Shoutout to aros that don't know if or how they feel romantic attraction. Shoutout to aros that definitely feel romantic attraction at some point in some way. Shoutout to romo aros and shoutout to aros who see having a partner of some kind as important to their life goals. Shoutout to aros that aren't ace. Shoutout to aros that enjoy romance and nevertheless experience romantic attraction differently than alloros do.
Just a big ol' shoutout to aro ppl that don't relate to the restrictions that uneducated and alloro ppl may project onto the aromantic label, because they don't understand that aromantic is a spectrum. You are aro enough, and your experiences with attraction and romance are not alloro!
I am giving you big hugs if you like hugs, and a big serving of your favorite refreshing beverage if not!

Posting a little summary post for all the pride birds in the flock so far. I may be adding to my collection later as there are soooo many pride flags so let me know if there is a flag you’d like to see. The LGBTQIA+ community needs your support right now. Check in on your queer flock and make sure they are doing ok, donate to queer orgs and queer folks, contact your representatives in support of lgbtqia+ protective legislation. To the other colorful birds out there I see you and love you and wish you well. 💖🤍💙🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I’m curious - people always seem surprised that multiple siblings are queer, as if it’s amazing the gay lightning struck twice so close together.
But human variation is down to our genes and external factors. Siblings are logically more likely to both/all be queer than not.
So a wee poll if you don’t mind!
Anyone can take part, there should be an option for anyone but please let me know in notes if I missed anyone.
For reference: queer is anyone who wouldn’t describe themselves as heterosexual or cis-gendered or allo-sexual. Anyone we would include in the queer group. And if you’re not including people by their own identification, we can have words after…
Notes:
If you only have one sibling use the relevant all option.
If you have an issue with the word queer I truly don’t want to hear about it - that’s your choice, this is mine.
Reblog if you fancy! If you don’t then no worries, but if you can it would be nice to get a lot of replies!
And hey everyone, happy Pride!

i love you closeted queer people, i love you queer people who are afraid to "look queer", i love you queer people who hate getting told things like "you ping my gaydar" because that's scary, i love you queer people who are terrified of being outed, i love you queer people who don't fit the narrow tiktok/tumblr idea of what queer looks like (ESPECIALLY if you're disabled and/or a poc and that's part of why you don't), i love you queer people who rely on queerphobic family to survive, i love you queer people who find it hard to joke about their sexuality/gender, i love you queer people with a complicated relationship to being queer

For my first Pride knowing myself a little better, I wanted to make a post here. To all questioning folks out there, whether they're questioning their gender identity or their sexual orientation.
I came out as an asexual person last december. It was kind of a one-day self-discovery ride. I asked a friend of mine about their experience as an asexual person and so many things clicked with me so I literally came out the same day. If that's your case, too, hey, it's valid. Although I had been having doubts for some months by then, it was a one-day decission.
Since then, I have kind of lost the confidence I had in the first place. I have begun questioning my orientation more and more. But I'm being kind with myself and going one step at a time. I will find who I am one day, but until then, there is nothing wrong with being questioning. It's absolutely valid.
And I feel like that's not talked about enough.
Questioning is a valid label. It is great to be questioning; it means you're giving yourself time to know you. There is no hurry, okay? Go at your own pace. Whatever is the outcome, I support you, even if we don't know each other. You turn out to be just straight? Hey, that's okay! Questioning and realizing you were straight all along is not wrong, is totally fine. Now you know yourself a little bit better and you have more confidence in your identity! You turn out to be under the aroace umbrella? Fine! Wanna share a piece of cake with me? Or maybe you could teach me how to shoot arrows! Are you an enby? Cool! Nice to meet you, enby pal! You're cis? Nothing wrong with that! More cis people should be questioning their identity even if they end up being totally cis!
Questioning is not just about finding something that fits, it's about self-discovery! It's a beautiful, although scary, journey towards being more you!
And I want to share something with you all. As I've been questioning different parts of my identity and I've been obssesed with Steven Universe lately, I've created a flag with two particular palettes to represent how I see myself while I'm questioning. How I'm starting to see human beings in general!
We are experiences. We should make sure we are good experiences, don't you think? So go, and find yourselves! Whoever you end up being, we have your back!

[A series of gifs of pride flag colored hearts. In each gif, a series of concentric heart shapes progress such that the inner hearts get bigger and a smaller heart shows up inside them, and the outermost/biggest hearts progress out of the frame. Each heart outline is colored in a single color, and the orders of them form pride flags.
From top to bottom, left to right, the flags are: rainbow, trans, lesbian, gay man, bi, Pan, non-binary, genderqueer, asexual, and aromantic
End of description]
yo i made these gifs based on this video also i’ve seen some similar ones around but i wanted to make my own. feel free to use or something

Wanted to make myself a cute Asexual pride sticker. I really liked how it turned out so I’ll probably make an Aromantic one next!
