Ettienne furrowed her brow as she saw Roderick and dropped herself into the chair next to him. It was the first time she’d seen him since they’d spoken before Valentines Day. “Do you really want to hear how bad it was?” She asked, brows still knitted together. “You never turned up to take me out, so it was bad, really fucking bad.” The blonde told him, tucking her feet up underneath her.

Roderick frowned, knowing he always filled his plate too full. Making plans and always on the run. “I’m so sorry. I honestly worked, spent a long time after school witht he kids and then visited my aunt.” He said, looking over to her. He touched her shoulder. “Can I make it up to you? Even better than what I planned for Valentine’s day?” He offered a small smile, hoping that he would forgive her.

Looking around to see if he was talking to anybody else, Lydia averted her eyes back on to him and pointed at herself. “Who? Me?” She asked with a laugh, making her way over and sitting in the space next to him. “Ah, so, not your normal, average ears then but amazing ones? I must ask, what makes your ears better than the standard pair? I may have to investigate because if it proves not to be the case then… false advertising. That. And I’ll be disappointed.”

“Amazing!” He repeated with a wide smile now that the woman sat next to him.”Well for one, I have impeccable hearing. I can detect non happiness almost 5 miles away” He said with a serious face. “Which is how you are now in my office. Come on, let’s get that sunshine out!”

Ed Sheeran blasted in the background, Roderick literally playing the album for a week straight. As he stirred the sauce for the lasanga, his hips started to twist and his feet moving to the beat of three. He quickly went over to @oliviaxmarshall, singing along with the song like he was on a stage.

Who are some people you think should hang out or talk more?

I saw Ariel and Logan talking and I support that. They seem to get along well. I also think that Lilja and Ami seemed to connect pretty well. 

For people that I think haven’t talked but should, I would say Etty and Blake, something tells me they would get along. Or maybe Roderick and Lydia.

Roderick patted the seat next to him, seeing the look on the other person’s face telling all. He slid his black frames on to show he meant business. “Come onn” He said, his hands planting on the table.

“I had no idea people give you so much free stuff when you’re having a baby. I swear Casey and I are taken care of for the first couple months of his life, and my moms are still sending us stuff. “I’m always in a rush!” Roderick said as he put his hands on his hips. He was sure he saw the world in fast forward compared to everyone else. It was when the man started to speak when everything slowed down. “You know what. I think I should. We all should!”  Roderick said as he looked around. “Oh yeah, this is Denver and it’s fucking Antartica’s step sister here” He joked 

Ami was having a rather slow, casual stroll along the sidewalk, a cigarette in hand as he gently puffed away on it, singing ‘More Than A Feeling’ by Boston to himself in his head as he walked. Amidst all the hustle and bustle of the crowds, he was taking his time without a care in the world. He looked more dishevelled than usual; if that was even possible, but still had his usual smile on his face. His store was dead and he decided it wasn’t worth keeping it open today, so decided to have a very rare day off with some ‘me-time’. 

“Why are you in such a hurry, dude?” He asked the person walking past him, his voice with a rather stoner-like quality to it (fitting since he was still a little high from the night before). “Why don’t you just stop and smell the roses, bruh…”
