The vile gloved hands of the soldiers pushing and pulling. The feeling of going numb, laying down in the snow bank, paralyzed with fear. Do you think him carrying Will in the snow after fleeing Mason Verger felt the same? That this was a test, that he couldn't let another love die in the frost? Do you think the sounds of his shoes crunching the snow fill him with dread? Do you think he saw the same dual beauty in it as he did other horrors, or do you think he only saw despair? the way hannibal talks about mischa in this scene is. 😢. he breaks eye contact with will and talks sadly but fondly of her. and his lips quiver before saying her name. like he hasnt said it in so long. his voice getting rougher like he’s about to cry. looking down as he has never talked to anyone about this subject. his breathing picking up. as a big sister this HITS!!!!!!!!! hannibal being the oldest sibling makes so much sense.
