           HE HADN’T EVEN SHOWED UP in the funeral — after all, why would he? he hadn’t murdered his own sister for nothing ( quite on the contrary: he had wanted EVERYTHING ). of course, for anyone who didn’t know better, it just seemed like he had a shitty relationship with her, which was a bit of an understatement. it was a secret he guarded well — one he was PROUD of, even. «it’s been a while,» he uttered absentmindedly as he shot a glance in the younger’s direction. «you’ve been doing alright?» there was something akin to interest in his tone, though not all too sincere.

the whole SITUATION had been a mess - she should’ve known better to begin with, but there was a rush about the s n e a k i n g around, about the being together behind her best friend’s back that had made it unable for the girl to just walk away. she knew it was a RISK from the start, but she had never been able to p r e p a r e herself for it to be over - and the way it had all ended hadn’t exactly made it easier on the younger. ‘ i suppose it has been, it does feel like for-fucking-ever. ’ the girl nodded, taking the straw in her mouth so she could take another sip -- instead she found herself just p l a y i n g with it. ‘ i’ve been doing amazing, as expected. how about you, stud ? ’

HIS PROACTIVE SMIRK only grew at the other’s confident actions of giving him better access of her neck, teeth grazing and quietly nipping at the softened flesh as a hum rumbles somewhere deep in his chest –– the only active indication that he’s currently listening to her d r a w l e d out sentences. the timid reception of the public was something that sejun tended to IGNORE when he was with hyeona, only her soft curves and addictive lips keeping his mind focused on it’s one true goal … her. “ i suppose i could help you into that particularly tight piece of clothing, ” sejun murmurs against her skin, fingers d a n c i n g along the edges of her shirt before TUGGING relentlessly towards the direction of the dressing rooms. “ though, the dressing room is going to be a tight fit, baby girl. ”

a soft giggle left her HEART SHAPED lips as he continued to nibble her skin, it had always been one of her most s e n s i t i v e spots and the boy was no stranger to taking advantage of it - more often than not she’d be leaving his apartment full of hickeys, bruises, and marks to the side of her neck. her fingers teased over the fabric of his trousers, inching closer to the all familiar spot, ‘ then why don’t you ? ’ she hummed, feeling her cheeks REDDEN UP at the idea of them in the dressing room together. ‘ well .. i did say i’d only give you a preview, didn’t i ? ’

HYEONA WANDERED in when haeil was on his second drink. she was an interesting person in his life. he certainly counted her as a friend even if she had helped him end a few of his relationships. for haeil he was happy to have hyeona in his life both as a friend and as a rather convenient excuse. however, it often made haeil wonder exactly where he stood with the younger female. “ i thought you might need time to yourself to study. ” haeil responded. “ don’t worry, though, i missed you with every breath i took. ” sarcasm, mostly, although haeil did find himself missing hyeona, she wasn’t someone who was easily replaceable.

their FRIENDSHIP had never exactly been normal, with haeil going to the girl every time he needed a quick an easy way out of an i n c o n v e n i e n t relationship - but then again she did have homewrecker written on her forehead so she couldn’t exactly blame him. ‘ i did, that doesn’t mean i wouldn’t have picked up my phone had you called. ’ there was a t e a s i n g tone covering her voice as she took the seat next to the male. ‘ well of course you did, how could you not ? ’

          HE WASN’T EXPECTING THIS REACTION, but with hyeona he had never quite known what to expect. it had been part of the FUN, after all, to not have everything in his life set in stone. and whilst he suspected he might’ve grown c l o s e to hyeona as an attempt to really PISS of his sisters, he couldn’t mask the fact that he had also grown fond of her. it was something about expecting the unexpected that kept him on the edge of his seat. of course, things had been DIFFERENT then — and both of them had changed, a quite massive amount too. «don’t think they can,» he pointed out casually, «just never thought i’d get to see you again.» and with that he lifted his glass with a grin. «it is. cheers for that.»

she felt as if she was walking on eggshells, as if every word she let slip between her lips could give away as to how on edge she felt sitting next to the other - she didn’t want him to know there was a single part of her that still thought about him, or about how he had ruined her. hyeona had always been ALONE, it was something she had grown used to -- however when she had met taeyang and his sister she had almost felt like she was apart of something bigger, only to have that r i p p e d right out of her hands. ‘ well then i suppose it’s your lucky day. ’ a somewhat INSINCERE smile displayed on her lips as she slightly raised her glass. ‘ cheers. ’

A LOW CHUCKLE escapes the base of sejun’s throat in reply as a pair of lips are met with soft skin, humming quietly as he nips at the open area that is behind the girl’s ear – unable to do anything but agree with the girl’s words. shopping had somewhat become a past time rather than a chore, sejun finding more amusement in showering the girl with pretty things and expensive earrings, and even finding the reward in the end more s a t i s f y i n g than any pair of loafers could bring. it’s their little agreement and by the LOOK in her eyes as they stand in the middle of her favorite boutique, he had hit the j a c k p o t. “ how about –– ” he murmurs against the shell of her ear, a smirk soon growing on those PINKED lips. “ i buy that for you … just to take it off and leave them on my bedroom floor? ”

a soft hum left her TAINTED lips as the boys lips met the porcelain skin of her neck, s t r e t c h i n g out so he could have a better access to it -- there was a time where she would have felt ashamed at the public display, knowing there would be judging eyes on her but that time had long passed, if anything it only fueled her fire. it was easy between the two of them, there was this c a s u a l n e s s and routine that they had SLIPPED in when it was just them - always keeping one another on their toes for their own selfish reasons. she could hear the grin ass he spoke, hyeona pursed her lips ‘ --- how about .. i try it on right now and you give me a preview of tonight in the dressing room ? ’
