Hi there, thanks for the questions!!! <3 1. They get along quite well! Given that the Diamonds couldn’t really provide child care for the human half of Pink (I call Homeraised Steven ‘Pink’, and the actual Pink Diamond ‘PD’, for reference!), they entrusted the zoomans to it for the most part. So he sees them a lot like family, although it’s a bit of a weird relationship because he’s superior to them. 2. What a good question! :) Guess we’ll have to see.... 3. I’m a bit confused by the wording, but hopefully this helps explain things- at the beginning of Homeraised, Pink has not been to Earth aside from being born there and living there when he was an infant, so he never met Lion :(((

hello… it’s BEEN a while!!!! my art has improved and, some time ago, i kind of was thinking about some minor design changes to pink!!! the biggest difference would, ofc, be his hair! I can draw steven’s canon hair, yes, but I knew that when the time came to really make Homeraised, I’d have to draw his hair a lot, and- i always take a hellishly long time drawing steven’s canon hair, so i went w/ something i can draw WAY easier! it also admittedly better matches his personality, bc yknow. hes a lil pink bitch. 
ive also aged him up? to eighteen from sixteen. i have reasons for this that are spoilers, but once I can, I’ll explain why I did this! THERE WILL BE NO NSFW IN THIS STORY. I WANT TO CLARIFY THAT NOW SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION ON THIS.other than this, the other changes are very minor, like giving him earrings and adding an extra line to the bottom of his outfit near his thigh, etc. I did admittedly forget the extra white line on his sheer dress, AND I made it a little TOO transparent but. Eh, it’s not the end of the world! 
in other news, to keep this blog a little bit more active, I’ll continue to answer questions! some replies may be drawn, depending! we’ll see how things go! also gonna try to keep drawing for the au, and hopefully… there’s a decent chance I’ll actually be able to start making it soon!!! :,D

ahaha oh my GOD yes. tbh when you can’t control anything in your life and you’re living a rather hellish life at that, you definitely end up throwing a lot of tantrums bc the one thing you CAN control is your emotions!

How does Steven feel about Pink's shattering/Rose Quartz/the rebellion overall? I know the obvious answer would be extreme hate(or sadness in Pink's case), but I'm curious if there's any level of nuance or even doubt in his mind. P.S, I don't mind that you're busy with life stuff, you're human. We'll wait til you're ready to work on it.

So for this to make sense, I’m gonna explain that Steven goes by Pink in this. If I say Pink I’m referring to Homeraised Steven, and if I say PD I’m referring to the actual Pink Diamond!

So with that in mind, in this AU, everyone is made aware that PD passed her gem onto Pink when he’s abducted as a baby by the other Diamonds. What he’s taught is that he has amnesia, that he is the original Pink Diamond, and for some utterly selfish and bizarre reason, he has decided to take this human form. However, when it comes to doubt, deep down he’s... at least somewhat aware that... well, something about this amnesia business doesn’t quite add up. ; )

yes! Pink was captured as a baby, he doesn’t really remember very much of his time on Earth! Mainly has what the diamonds say about it to go off of, which.... let’s just say isn’t great, haha

hey guys- I know I’m pretty inactive on this blog nowadays. Things have been hectic and tough for me lately, however that doesn’t mean Homeraised isn’t still on my mind. This post is relevant here not only bc it supports me but also bc it applies to homeraised- this could definitely be part of patreon in the sense that... right now, at this stage in my life, I cannot feasibly have Homeraised be a little passion project.

My first goal is to be able to support myself, even just a little bit better. No matter what, I really want to get back on working on HR just because it’s something I still really love- but if folks paying for a patreon really wanted to see this kind of content from me and were willing to support me in the process of making it, it could definitely happen sooner. I would still make it free to read of course, but perhaps post things ahead of time on Patreon, etc. please let me know what you guys think/what you’d want to see!

I do apologize profusely for this, given that this was intended to be a passion project from the start, but my situation changed in a lot of ways. I hope you guys understand ultimately, and that no matter what, even if I don’t get the support to do this sooner and prioritize it higher, I really want to make this happen eventually, I think about my boy Pink almost every day 😔

hi! So, commissions have been quite slow, which has worried me somewhat just bc Im rly trying to find a way to make some money to help pay for school and it’s very hard for me to find work rn- so I was thinking.

I may start a patreon? And what I’ll do with that is, depending on what tier you pay, I will make art for you each month! Pretty much whatever you want (within some very loose guidelines)! And on top of you getting your own piece or multiple pieces, depending, I will also take special patreon requests and draw what folks would enjoy seeing! I may also even consider doing music commissions (I do indeed make music) or smth of that nature, we’ll see!

Really sorry for the low quality on this one, it was a doodle I did in a drawing platform called Aggie with some pals! I am very much not dead, I was working on Homeraised (which will be coming out soon, not in comic form though you’ll see!) when I abruptly may have lost a very close friend of five years due to reasons I still don’t understand. It’s hit me pretty hard, so as a result getting back into making things has been... well, hard. But I at least wanted ya’ll to have some kind of update from me aside from a commissions sheet! Alright, I admit I’ve been putting this off for some time now but it’s time to addres this. Homeraised is admittedly currently on a shelf. I ended up working on the comic for some time, and then got burned out a bit ago and needed to focus on other things for a while. Pink and his story faded a little bit for me, which is why there’s been absolute radio silence on it. HOWEVER. I am not going to downright abandon Homeraised. I’m currently thinking of how to proceed with telling Pink’s story, perhaps in a manner different than a comic. A couple of things have crossed my mind- an illustrated Fanfiction, an ask blog, a series of animated shorts. I’m still not sure yet. But Homeraised is not dead. I’m simply trying to figure out how to proceed with the story, I hope you guys understand! ❤️

Oh! Well, yeah, I will admit my persona is constantly changing, I’ve lately been playing with a very old version of them that had four arms and a third eye, and as for colored versions, I’m always dying my hair new colors so it changes a lot. Anything goes, really, the only thing that is consistent throughout is the way I draw my hair! Here’s a few examples though:

When pink thinks about Earth, is he reminded of anything? Does he have any set aside feelings? Or does he feel nothing towards that rock and the species existing there?

Oh he definitely has feelings about it! In Peridot’s words... “It's hard not to have some feelings for where you came from.” However, he can’t really let that show. So as far as anyone’s concerned, it’s trash to him.

Well... he is a Steven at the end of the day. When it comes to being a Diamond, he’s not very good at uh... hurting others. There are other things but... you’ll just have to see. : )
