SEON SHOOK HIS hand with a warm smile, wanting to laugh at how formal his words came out but decided against it. “i’m seon, it’s a pleasure to meet you. you’ve gotten extremely close to me over the few minutes and i think you should be proud of yourself.” finally letting his hand go after realizing he was holding it from their shake. rubbing his neck as he pursed his lips in thought, “it’s not like i don’t want to go, because i would love to travel. money is an issue and work is tying me down from exploring.” juggling being a dj and an artist always made him tired and extremely lazy on the days he had off. “hm, my dazzling personality should be more than enough for a second visit. who knows…you might miss me.” he joked. “of course i’ll create something different from my original party stuff, but it would be hilarious if i played one of my club mixes and your older members got uncomfortable.”
“THE PLEASURE’S ALL mine, trust me.” He continued shaking the other’s hand for a few seconds too long, not quite realizing how much time had passed until Seon had pulled his hand away. “I’m very proud of myself. You make it seems as thought that’s not an easy feat, so I’ll take that knowledge and cherish it forever.” Judas knew that on some level, he probably sounded a little bit too formal, but he couldn’t help it. After spending so much time in a formal business setting, it was hard to drop that pretense. Maybe over time he’d become more relaxed with his new acquaintance. “I hope you get the chance to go someday. You’d love it. You deserve the opportunity to experience it at least once.” He snorted out a laugh at his joke. “Yeah, you’re right. That dazzling personality of yours is enough to draw anyone in.” He quirked up an eyebrow. “Ha, don’t tempt me. I might just ask you to do that.”

❝ cannot , ❞ the word slips off of his lips with ease as the corners of his lips curl into a teasing grin , accepting the flicker on his forehead once more . afterwards , he rubbed his forehead just a bit , even if for the sake of the image that he was hurting . but then again , judas much has been used to it by now ; his childish reputation and all . after all , the male was so comfortable with the other that he could even go as far to say that he thought of him as a brother — family . ❝ you know , that’s how i’m going to get your one day . ❞ he raised a finger and pointed at the other , with what seemed like a mystery hidden behind caramel hues and crimson stained lips , ❝ your lack of confidence in me is going to bite you in the ass one day ! ❞ although eunwoo sounded confidence , features proving so as well , the younger male was anything but . ever since he was a kid , he was absolutely harmless . if it wasn’t for his family’s status , he’s sure he would have been picked on in grade school . his eyes dipped close as he felt his fingers in his hair , a soft laughter flowing past his lips as he laughed , slender fingers fixing the stray strands of hair afterwards . ❝ probably . ❞ he drops with a shrug of his shoulders , ❝ they’ll never step foot in jinhae so at least i’m doing a pretty good job at avoiding them . ❞ he says with his lips pursed out , his family would never step foot in this city , mumbling how it was nothing compared to the streets of paris , singapore or their villa in kyoto , japan ; all the business that was done in jinhae was through their manager . but for eunwoo , this … smaller yet just as bright city was everything he’s always wanted , it was home . ❝ that sounds like an invitation for 4am chicken and ramyun , ❞ he says with a wiggle of his eyebrows before grabbing a few two mini trays of noodles , handing one over to judas and one for himself . the younger male doesn’t waste a second as he takes a bite , drinking in the flavours of the lime and the spiciness of the dish .
judas sees a lot of himself in eunwoo, and on some level he knows that’s why he spends so much time with him and that’s why he cares about him. he can’t think of any other reason why he would. eunwoo reminds him of what he would have turned out if he wasn’t forced into the gang life at such a young age. if he had been given the choice of having a normal childhood rather than being pushed into filling his father’s shoes. it’s sort of bittersweet, but more so sweet. he doesn’t resent eunwoo for his retained innocence or youth. he sees his friendship as a way to protect him from being tainted and as a way of being able to live vicariously through him. would he be going out visiting foot carts after midnight with anyone else? nope. he would’ve most likely laughed in their face before hanging up the phone and going to bed. “oh, you’re going to get me one day, are you?” he chuckles, smiling fondly at the younger male. “you’re cute, eunwoo. you’re going to make somebody very lucky one day, you know that right?” he asks, and he truly believes that. he can’t wait to see that day for the other. he deserves it. he deserves all the happiness, because that’s all he puts out into the world. “are you dating anyone right now? you should be. people shouldn’t be missing out on this greatness.” he hums softly, nodding his head in understanding. “well, at least you won’t have to deal with them anytime soon, but you’re going to have to deal with them one day, eunwoo. and you can’t run or hide from them forever, unfortunately.” he rolled his eyes at him wiggling his eyebrows, before taking the little tray of noodles and taking a bite.

SHE NODDED, LIPS pressing together in a thin line as hana decided maybe dropping the topic would be good idea. what had happened to her was wrong but hana wasn’t blameless in this situation, she’d allowed it to happen and she needed to learn from it. “i won’t think of you like that,” she assured, not really knowing if he cared or not about her words but she still felt like she should say them. “you’ve been nothing but kind to me and i hope you let me pay you back when i’m capable of supporting myself. i’mhana by the way, have i already told you my name? i can’t remember, my head hurts.”
JUDAS LAUGHED QUIETLY, shaking his head. “You don’t know me well enough to make that decision yet, kid. If you did, you’d probably think the same as everyone else. One good deed does not a good person make.” He frowned slightly at the mention of payment, and immediately began shaking his head. “No, I don’t think so. You’re not paying me for being a good person. I’m not about to let you reward me for doing something a decent human being should do.” Judas’ frown was replaced with a smile at her introduction, and he looked down at her. “I’m Judas, it’s nice to meet you, Hana.”

“At least I can change my hair you’re stuck with those features on your face.” Taewoon shrugged. “I’m sure nothing that comes out of your mouth just slipped.” He scoffed. “Why have you thought about this so much? Get a life, Judas.” The teal haired man rolled his eyes. “I am constantly fucked for months anyway. That’s my whole life.” Taewoon offered. Well it sort of felt that way with Judas by his side. “At least ever since I’ve known you.” He teased with a smirk. The dedication Judas put into thinking about Taewoon covered in paint was almost commendable if it wasn’t so sad. “I’ll buy new clothes stupid.” He deadpanned as he shot Judas a look of disbelief. “I give myself all the credit and more, thank you.” He muttered sarcastically. Taewoon reached out and pinched at Judas’s neck then. It was the only place he knew would hurt enough. “Please don’t ever call me a bro again. I don’t abide by straight bro talk like you clearly seem to. Shut up.” Taewoon scolded. “You’re literally the worst friend I’ve probably ever had.” His voice raised as he pointed at the other. “Knock my teeth out? Okay tough guy.” Taewoon rolled his eyes but couldn’t help but laugh. “Because Judas, I’m not trying to be your step mother.”
“Stuck with is kind of harsh, especially when I’m as good looking as I am. And that comment was completely an accident, trust me. Why would I lie? If I said it on purpose, I wouldn’t have apologized for it. You know I don’t say sorry unless I mean it. Don’t get all pouty on me, Tae-Tae,” he teased, a smirk on his lips as he looked at the younger male. “But you don’t want to be even more fucked than usual, do you? That wouldn’t be good. But hey, at least your life won’t be boring. You should be thankful that I’ve come into your life. People would kill for a friend as awesome as me. Face it - I’m one of the best friends you’ve got. Notice how I didn’t say the best friend. See? I’m not completely vain and self centered.” When he pinched his neck, he immediately punched him in the arm. “I didn’t call you bro, I said you have a bro boner for me. There’s a difference. Straight talk?” He snorted. “Don’t know what that is, but okay. The worst? Now you know you’re just lying to yourself.” He held out his hand, offering his cigarette to the other. “Just because I’m nice to you doesn’t mean I’m nice to everyone else. I grew up around people who shot you if you looked at them for too long, so knocking someone’s teeth out for taking my cigarette is pretty tame, if I do say so myself. I’ve gotten a real handle on my anger issues.” He scoffed, giving him a look. “My step mother? If my father even got the slightest idea that’s what you were gunning for, he’d cut your balls off. He’s the biggest.. He’s not openminded, we’ll just say that.” He frowned slightly, looking out towards the window.

yoon-kangmin:
There was a moment where Kangmin thought over the other man’s question before he shrugged. “I’d like to think so,” he said, nodding thoughtfully. But when Kangmin realized he was here for a membership, his smile widened considerably as he held a finger up and ducked behind the desk. Resurfacing with a detailed sheet full of possible membership plans, he nodded. “So, what kind of goals do you have for your membership? Are you looking to build muscle, endurance, improve mental health or nutrition planning?”
“Yeah, you seem like it.” He didn’t mean it as an insult in the slightest, it was just how things came out for him. “I don’t really need to do any of those things. I’ve been working out for the past fifteen years give or take, so I only need to work on maintaining what I already have. I just need a place where I can work out for a few hours everyday. Which membership is the best for that?”

EYEBROWS FURROWING, HANA looked down at the ground as she tried to walk in a straight line without relying on him too much. she was thankful for the help but she didn’t want to irritate him by not being able to look after herself. “no, you’re right,” the girl murmured, nodding her head. “it’s wrong of me to defend him, i guess i haven’t come to terms with all of it yet.” sighing, hana tried her best to put a smile on her face. “why would they say that?”
MAYBE JUDAS’ BRUTAL honesty wasn’t exactly needed in this situation, but he figured it was the best way to get it through to her. Sometimes people needed a little bit of tough love to realize things, and this was one of those times. “It’ll take a while for you to come to terms with all of it, but when you do, you’ll see that none of it was your fault. And that you shouldn’t take the blame or feel guilty in the slightest.” He chuckled softly. “Maybe because on some level, it’s true.”

“ by like, two inches, maybe. you’re an ass. ” that wasn’t news to him though, so why was he even surprised? “ i will deal with nothing, you bully ! ” gus huffed dramatically, before fixing his laces into a double knot. “ i’ll believe that when i see it and i’d hate for you to get your hopes up on that, you know ? ”
“Two inches make a whole lot of difference. Just ask anyone who likes taking dick.” He rolled his eyes at his dramatics. “I don’t see why I hang out with you when you do nothing but bitch and complain. I can’t wait to see how much you complain after I kick your ass in this run. I don’t have to get my hopes up when it’s already going to happen.”

RAISING HIS EYEBROWS in shock before blinking a few times to let his words sink in, “i feel like you completely get me and that’s weird since people barely understand me or my decisions.” more like they never tried to understand him since he doesn’t look like the smartest person in the world. seon shrugged, not seeing the problem with not educating himself more on american terms. “i never saw the point since i won’t go overseas anytime soon, it would be a waste.” a small pout formed on his plumb lips as he brought his cup up to his mouth to finish the drink. “hm, well you’ll get to see me plus, i’ll be playing a whole new set.” he winked. “what kind of events are we talking about?”
JUDAS COULDN’T HELP but smirk at the other’s shocked expression, a soft chuckle leaving his lips as he waited for him to respond. “Well, that’s a good thing. I’m glad that even though we just met and don’t know each other’s names, we’re better acquainted than you are with most people.” He reached his hand out expectantly, waiting for the other to shake it. “I’m sorry for not introducing myself sooner, how incredibly rude of me. I’m Judas.” He cocked his head to the side. “Why wouldn’t you be going overseas? It’s a very interesting place to visit. Lots of new things and different people. It’s a bit of a culture shock, but I’m sure you’d be able to adjust just fine.” He smiled. “I guess that might be enough to get me to come back. Anything else you can promise me to ensure my return? And events like fundraisers, parties. You know, things like that. We could use fresher music, because between you and I, I’m tired of the dry ass orchestras the older members of my company keep insisting upon.”

the only reason san is more familiar with judas as being referred to as hyunseok is for the sole reason that his grandparents, especially his grandfather, talk about judas as their own grandson. singing constant praise of the older male’s business intuition. perhaps it’s where san’s hatred comes from. being compared to judas, and never being good enough. san rolls his eyes at judas’ comment, another scoff rolling off his lips as if he’s bored. “ that’s because they’ve got you wrapped around their little finger, ” he quips back, blindly defending his family despite his moral compass. “ it doesn’t take a gun to rule. if you truly think you’re special to them, you’re just as daft as all the other skinhead brutes, in which case you have my pity. ”
“Think what you want, San. ecause guess what? At the end of the day, guess who can really pull the plug on all of this? Me. If I wanted to, I could have your grandparents ruined and get away with my name cleared. No connection to me whatsoever.” He flicks his cigarette ashes in the younger male’s direction. “It doesn’t take a gun to rule, no. It takes strategy, intelligence, patience and subtlety. All of which you obviously lack. A gun just helps get rid of people who grate on my nerves.”

“PETA is trash, why would I care about their opinion?” Taewoon rolled his eyes.”Besides I’m sure they’d just throw red paint on me or something, nothing too serious.” He shrugged. He was only slightly exasperated by the other’s jokes. He liked how he looked and the opinions of other’s shouldn’t bother him but Judas always did get under his skin so quickly. Taewoon hissed as the other tugged at his hair and he shot him an annoyed look. “You got used to me? Don’t act like I’m not a great friend and person to be around. You really don’t love my face in your presence? Everything that comes out of my mouth is wonderful.” He sighed dramatically. Of course Taewoon knew must of the things he spouted was absolute bullshit, did that stop him? Of course not. “I’m sure you don’t, but you can keep telling yourself that.” He snorted. “Seeing past a pretty face is not a talent, don’t put that on your resume.” Taewoon warned. “Where do I love you? I would rather be set on fire than ever partake in love for you.” That was a little much. Taewoon quickly reached out and grabbed Judas’s foot and shook his head. “No, sharing is caring. Be nice to me.” He frowned. “I’m proud that like a teenage girl, you’ve found your confidence. I don’t care however.” He rolled his eyes. “You did? I wish I did.”
“Trash, just like your hairstyle.” He covered his mouth. “Sorry, that one just slipped out. My bad.” Judas laughed at the thought of someone throwing red paint on on the other male, the image very much alive in his mind. “Yeah, that wouldn’t be very fun to get off of you. I’m sure they’d use the heavy duty, quick drying paint too. Damn, man, you’d be fucked for like a month. Even if you do scrub all the paint off, it’s going to leave a red residue on your skin for the longest time. And you won’t even be able to save those clothes.” If Judas were being one hundred percent honest, while Taewoon’s clothes and hair choices weren’t his taste, not by a long shot, he had grown used to them on the other male. To the point of him not really being able to notice them. But he still made a point to make fun of him for it. “Yeah, I got used to you. Don’t give yourself too much credit, Taewoon.” He rolled his eyes, but it wasn’t like he really needed to say that it was true. He was fond of Taewoon, definitely more fond of him than he was of most people. “Everything I do is a talent. I’ll go get you a match then, because it’s obviously that you’ve got a huge bro boner for me. It’s okay, I don’t blame you. I’m a pretty great friend.” He yanked his foot out of his grasp. “I am being nice to you. Did I know your teeth out for taking my cigarette the first two times?” He snorted. “Let’s just hope that one day you can reach the level of confidence a teenage girl has, Taewoon. Hm, why don’t you talk to him?”

ofcjiyong:
Excuses were called excuses for a reason and Jiyong was not going to protest or try to correct anyone who helped him out especially in this situation. He wasn’t going to admit it but he was desperate for help away from the girl. He loved girl a lot…. but teenage girls who screamed a lot just weren’t his type or person in general that he wanted to be around. People whispered about his good looks before he became a know actor so he was used to all the comments, but people actually coming up to him? well that was an different story all together. “Rehearsal… Right!” He plays along following without hesitation. “Can’t be late to that.” He said a goodbye to the girls who surprising let him out without an issue after being told about some rehearsal. Jiyong was sure people would be talking about said ‘rehearsal’ within the next hour. News spread fast when fangirls got hold of something new. “Thanks man.” Jiyong said, feeling much more relaxed than he did a few minutes earlier.
Any other time, Judas would’ve left the younger male standing there, eyes begging for help, but he was in a particularly good mood that day. Good enough to go out of his way to help a stranger, despite that stranger being famous. “You’re welcome.” He shrugged off the gratitude, not really expecting or wanting it. It wasn’t like he had risked his life for him. Although, those girls were pretty rabid. He was sure that if he looked at one of them the wrong way, he would end up with his face ripped off. He chuckled slightly at the thought. “Aren’t you supposed to have security or something with you at all times? Isn’t that one of the rules of being a celebrity?” He asked conversationally, allowing his hand to drop from the other’s shoulders as they walked farther and farther away from the group of girls.

“SOMEONE I CONSIDERED a friend,” she replied quietly, ashamed of her own actions. “it wasn’t entirely his fault though, i was at fault too but i know now to just watch out for people.” kihyun was helping hana to become stronger and she had various friends helping her with improving herself and learning to say no. “it’s all sorted now though.” looking up at him, she couldn’t take her gaze off of him. “what about you? are you kindhearted? you seem it because you’re helping me.”
“WELL, HE OBVIOUSLY was no friend of yours if he took advantage of you like that while you were in a defenseless state. Or even if you weren’t inebriated or had your guard down in some way, shape or form, they still had no right to do that to you.” He scrunched up his face. “And you’re defending him? Men like him don’t deserve to be defended. They deserve to be punished.” He couldn’t stand people that preyed on other people. Especially people like this girl he was taking care of. “A lot of people would say that I’m not.”

yoon-kangmin:
Nothing was quite as fun as being at work. Kangmin loved the feeling of watching people push themselves and work to get what they wanted. It was inspiring. And probably more than anything, he loved greeting members and new comers who walked through the front door. “Hey there! Welcome!” he said, offering a bright smile as he worked the front desk. “What can I do for you?”
The brightness at which he was greeted was a little bit of a shock to Judas, and he frowned slightly, before quickly recovering. “Ah, hello. Thanks for the welcome.” He offered the man at the front desk a smile. “Are you always this cheerful?” He asked, his smile turning into one of amusement, before nodding. “I was wondering if I could get some kind of membership here or something.” His previous gym had shut down and he needed to join a new one as soon as possible.”

THE EQUIVALENT OF what could have been a modern day pterodactyl screech erupted from her lips as she tossed the controller onto her bed and moved to sit with her legs pulled up to her chest, murder in her eyes as she glared at the screen. the glowing ‘you died’ on the screen mocked her, reminding her of her foolishness as it waits for her to either rage quit or continue on. navi was ninety nine percent sure that if she tried one more time, any sanity left inside her mind would be eaten away. dark souls three could go fuck itself.
“three hours. it took me, like, three hours to finally beat this boss. and what do i do?” she asks, the question clearly rhetorical as she looks over at the other was chilling out with her (though the term chilling, when it came to navi, was now questionable). “i finally beat it. only to… fall down.. a flight of stairs.. and DIE. on. the. way. to. the. save. point. “ each word was emphasized with growing misery, her hands moving up to push her hair up and away from her face. she craved death. in this very moment, she craved death. [ @anyone ]
JUDAS RARELY FOUND himself enjoying video games. He never had, even when he was a child. He just found them boring and decided not to play them. And the few times he had, had frustrated him to no end, especially when he couldn’t properly beat a round or level up in the game. But watching other people play? He could do that all day. There was nothing more amusing to him than seeing someone lose their shit because they lost a game. That must’ve been why so many people watching gaming tournaments. So they could see people fall apart like this.
“Hey, would you have rather spent three hours any other way?” He asked rhetorically, looking over at her. “I don’t really know what to tell you.. Maybe try harder next time?” It was obvious that he was joking - she had been trying her best for the past three or so hours.
