The thing when there's a character thats almost universally headcanoned as autistic is that it makes reading fanfiction featuring them borderline torture for me
#personal#I'm talking about characters that are basically canonically autistic but without the final step#and it's torture bc when soooo many people are writing them in a way that highlights their autism so much of it is. bad.#it's really like wow you took this interesting character and made them speak and think and act in a way that they don't!#and it highlights what you think of autistic people. wow!
