I fell in love with these animals as a kid traveling to our National Parks. Their rarity and ferocity made me sharply aware, even as a child, of just how much of a responsibility we have toward our environment. I can't bear the thought of them being a fucking casualty of Trump and Musk.

Quick drawing as my reward for grinding school all day. I just started rewatching part 6 and I #needthat. He grew on me so much,,, I hated him in part 3 outside of jotakak related scenarios. I feel like he actually developed and he’s not a nonchalant warrior anymore in part 6. Sooo fine

i spoke about this on twitter already and idk what the conversation about it is like on here but we need to talk about how safe jotaro mustve felt to like, trust, fall in love, marry and have a child with jotawife. jotaro, who was probably overly cautious and withdrawn when he came back from egypt, paranoid of enemy stand users, because god knows how many minions dio actually had that we dont know about. i think its such a sweet thing for me to think about. how did they meet? how long did it take for jotaro to let his guard down around her? what silly little inside jokes did they have? how long were they together before they got married? did they marry before or after jolyne was born? did he cry when he first held jolyne and her mother together, finally feeling some sense of tranquility. his family.

how soon was this ripped away from him? when he realised that the only thing he could do to protect jolyne was to leave. were they attacked? his family put at risk and the only thing he could think about was the 50 days to egypt, avdol, kakyoin and iggy. was it then that he cemented his decision to create this wedge between him, jolyne and her mother? he refused to let his child go through what he went through.

the resentment that jolyne holds towards him is very valid aswell. she, obviously knew nothing of this and only saw it as jotaro being a deadbeat. this is why i love the decision for him to turn up at the end of stone ocean. jolyne is seconds away from death when he performs time stop and theres a frame where we see him holding her, shes covered in blood, moebius strip in view. and he has this expression on his face, something i can only describe as complete devastation. i like to think of this as him realising that his efforts to protect jolyne throughout her life meant nothing because in the end she is a joestar and wouldve been targeted anyway.
