This is sooo gooood. There’s so much to it. It’s a War fic with political intrigue, but they also spend a lot of time researching magic. The author never delves into magic theory, but the characters do, and you see how the characters develop throughout the story. There’s also humor thrown in that will catch you off guard. I don’t know what I’d call the genre --- maybe action/adventure?

(This is my new fave ship. It’s a super rare pare -- less than 10 complete on ao3 -- so I was pleasantly surprised to see a binge-worthy multichap.)
