Baby KT, the filly I’m training for my class. This picture was taken a couple days after her first ride. She now has about 30 or so rides on her and is starting her haunch turns and simple lead changes. Loped her up to the fence and stopped her for the first time a few days ago and man, this filly can hit the brakes.
Sired by Aint Seen Nothin Yet. She’s got a round hip, feminine face and neck, and the perfect amount of sickle to her hocks. Even though she’s barrel bred, I wouldn’t mind showing her in cow horse events.
Before the horses were assigned to the students, we all worked with random horses that changes each day. I put first rides on 3 colts- a Peptoboonsmal/Wimpys Little Step colt, a Lenas Peptolena/Dual Pep filly, and by pure chance, KT. I’m going to be absolutely honest- she didn’t stand out. She was good and didn’t offer to buck or get distressed, but neither did the other two colts. After putting more rides on her and asking for more, I have to say… I like this horse a LOT more than I thought I would when she was first assigned to me.
