Ahh thank you for the new asks!! I’ve been drawing a bit recently, I’m wondering if I’m getting back into actually being able to answer sooner than later. But regardless, I’ll definitely get to the new asks by the time I’m back from the cruise so do look out for that! :DD

Sorry, I realize that that’s what that Anon had implied. I know for a fact that Muse ending (and my ‘muse ending’ I do mean the lives and anime.) was not because Aqours was started. I thought that what they’d been saying was what I was trying to say but being very tired, I apparently missed that.

They Seiyuus love playing those roles, love the lives, care a lot of each other and just enjoy it in general. They’ve stated that they’d love to continue even after 6 years. There are many, many VAs/Seiyuus who voice and/or play a character for way longer than that and still love doing so.

But the thing is they had nowhere to go anymore with Muse’s story. They decided to make season 2 before LL got so wildly popular that everywhere you turn you see someone with a reference or playing SIF or w/e. They chose to end the story there before they realized that they could have continued it, that if they’d waited a little longer they could have gotten a ton of money off of Muse. But once it was done it was done. They didn’t back out on their decision (as stated by Muse themselves in the movie) and instead figured ‘we could make a new group instead).

As stated, their haste and uncaring in creating this new group is what makes me dislike them. It’s how quickly and not thought out they are that really gets me. I stated that if they’d chosen to make this new group because they had all these ideas for a new story, new characters, etc. then that woulda been fine! But no, no they wanted the money. They wanted to drag out what they had going and their first project really didn’t have a way of continuing so make another! Quick! Before the excitement dies down! Just use Muse as reference! It’s quick and easy to just do that!

I am a writer, I make my own stories and OCs, and to see a company who has written such amazing characters, in such a captivating story turn around and crank out a near-identical copy just to get money? That hurts a lot.

I’m super tired so I’m gonna crash now, just wanted to mention that I’m working on pages for each girl that will be accessible via this page.

Also that there’s been one more animal change. Well, more like breed change.

Umi is no longer a Brewer’s Black bird. The females do not in fact have black wings, but brown. She’s now a Steller’s Jay. So the animals are: Maki: Savannah Cat

Rin: Cheetah cub

Honoka: Shiba Inu

Kotori: Mourning Dove

Umi: Steller’s Jay

Nozomi: Coati Mundi

I agree 100000% with you about Aquors. It's a cash grab. Because of it we have to see μ's basically end just so that the companies involved can line thier pockets with cash from the people who will gobble up anything. It's infuriating.

Mm this is my view on it. I just hadn’t wanted to say anything because I didn’t want to start anything but, too late now. I’ve said it.

But yes, this is the exact reason I was upset. If they had decided to make Aqours because they just loved the universe and had more story, etc. I’d’ve probably loved Aqours (Aqours better have a reason behind their name being a mix of ‘aqua and ours’ because... why. Why?? xD At least Muse had a reason for their name..).

But they spent nearly no time on caring for their character creation, personalities, etc. and put so little effort into it that most of them can be fairly easily pointed out as what mixes of what Muse characters they are. They didn’t have to go with 9, there are other sizes of groups. They didn’t have to have a quieter character who plays on a grand piano and has someone who fawns over her and she gets flustered.. like... All my reasons for not liking Aqours is because I am disappointed in the company for not caring to put the effort into creating them.

It disappoints me greatly that they made a cash grab group like this when they are fully capable of making so much better. I’m not bitter about another group being put in the spotlight, Muse had a good run! Another group is fine to step up. But not one that is a carbon copy purely for making them more money. That’s not fair to their fans, all the people paying for their merch, all the time and effort the fans put into caring for these characters, etc.

you have no reason to dislike aqours if you know nothing about them. lol. can everyone shut up with the dumb unnecessary aqours hate. christ

’I had a feeling this was going to happen, so here goes.

1. I don’t know ‘nothing’ about their personalities. I was making things simpler in my explanation, and didn’t want to go into an all-out rant to specifically avoid hating on Aqours for no reason.

2. When Aqours was first announced I got excited! Well, upset and excited. I knew Muse was ending and I was sad about that, of course. But I thought ‘well they’re continuing the series at least’. To this day I am happy the Love Live universe is not ending.

3. When I found out about their appearance and personality, group size, even the sound of their songs- I got angry. Not just because they are near carbon copy of Muse, but because I knew the company could do so amazing with their characters but! They did not. They wanted more money. That is what Aqours is, a cash grab. They went for the easy route and making a new group based on the original. THAT is what made me mad.

4. I never posted hate, never said anything overly rude or anywhere near attacking Aqours. I purely said, and you can go check my posts too, that I ‘dislike’ them. You cannot tell someone to shut up when asked a question about something they dislike and they state they dislike it.

So please don’t come to my inbox and accuse me of hating on Aqours without knowing why. Let someone hate or dislike something in peace. Let someone like/love something in peace. The only time you should ever tell someone off, complain, etc. is when they are telling someone else that their opinion is bad/that they are bad for thinking it/is hurting someone else due to their own opinion.

Please don’t message me again about this. I dislike the characters, I don’t want to put the time into working on hybrids for each one- especially since if I did, I would get more asks and have to draw them more and - look at my url - this is a blog for MUSE. not Aqours. Even A-RISE are special guests and are only three but I don’t want to do them often and won’t reply to many A-RISE things.

What will/would the Aqours girls' hybrids be?

I know next to nothing about the Aqours girl’s personalities and I really... dislike them? But! If someone feels like they want to do this with the Aqours girls, I’d be more than happy to point people in that direction for asks related to them!

Honoka doesn’t die at least. She only gets sick... Still doesn’t make Umi any less worried whenever Honoka forgets not to eat chocolate! 

What deficiencies, intolerances, etc. that they get from their animal is completely random since it’s basically a virus. Visually, none of them have any trouble with colour except for Maki’s colour blindness, but that’s not from the virus.

She loves it! But she forgets about that one part every time and... she does not take it well. Nozomi kinda likes it because she gets to comfort her.

where did you get the idea for this hybrid thing? its really cool.

The original idea and original universe (ours is a little changed) is from padalickingood (which is credited on my blog at the top!). The very first thing that came from this idea, or well where it was created was in the RT (RoosterTeeth, specifically the Achievement Hunter section I believe) fandom. The link I gave is to the list of their different versions of it!

So basically we used their idea and built off of their second version (I believe called Hybrid AU X, where instead of always being this way it was instead a mutation or something that suddenly started spreading or happening). :D

We really adore the idea and spent hours and hour and days and days just talking about all different things about LL and this AU so! That’s why we have it now!

This is the ‘fun’ crew. Honoka doesn’t really understand, Nozomi sleeps it off unless she’s alone with... her significant other *cough*Eli*cough*, Eli is extremely pushy and whiny even if it’s not about... ‘doing’... anything. Maki denies it all completely but is very submissive during this time while Nico, being the same as Maki but more in a dominant way, has come to terms with the whole situation. 

So that leaves miss Maki as most embarrassed! I doubt that’s a surprise.

(Will edit with colour later, nasty headache and wanted to get at least one out before lying down!)

Another thing I forgot to mention I’ve changed Honoka’s animal from a golden retriever to dOGE a shiba inu~ Mainly because ‘dancing dog’, their little taping dance they like doing but also it just fits somehow?

are you going to be including A-RISE in this at all? or any side characters (aside from the yazawa siblings, I see they've already been mentioned! SUCH CUTE LITTLE KITS)?

Oh I didn’t think about A-RISE for some reason but sure! I’ll need to figure out animals for them too, so I’ll post again with their animals soon! Thanks for mentioning them! :D
