Hey mod! 'm curious, are we allowed to see your [potential] plans/designs for the others? Or is it just a "it'll be revealed as we progress" type thing? -🌾

//Y’know what, I’m not sure I’ll ever properly continue this (I’m sorry!!!) so I will! Part of the reason this kind of died out is probably the fact that I didn’t really have anything planned out 😔 (well. Aside from the most basic bits)

Honestly, these designs are a little old, but I still think they’re pretty good! I never did get around to drawing Tommy though, or Darnold or Forzen.

As you might have guessed! The guard was our dearest Benrey himself, in disguise! Also Beeman gets a major glowup

And since I might as well, here is the original vaguely planned out story:

- Some shady people would be after Freeman, they probably worked with the people holding the event? Anyways he flees the city for a while with Joshie, at which point there would be a dream sequence flashback to his time as (surprise surprise) a detective! Who made a lot of enemies, and never quite managed to make ends meet, so he quit, moved, and became A Criminal. He coparents Joshua with his ex, who isn’t important to the story.

- He would later return to the city to commit thefts. I don’t recall just why? It might have been something to do with Gman hiring him to do a job with some other people (the rest of the science team), which is how he got to know them. They would bond a bit, decide they make a great team, and decide to team up for more missions, and Freeman picks up a bit of flair from the rest. By the next heist, they would suddenly be faced with a rival thief- Benrey, who had some code name or other. Mothman maybe? And from there it’s a bit of a rivals-to-friends situation.

- He would later return to the city to commit thefts. I don’t recall just why? It might have been something to do with Gman hiring him to do a job with some other people (the rest of the science team), which is how he got to know them. They would bond a bit, decide they make a great team, and decide to team up for more missions, and Freeman picks up a bit of flair from the rest. - Freeman would at some point lose his arm/hand along with a fair bit of trust in the team, but he’d get patched up by Darnold and eventually would gain some trust back with his team.

- Blah blah blah, one final confrontation with Benrey, some sort of accident occurs and Benry saves him, he questions his motives and Benrey doesn’t know how to respond etc. They get to know each other and Benrey is adopted into the team

I don’t think I had anything further planned, no details or anything, except that neither Tommy nor Gman are exactly human either.
