Has anyone tried contacting Writer Beware/the SFWA? http://www.sfwa.org/other-resources/for-authors/writer-beware/legal/  This seems relevant to their interests, as they don’t take kindly to any organization that bases its entire business model on stealing from writers.  Also, if the site’s indiscriminately hoovering up electronic works left and right, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve also ganked work from SFWA members, in which case it will be VERY RELEVANT INDEED to the SFWA.

She changed her name and joined Plague, and terrorized the ~fuck~ out of our newbies in PlagueSkype.  I had assumed that someone so hugely fucking racist would've been perma-banned from FR, and thought the user in our chat just had a similar name; the folks modding our Skype are awesome, but they aren't active on Tumblr drama sites, so they weren't even aware of her initial racist scumbaggery.

So, for a while, she was hanging out in the official PlagueSkype chat.  Some newbies tentatively tried criticizing her because, you know, she's a racist sack of shit, but since the long-time chatters were either too stupid to realize what was going down (me) or had never even seen the initial drama on Tumblr (our mods), it took a while for us to shake things out.

Since this ~shitbag~ isn't permabanned on FR, she needs to be referred to by her account number:  #34915.  The current user-blocking system is woefully inadequate; if you block a person and they change their account name, you won't be informed of it, and FR will present that new name to you like it's someone you never blocked.  Some of my friends have been complaining about the fact that blocked users can buy their auctions, and that they have no way of knowing if a seller is on their blocked list from AH listings.

AsylumInmate, also known as Groovie, is a racist.  Blatant racist.  She went on genocidal rants about how “Gypsies” should be killed with fire.  She fetishizes black people as “exotic” and “sometimes able to be civilized”, dumbed Asians down as one umbrella group of “kawaii little yellow people”, and all the while said that she thought she was being complimentary.

She thought she was giving us all compliments when she said that we (non-white groups, to one of which I belong) were sometimes capable of reaching white levels of civilization.  When she called Asians cute little yellow people.  Compliments.  And it didn’t occur to her that genocide might be the wrong way to go about things.

There was some pretty obvious backlash that followed, because the rest of us sane and rational and not neo-Nazi people were immediately angered and disgusted by her, and we weren’t shy about letting her know that.

And then she ran to the Shadow forums to claim that she was being bullied and victimized when people were disgusted with her point of view .  And a couple of brilliant white knights of course leapt to the rescue of the damsel in distress, and stood by her when Dracoon/@Unkorea -fr provided the context for the “bullying” Groovie was receiving.

When another user called her out on her racist bullshit, she bought that user’s dragon, named it Rogue, gave it a stereotypical Gypsy motif and full-tilt racist biography, and then spite-exalted the hatchlings with such names as NoWhiteGuilt/DiversityIs/WhiteGenocide.

Diversity is white genocide.  This is her actual views on life, and she wonders why people don’t like her.

What someone else said:  FR allows trading with off-site resources.  As long as you're not hocking your KS items for real money, you're TOS-compliant.  Folks who are super-rich on other petsites or have a bunch of shiny Pokemon or whatever can tap those resources and hit the ground running.

As for spending ridiculous amounts of $USD on virtual items, some people can afford to.  In fall '13 there was a rumor going around that someone paid for a Boolean by buying about $300 USD worth of gems.

We haven't even gotten to the possibility of a newbie being good friends with a rich player.  I'm not that wealthy, but I've done things like gift a newbie a 1kg-ish sprite.

I'm also not sure someone could make 70mil treasure even if they botted for two straight months.

Look on the bright side, OP:  if you've got a stash of valuable items on another petsite, you too can collect all the sprites!
