Use "said" for dialogue unless you are writing a man talking, in which case use "whimpered"

coming on tumblr when ao3 is down is like when the internet goes out and you walk out of your room, seeing if everyone else is affected.

This scene from the trailer is replaying in my head 24/7 in 4K. I can't wait to see it on the big screen

Redrawing my most popular stobotnik drawing, but now using screens from Sonic 2 as reference instead of just winging it ✌️

the fact that Edwin lived in the early 1900s is a fantastic source of comedic potential. he's just constantly saying things that he doesn't realise are completely batshit insane, and the others are just left utterly floored.
like they're all talking and Crystal mentions she's tried cocaine once on a wild night out, and Edwin, who used to get that shit medically prescribed at the drop of a hat is like ??? okay?? hope you felt better, it always used to help me when I had a cold too :) Charles why are you laughing?

Warning for negativity relating to the Doctor Who Christmas special
I try limit my negativity on here because I don't like to yuck other people's yums so I'll just say this - I gave the episode the benefit of the doubt going in because I do like some of the standalone episode Steven Moffat wrote during RTD's initial run so maybe it wouldn't be so bad. That was like someone wrote an episode with the sole purpose of shoving in every single Moffat trope I hate. And then on top of that made it boring.

things moffat did well:
letting fifteen be an utter cunt (yippee!!!)
being anticapitalist on main
things moffat did poorly:
pulled yet another 'the doctor has never lived a normal life' despite him doing that multiple times, despite moffat literally being the person who wrote twelve living with river for 24 years, despite fifteen literally being the result of fourteen staying with donna for the rest of his life
had a lesbian casually say she's a lesbian with absolutely no regard for how queer people would act in the time period
attempted to tug on our heartstrings without actually attaching any strings to begin with
wrote a frankly mediocre at best episode
a star blowing up was stopped by.... love? or something?
also what is with his WW2 obsession

God this is a very moffat episode.
Pulling at unearned heartstrings with that COVID shit
Two references to offscreen lesbians, in time periods they would not safely be able to talk about it.
Fucking Villengard again, just cause it's got villain in the name does not mean it has to be the big bad when you can't think of a new one.
Stop uploading people's consciousnesses you freak, sometimes people can die and stay dead
God this episode was stupid.
The doctor just being a shit to people (for a good but MADE UP REASON)
I did like Anita tho, but then that was basically the same episode as when the doctor went to live with James Corden (twice)
FUCKING JESUS CHRIST IN BETHLEHEM
He keeps repeating the same points over and over again, and in the same way. Am I crying, yes. But that's cause I'm soft and can empathise with the people who literally had to say goodbye over video.
He makes me hate the doctor every time.
