Note: This is based on the song "Show me how"! (If that wasn't clear enough in the title..) since I got this random boost of energy and motivation from it. This is a lil' weird since I am posting my introduction but this is fineeee. But thanks to my friend for suggesting Hajime as well! Reader: Gender Neutral Genre: Fluff Character: Hajime Hinata Warnings: None.

It was a quiet afternoon. You were steadily sitting on the couch with knitting equipment by your side, focusing on knitting a sweater for a certain someone you cared most about. This quiet afternoon gave you some time to yourself, and your favorite music to listen to without no complaints. To be fair, you weren't the most patient person in the world to be knitting, but you had promised your Significant other a gift. A gift that showed you cared about them. And you wonder about this "Significant Other"? Well, that S/O is Hajime, Hajime Hinata. A person with no talent, unlike you. But, talent or not, you loved him dearly. After meeting him at school, and onwards till you both graduated, you decided to move into together. Sooner or later, becoming love birds. You could perhaps say that this was a "Love at First Sight" Scenario, and you'd be right. A sigh would escape from your lips. Your hands were probably cramped at this point from all of this knitting. It was a tedious process, but in the end, it would be worth it. I think. You swore that there would be a reward after you've finished. You forced your mind to think that. After all, you've sat here for 3 hours in secret while Hajime was at work. The good news was that you were almost done, and could finally see the light once you'd finished. The bad news was Hajime would soon come straight home from work. So you needed to hurry your poor ass up before you ruin the gift. Scrunching your nose and repositioning your hand once more, you tried your best to not mess up sewing the last parts of his sweater. Biting your bottom lip, you almost bounced up with joy as you finished. Setting the equipment down, you viewed your work, and a large smile would quickly take place. Excitement sparks in your eyes as (the super recognizable) light knocking was brought to your attention. Just in time, too! Rushing over, you couldn't wait to show Hajime the gift you had just made. You were like a hyper kid who wanted to show their scribbles off to their caregiver.

Hiding the sweater behind your back, you quickly opened the door. Hajime was behind the door with a small smile on his face. Before you could let him speak, you blurted out, "My love, hello! I've made you something!~" You chirped. Hajime was slightly surprised by your excitement but couldn't help to lightly chuckle. "And what would that be?" He tilted his head, a bit curious as to what you could've made for him. "Well, why don't you come in first?" You giggled, backing up so that he could enter the apartment, continuing to hide the gift. He nodded, entering the living room and closing the door behind him. It looked like the "Something" you were talking about was just behind your back. He couldn't exactly try and get a sneak peek, since that would just be plain rude. Going over to the couch nearby, Hajime sat down, continuing to look at you. "So, what do you possibly want to give me?" He asks, and you quickly reply. "Try and guess!" You sat beside him with a cheeky smile. "Headphones?" "No!" "Food?" "If it was food, I would've just said I made you dinner." "Shoot, then I don't know.."

You rolled your eyes, clearly not impressed with his guesses. "Cold. Very cold that you'd die. Did you say food just because you were hungry?" Hajime sighed, taking his hand and covering nearly half of his face. "Maybe.." "I'll make sure to order some pizza. But, here!" Having enough of waiting, you pulled the sweater that was behind your back, showing it to Hajime. He was in awe at your gift. You really made something for him? "See? I made this all by myself. I even made sure to measure your size to make it fit perfectly!" He then raised his eyebrow. "Wow, really? You sure went all out on this.." Hajime's smile grew brighter, taking the sweater from you and giving it a quick glance. "It's amazing, Y/N! And I don't even have anything to give you in return.." He said, folding the sweater and placing it on his lap. "I'll make sure to wear this every day in the house." "Can you wear it outside of the house?" "...I'll think about that." You would chuckle at his response, giving him a tight side hug. "Well, it's okay if you didn't even give me anything! Because I have you. Even if me saying this does make me sound a bit cheesy.." Hajime was very flustered. Even if your words were truly cheesy like you've said, he still loves you the way you are and wouldn't change a single thing about you. Yes, even the attempts of making him flustered or making him feel nice. "Hajime, want me to go order that pizza now?" You said, looking up at him. "Yeah." he soon after returned the hug.

Spoiler alert, he wore the sweater everywhere, and the class flamed him for it /j.
