House of Cards update #6: Applications are open!

Despite a small delay due to personal matters, we’re so happy to announce that we’re now accepting applications on House of Cards & threading will be open in the next 24 hours! Thank you so much for supporting our site buzz throughout August! <3

The most exciting part, now, is to announce the winners of the development challenge! 

In first place came Tei, whose moodboard was unfortunately flagged by Tumblr but didn’t fail to impress us! In second place came Cece, whose wonderfully colour-schemed moodboard brightened our day (:

In third place came Mimi, whose uniquely structured moodboard struck us as hugely interesting!

house of cards update #4

Although it’s a couple of days late, we’d like to launch our development challenges! For these, we’d like you to create a graphic, write a little piece, or just generally do something creative for your character(s)! You can either submit these via our submit button, or post them on our tag, #hocrp, and we’ll reblog it!

This will be a small competition, and the winners will be picked on August 23rd! As a reward, the three winners will have a choice between having the first featured character spot, a personal player badge for their characters, and a free character slot, with first choice being given to first place, and then second!

House of Cards, an upcoming crime roleplay

House of Cards will be a Jcink Premium organized crime roleplay set in Macau, intending to open August 24th. We boast Nerve-inspired elements with a highly adaptable and open setting, meant to provide a welcoming community to all writers interested. There will be crime family canon spaces available, the ability to join the Nerve League or simply play an average citizen! We are LGBTQ+ inclusive, and encourage the use of face claims from all backgrounds and ethnicities.
