Link: Life was starting to make sense but then there was a fucking mummy beneath Hyrule castle for some reason.

Link is sitting by the cooking pot outside enjoying the heat it's giving off trying to ignore the pain it's causing him while it is true that Rauru did replace their hand with their own that doesn't mean he can't still feel the gloom digging deeply into his arm attacking it and sometimes causes him darker thoughts.

Upon being confronted ,He says nothing to be polite Link briefly glances at them and slowly nods only to acknowledge them then looks away not comfortable to speak to just any stranger who speaks to them.

Given the current happenings at this point Link is pretty much at this point ready for more bizarre things that may transpire!, all sorts of monsters have popped up all around Hyrule he's even been attacked by trees.

Everything since the Castle somehow rose to the air, shifted upside down, from floating landmarks in the sky to all sort of treacherous phenomenons, including what the Zoras were dealing with.

Needless to say, the Domain was not as pristine as its known for and with all that wretched mud, not only were they short handed to defend the place in case of anything but supplies had grown scarce. It was especially difficult to seek provisions since merchants were warned to not go traipsing around the Zoras territory with how roads became even hazardous.

Amidst the still standing Zoras tending to the mud-struck and making sure some sources of water remains unsullied, Celes had long decided to handle cooking duty with whatever was still available, without wasting too much.

Its only then, did she caught glimpse of a familiar face, likely drawn by the smell of what was in the cooking pot by the Inn.

''Good to see you again'', she would atleast say to Link, in spite of noticing his arm.

Zelda nods wordlessly she's right she most focus upon her own task as much as it breaks her heart to not be able to go Link it's first time she's seen him since falling down here to this world below the clouds, and to think she once playing the goddess was just some silly thing to play after the race.

Slowly she turns around then stops and looks over her shoulder, she must learn more now she doesn't even try to hide the utter grief in her voice. " I---i have to go. I'm sorry Link."

" Please be safe Link. There is nothing more then i want to rush to you and fling my arms around you right now, but i can't... i am so sorry. I will see you again soon..... i hope." Those are the unspoken words upon her lips

Then she fully turns around and walks through the divinely golden portal to be sent ahead to learn more about the role she will play in this destiny.

" I am ready." Zelda says softly. She's been deeply homesick ever since this quest begun every moment she's tried so hard to remain focused upon the task in front of her which was her own destiny but her heart longs to be soaring in the sky once again missing Link and wanting to be by his side once again. She's still a little bit half waking up from unconsciousness. She looks to Groose and offers him a look that says ' i will be okay.' which is all he could ask for considering that he did save her from certain death. Then she looks back to Link. The sound of the tiny birds chirping reaches Zelda's ears, what a wonderful world this is it's so much more then she's ever known initially based off of the stories she's been told.

Zelda is unconscious in Groose's arms then slowly wakes and slowly blinks the first thing she sees is him Link, a soft smile spreads across her face she knew he could do it he has saved them all. " Good morning.... again Link. " one thing is for sure, she is beyond ready to go home to Skyloft and see her father once again.

Link hadn't removed himself from Zelda's side after Demise had finally fallen. No matter how tired he felt. He worried for her. However, he was happy she was safe and when those eyes opened as he walked beside Groose, he smiled back at her with a bit of affection.

"Good morning, princess." He said with a bit of joy in his tone. "Ready to go home? I'm sure Akash would love to see you." He hoped the flight home wouldn't be too much of a trip for her. If it was, he would take her home himself. "Or do Brigid and I need to give you a lift?" He teased her here just a little.

Zelda looks from Link then downward over the edge of the sky island, what else is out there outside of their home? it's said that there's nothing below the sky on the surface it's nothing more then charred barren land no life so it's said. " Do you mean the surface?, so it's said that world is no more then a completely charred barren land land burnt by evil forces that broke free from a fissure one dark day in search of an ultimate power that can make any desire become a reality. I wonder about that too Link." Then turns her attention back onto Link with a smile that's like the sun above the two of them gentle blue eyes like the sky. " Or are you talking about the sky? after all it is boundless."

" Hey Link!" Zelda calls out, she knew they'd find him here most likely their favorite sky island to be together alone on where they can talk for hours without being interrupted. Landing Akash upon the island she gets off and sits down next to him. " What are you dreaming about now? " she loves to hear about them Zelda just sit besides him and listen for hours endlessly just listening to Link talking about their dream, he's such a dreamer and it's one of many of her favorite things about him.

Link had been relaxing on his own within the islands of the sky, a particular island that only a few knew and that very few was one princess. With that being said, he heard the very woman his head was lost in the clouds over.

A light blush dusted his cheeks but, he motioned her over till she'd plopped down beside him as he smiled lightly at her. He couldn't believe it sometimes that Zelda had chosen him to talk to and socialize with. After all everyone had called him lazy for his fantasy dreams of another place out there other than Skyloft.

Today, he was going to have to whip a damn good lie because he'd been thinking about finding those things with Zelda together.

"Wondering what else is out there..outside of our home." That wasn't a lie but the other factor wasn't in there.

" Perhaps i can help you Zelda figuring it out. " Link says thoughtfully. He is no master when it comes to destiny and prophey no the princess is far more knowledgeable in these things but what he does know is that they are pretty good with clues and figuring out context.

To be back in Hyrule at last after their search for Navi is more of a warm feeling then he expected Impa missed him it's like coming home not the reaction he thought he'd be met with upon returning after all of this time. Link remembers it as if it were yesterday that Zelda told him about the dream she had about the dark clouds billowing over Hyrule then the ray of light and the spiritual stone of the forest and now she's having dreams like that again it seems can't be good. Last time things worked out in their favor but could Ganondorf return? Anything is possible that is what Link bealives and if he does then he just knows it this time he wouldn't let themselves loose again.

Even still, it felt good to have a moment of adventure. Of excitement, exhilaration. She wanted to be most assured that she'd be safe, it was only natural to request her most trusted companion accompany her. It wasn't that Zelda couldn't defend herself, quite the opposite. However, she also knew that with numbers came greater strength. That, and, she wanted to spend some time with the man who was her best friend.

"Truth be told, I have been having these strange dreams lately. I do try not to put too much faith in them, but they are becoming a common occurrence, I am unsure whether to believe they are prophecy, or otherwise. Something telling me I have a great task ahead of me. The rest is unclear."

One minute Zelda is flying around skyloft with Link on their loftwings he just won the race and is now one step closer to achieving full knighthood it's such a beautiful day then a black tornado come out nowhere knocking her off their Loftwing and down to here. At first she's falling downward falling downward quickly from the sky then falls through the clouds and as she does her descend slows and Zelda is wrapped in golden light that to anybody down here it would look like a goddess were coming down from the heavens. Thank Hylia somebody caught her already Zelda can feel just how the heat of this place and just how unforgiving it is. Gentle blue eyes look into Ganondorf's. Is she okay? in truth for the moment she's not but more in a state of shock. " W---- what is this place?" could this really be the surface?, the world below the clouds but how is possible because legends say there's nothing below the clouds.

Well, this is certainly not how he thought of spending a simple walk amidst the ever-stretching sands. Then again, Teyvat held no shortage of strange happenings so this wasn't all too startling of a view.

Reacting quickly, Ganon has his arms out to catch the person, using his feets to brace himself and cushion the impact. It might be sand but it doesn't mean nothing would hurt in an unforgiving landscape like Sumeru's desert.

Once he manage to catch this, woman from closer inspection, does he avoid from putting her down just yet.

Skyward sword Link and Zelda: Zelda is NOT a princess she's Hylia reborn as a mortal. Hylia had to become a mortal because she suffered grave injuries after the battle with Demise. It was either become a mortal with a plan to save the world. She mostly sees herself as who she is at the heart which is her father's daughter, one of those attending the knight academy she is Link's best friend and puts fear into Groose when needed. She is very kind and loves music despite this is a force to be reckoned with, she has memories every now and then which Hylia had of her past life

Link he is the first reincarnation of the hero, the hero of skies. He has a tendency to sleep in since the time him and Zelda were children she's always been the one who'd wake him up, later Zelda makes him promise he'd wake her up before putting herself into a deep slumber for a thousand years to make sure Demise doesn't break free from the seal holding them. He can come across as lazy but in reality he's more of a peace keeper and a very kind hearted person, he looks like a like a cinnamon roll he never dreamed of adventure he had his head in the clouds

Ocarina of time Link and Zelda: Princess Zelda, since the time she was a child she was very suspicious of Ganondorf when he showed up swearing his allegiance to her father. With the gift of prophey she had a dream as a child of dark clouds billowing around Hyrule then suddenly a ray of light shot spiritual stone she had a feeling that somebody from the forest would confront her. She has the Trifroce of wisdom, disguised herself as a Sheikah warrior called Sheik to hide from Ganondorf ends up being kidnapped by Ganondorf.

Link he has an active imagination of adventure, he is somebody who is smart but not book smart he is very observant and has an awareness and has a knack for seeing things that others don't hat makes one quick on one’s feet, able to use their environment to their advantage, and as adaptable as molding clay. Begins their journey at nine years old with barley any context he went off to save Hyrule as a vengeance mission for the Deku tree who is also like a father to him . After Ganondorf has been defeated he leaves Hyrule on their own quest for answers [ instead of in canon ] searching for Navi too.

Breath of the wild Link and Zelda:

Princess Zelda, as a little girl her mother was killed by a Yiga blade master one day while her and their mother wondered out of Hyrule castle's walls. Zelda is a nerd she loves to study ancient technlogy she loves to figure things out and study things she is very bookish

and has a very strong sense of adventure. Zelda is kind and benevolent, and cares deeply for the people she rules and cares deeply for her friends, her most valuable attribute is that she is wise, she is very smart. Unlike the other past Zeldas her goddess power did not come to her right away.

Link is honest, serious, and sometimes overly committed to his duties very loyal and a good friend he loves horses and is an expert on them and loves food as well and absolutely fearless one hundread years later without a single memory to his name despite this and he's fully prepared to march forward and save Hyrule and Zelda.

TOTK Link and Zelda:

Princess Zelda, she remains just the same as she was before kind and benevolent and has a strong sense of adventure still a nerd as much as before except now she is trying to adjust now into living amongst her people learn how to live as a commoner learn to do things she did not have do those things before. Zelda is a teacher at Hateno Village. Now without her goddess power and can no longer hear the voice inside the master sword but that is fine by her she's learned balance.

Link is still searching to put their memories back in place little at a time. He's fallen back into the way he was 100 years ago at times he chooses to be non verbal at times depending on who it is he is speaking to he's not comfortable with speaking to just anybody. Although Zelda has told him she no longer needs him to be her knight he remains at her side now as her partner and friend. Post demon king he still has their prosthetic arm because was more focused upon finding Zelda and saving Hyrule rather then his own needs during his quest.

There's a soft smile upon Zelda's face but these days her smile is more laid back and genuinely happy rather then a bit forced and trying to be happy despite her internal struggles with her power not awakening. She's been learning to cook, she's getting pretty good at it too! something she can pride herself in. "Actually, i have been lacking in an appetite since Calamity Ganon was defeated Link it seems imprisoning yourself within such a beast for one hundred thousand years has it's side effects. For now i will be fine." The princess turns her attention back onto the eggs she's cooking then glances at him. " How do you like your eggs?, you know i think one hundred years ago we kind of got off to a bad start it was wrong of me to take my insecurities out on you Link and i want to make it up to you. "

He'd been awake a few hours now, well he had begun to drift just a little into that dark place of the realm of sleep. Of course he had heard Zelda's movement once she had awoken this morning.

They had been travelling across Hyrule again, this time he at least hoped that this peace would last and they could rebuild. He knew that he would do whatever he could to help her do that as well.

It would seem old habits die hard with how he had stayed awake a little longer than needed, getting up earlier than needed to keep a watch and an eye on the environment around them.

He had been staring at the tree line in the distance, that lightly drifting in and out of sleep. Enough of a distraction that he did not take too much notice of the noises and smells of cooking.

Until the question came and he'd look up to Zelda now. A soft yet still slightly sleepy smile on his face; though he did on habit sit up a little straighter.

"As long as there's enough for you too."

He could have a quick snack for breakfast if he needed to do so. He did actually speak with Zelda, seeing as it was the two of them by themselves and he was slowly getting more comfortable with talking to others.

Last time they were here it was to investigate the gloom wafting up from under Hyrule castle and making people ill. Given the circumstances she feels the two of them never got a chance to explore these caves more thoroughly only for the sake of confirming the rumors are untrue. How long have they been descending? quite sometime now and the tunnels twist and turn like some elaborate labyrinth. With a torch in her hand Zelda turns around to face him to speak. " I suspest the other Hylians are just paranoid after all of the events that happened during the upheaval but there's only one way to confirm the rumor to be untrue and it's to explore this place more thoroughly. Whether it's a rumor or not, i can't help but be intrigued could this place hold more mysteries?"

He's still not fully convinced.

It's not like he doesn't believe in ghosts and spirits; after all since he had awoken once more he had met several. Two of Hyrule's past kings, the ones of his fellow champions and that of the zonai Mineru.

But he wasn't fully convinced that the place they had visited right now was haunted.

But then again there was rumours circulating and ones that Zelda had repeated to him. He had suggested that they checked it out to ease her and the local hylians that lived near here.

"I didn't say I didn't believe you. I said I'm not convinced that it is haunted here, Zelda."
