I want to say my own piece on what I think of the whole... THAT part of the mythos pokemon Teraleak. As someone who has liked Hypno for a really long time, its really unfortunate to see other people who like pokemon [such as Typhlosion] be laughed at for a mythos that was never meant to be canon or revealed to the public. In a way its cathartic for me to see popular pokemon get the same scrutiny and mocking as my favorite has experienced for decades (and as a result I have experienced too) but I also know that in the end it is upsetting all around for a pokemons reputation to go down the gutter, especially if you have been enjoying them for a long time. The disappointment is rough.

I just wish more people just understood that 1. It was meant to be Mythos, and Mythos has always been really really weird, just like in real life [and if im correct theyre based on Japanese mythos too?] 2. IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE CANON 3. Even if it was, one pokemon doing something doesnt generalize the whole species [this is such an issue when trying to talk to people about Hypno, this point gets me so heated] I can "Oh these Typhlosion fans are feeling 1% of a Hypno Fans pain" all I want but I know how awful it feels to be the butt end of the pokemon fandoms awful "humor". Im glad to see this consensus being reached by more pokemon fans as the hype dies down, but the jokes and poking fun dont seem like theyre going to stop. I know pokemon like Typhlosion and Octillary are going to take a hit, and from a long term Hypno fan to you guys, DEFEND YOUR FAVES WITH YOUR LIFE!!!!!
