🐥 More Rando Head canons! 🐥

Young HDL 🐣:

Huey walked first and at that moment Donald knew his life had became more challenging. However, Huey would only walk when he really wanted to get hold of something, other wise he would just crawl with his brothers. Dewey didn’t walk, he ran. Donald first saw him run when he was getting the boys lunch and saw a blue flash run past laughing. He had had his suspicions before as he would hear a patter of feet and then a crash, running in to find something broken. From that moment Dewey wouldn’t stay still. Louie didn’t crawl for almost another 6 months. Donald was very worried about this but everyone said that there was no problem, Louie just didn’t want to walk. That changed when Louie got bored of Donald not keeping his attention on him and simply walked over to him and held up his hands to be picked up. Donald complied absentmindedly before shrieking and almost dropping Louie who started grumbling at him in his limited vocab.

(I got a lot of head canon ideas from this (it’s not mine))

Louie was the first of them to speak. Donald thought that he would be the last seeing as how lazy he was when walking but instead was the first. Donald used to get worried when he would hear a voice chattering away from the triplets room but couldn’t see anyone when he entered so he set his phone up to film them and caught Louie talking to his brothers. However, before he could even watch the video to see who it was, Louie started talking to him. Soon he became a translator from Donald and Huey&Dewey but would slightly change what his brothers said, putting himself in the good light or more likely to get a present. Luckily for Donald, Huey and Dewey started talking barely a month later.

Their meals mostly consisted of:

- pasta (easy and quick to cook)

- fish and chips (because where would it be if not by the coast)

- hot dogs (which puts Louie off for life)

Huey loves hugs as for him it feels like he is reconnecting with his loved ones. Dewey likes hugs but doesn’t often stay still long enough for Huey’s liking. Louie is hardly ever a hugger as he doesn’t find it easy to show his emotions, finding hugs awkward but while half asleep or watching Tv he will often lean against the closest person and won’t complain if they wrap theirs arms around him in turn.

Dewey stuck glowy stars all over the house for fun but when he discovered that Louie didn’t like the dark he moved a load of them to the underside of his bunk so that Louie could see them whilst laying down. Louie never said thank you but he helped Dewey with his homework for the next two months and played with him whenever he wanted.

Huey’s favourite number had been three since he had learnt to count. It represented that there were three triplets and three people looking after him (Dewey, Louie and Donald)

❤️Huey was curious. He had so many questions about everything. He was never satisfied with a simple answer. He wanted to have everything explained away. Talking of mysteries and history, spiked his curiosity ten-fold. 💚Louie was clever. Far too clever that a child had any business being. To make matters worse, he was also a smooth talker. It was difficult, nearly impossible, to pin any trouble on him which only increased his confidence. And with that, he sought out new ways to get into and out of trouble. 💙Dewey was adventurous. He was stubborn too. If you said that he couldn’t do something, he would take it as a challenge. It didn’t matter what, whether it was riding his bike without training wheels or getting a cookie by himself, he would take it personally and do his best to prove everyone wrong.

Louie was always the easiest to put to bed, but would often stay up chatting to himself or his brothers. He could also fall asleep anywhere at any time. He had been known to fall asleep in cupboards, mine carts etc. He once feel asleep in the middle of Huey and Dewey having an argument next to him. They only realised when they turned to him to settle it.

🦆 DT 2017 Head Canons 🦆

(This can all be used in any fanfics or fanart as long as I am tagged)

Scrooge has a room for each and every member of his family in McDuck Mansion, dead or alive, each specialised for the individual although many of them hardly get used. Scrooge actually enjoys drawing for fun, and decorates each door with an individual item that reminds him of that person. Members include but are not limited to:

- Donald&Della. When they were little they shared a room with twin single beds either side of the room. The walls are painted a pale blue, as well as the door, which also has a boat sailing along the sea (bottom half) and an airplane zooming through the sky (top half). Now, they have individual rooms next to each other although Donald mainly sleeps in the house boat.

- Della. Her room is painted white to contrast with the darkness of space. She struggled in her room at first, as she longed to be able to see the sun when she woke up, but couldn’t face being able to see the moon or stars at night (at least not at first, she gets better). As a compromise, she has blackout curtains to block out the moon. She also has a lava lamp that Lena got her, and a white noise machine that is constantly playing lightly in the background. It’s not perfect, but it’s a good in-between of the crushing silence and imperceptible darkness of the “planet” moon, and the deafening cacophony and overwhelming visuals of earth.

- Donald. His door is dark blue with a white anchor on it. The walls are painted a greyish blue with a painted “thick” rope that curls around above the skirting board so it looks a bit like a ship being tied to a port. There is a large window that you can see the sea from but it doesn’t actually open. Instead, there is a flap but above it that you can flick up and down to prevent the wind from blowing through.

- Gladstone. His door is painted a pale green with cream walls. His door has a chain of four leaf clovers in a horse shoe shape.

- Feathery. His room is quite small, being the only bedroom (apart from Donald’s) that Scrooge could find that had a decent view of the docks and sea. To make up for it, he painted the walls a light blue with silhouettes of sea creatures swimming through the ocean. The door is bright red to stand out from the darkish wall of the corridor with a shrimp painted on it. (He later painted a krill to play with it once Feathery plucked up the courage to correct his uncle on his favourite animal) feathery also hangs up a hand made solar system that drives Huey insane when they are exploring as it isn’t accurate at all.

- Matilda. Her door is painted a light peachy pink, with white daisies in chains. Her walls are white with Lythrum salicaria, Scottish wildflowers randomly painted across the walls (the same ones she wears in her hair normally)

- Hortense. She was very family oriented, and always liked knowing where she came from. Knowing this, Scrooge painted a large tree on her door, roots curling around the skirting boards on either side, with leafy branches stretching to the ceiling. Instead of writing names, Scrooge draw a symbol for each family member that Hortense would recognise. The tree includes as far back as the McDuck’s can be remembered, and a branch also stretches off to the Duck family tree (Quackmore) and the latest of the Coots seeing as Hortense is married into that family.

Louie has been terrified of Boyd since Doofus’ birthday but doesn’t say anything because Huey and Boyd’s friendship means more to him

Boyd can actually remember almost killing Louie at the birthday party but it is all glitchy from where he fell in the pool so he assumes it was whatever robots got instead of dreams and brushed it off

Louie carries around posit notes in his pockets for Huey so he doesn’t write up his arm (this can be seen in the first episode when Louie had the green posits)

Louie has Donald’s (and Della’s) luck. He gets hurt a lot on adventures and his schemes can often go wrong. Etc.

Whenever Louie fell asleep in the car on road trips that Donald would take them on when they were younger, or is just really asleep any where, Dewey plaited his hair or tried other tricks with his hair because Louie could sleep through anything, and it helps with Dewey’s fidgety hands and his commitment skills. (Louie always pretends to get annoyed but leaves them in anyway)

Launchpad is actually from the Uk as his ancestors came from Scotland or Ireland due to his surname being McQuack. He moved to America when he was about ten, getting his American accent then, but can still use his British one if he thinks about it. (This is one of the reasons Scrooge is happy to keep him on even though it costs him a lot)
