my (favorite) oc is the result of me deciding a ttrpg one-shot inspired by conspiracy theories around the dyatlov pass would be fun. ended up making a mentally unstable astrophysicist who committed mass murder via a simultaneous nuclear meltdown/neutron star collapse (black hole). theyre also REALLY into disco and christmas. and ended up being half alien bc of a joke.
oh that DOES sound fun. fascinated as to how this went down. good luck to them i support them in their. black hole endevours

i love how many different mad scientist archetypes there are. we have like
- cold, calculating, really good at what they do, emotionally detached
- “dear GOD what did i just create”, paranoid, little meow meow
- bastard, rat, would find them drenched in glowing mystery liquid with a shit eating grin on their face, maniac cackling every time something is silly
and of course we have the mix why wouldnt we
#hyades is mostly 1 and 3#like 3/4 one and a quarter 3#later on some of 2 comes in but its really only in relation to intentional mass murder and then serial killing#and most of that is bc they miss normandy#but really. cold calculating bitch but theyre being VERY funny about it
