to listen to both versions, Plus, the voice actor did very well. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

My completely schizophrenic opinion on Tmnt themes

[I have nothing else to do like this, so I decided to watch the ROTTMNT series for the 999th time and give my opinion on crazy things]

One thing I found really interesting about Rise was how it handled Leo and Donnie’s dynamic. Unlike other versions where there's little to no tension between them, here there’s a kind of subtle rivalry, more based on ego and intellect than on emotional conflict.

Leo is more charismatic, laid-back, and impulsive; Donnie is logical, sarcastic, and a perfectionist. They constantly clash because both think they're the smartest in the room, and that leads to some really fun moments. It’s not a deep or aggressive rivalry, but it’s a steady tension masked by humor.

But the real clash comes from their internal thoughts:

Leo: "Without them, I'm nothing."

Donnie: "If mystical powers do what technology can and better then why do they even need me?"

That's where you realize to a certain extent that both of them have that fear, of being useless to their team.

And although we can also say that Raph also felt that way, rather his was the fear that something would go wrong (he literally said it in the movie)

And I don't know, I like how their brotherhood here is strong but sometimes they can't stand each other, yet they both looked alike, even if it's a little hard for them to say it 💜💙

I'm not saying they hated each other the whole series, but at times they made tremendous innuendos 🤸🏻✨
