I AM ALL THE MYSTERIES OF CREATION: IVORY WRAITH'S BLOOD MOON

Backgrounds are not really my forte hehe!! Wanted to draw the Ivory Wraith :) I've never gotten the schism event (I was too scared to steal Ivory's necklace lol) but I read it on the DOL wiki and I've been going crazy over it ever since!!!!

When you're in the prayer room, you've got the chance to encounter some sort of spirit- a benevolent presence (green- easier to get if you're wearing the holy pendant), a curious presence (blue-easier to get if you're wearing the stone pendant) and a malicious presence (red- easier to get if you're wearing the dark pendant). I saw someone say that the green correlates to Virgo and the red to Auriga, which sounds roughly in cannon, but that doesn't count the blue presence- this person suggested that it was the Ivory Wraith. I like that idea!!!

I especially liked the Elk Compound scene, which raises IW's love. I wish we could see more of it without it traumatizing my PCs (or maybe I'm not the right audience?)

here’s a proper intro post for fiore, my dol oc ^_^

fiore the anatomist is a surgeon working at the hospital on nightingale street, focusing more on physical trauma as opposed to harper's focus on emotional and psychological trauma. the player can meet them in a number of ways; passing out in the forest or moor after a soft vore event, leaving parasites on the body (or inside the body, if wearing a chastity device) for over a week, or if you've unlocked nets at alex's farm and catch something other than a lurker!

once met, they become a potential employer for the pc, but watch out. more about them under the cut, cw for gore and medical malpractice!

while working under fiore, the player can bring in anything they can catch during struggle encounters; slimes, bees, lurkers, etc. with each repeat catch, more progress is made towards the "[creature] - Understanding" trait: at completion, fully understanding the creature lowers the control hit you take from getting caught in a struggle encounter with them, and heightens the dodge chance. once fully researched, bringing in the same creature will provide only a small monetary reward.

in addition to bringing in creatures, players with high sadism also have the opportunity to bring in downed NPCs once a week, boosting combat fame but sharply lowering kindness fame. fiore will invite the player to sit in on their research (nonconsensual vivisection) for a boost to science and sadism, though not without a high trauma cost. maxing out the research gives the pc the "Combatant" trait, boosting damage output and making pain easier to cope with.

fiore may also send the player on increasingly dangerous tasks, such as catching specific creatures, allowing themself to be swallowed in a specific location, or even putting themself on the operating table to be vivisected. with each completed task, the player receives a monetary reward equivalent to the severity of the job. however, with each task, and also with every specimen brought to them, fiore's satisfaction raises. if fiore's satisfaction hits 100%, that brings us tooo...

the medical school! a new soft bad end akin to the asylum. here's what i've written for it:

to avoid getting sent to the medical school, the player can lower fiore's satisfaction by refusing tasks, going too long without bringing them anything, or by otherwise being a pest and hindering their research. having any transformation will make their satisfaction stat go up quicker and be harder to lower because they begin to take a scientific curiosity in your altered biology.

in terms of inter-npc interactions: they're harper's coworker and senior, and harper finds them offputting. they're winter's former student, and winter thinks they're intelligent, despite not applying themself in his class too much. this also means they'd be acquainted with leighton, though fiore never did anything to land themself in detention and thus never really got on leighton's radar. on occasion fiore will attend winter's medieval torture demonstrations. quinn pays fiore well to clean up messes and they don't ask any questions in return, and with whitney, they think whitney is a volatile person but continue to sell parasites to her anyway. yes, fiore is where whitney gets the parasites that she accosts you in the hallways with until canon disproves this :)
